counter counter point: This would not have stoped the child from being hyperactive, this would not have helped the elf keep an eye on him, and this would not have prevented those two guards from being in that spot at that time. Ell was only present for these events, she did not cause them to happen. There is a chance the boy's father might have not left his song in the room if there was only one adventurer present, however he stated he was in a rush, so it is always possible he would have asked the elf to do it alone.

Counter Counter Counter Point: The Elf similarly would either not have been there had Ardon not gotten the rest of her party wiped out and stolen the money for the win she got fair in square out from under her by lying until she gave up. Further, she would not have been on bad terms with Elly and she would have had her party if not for Ardon. thus, either
A) Paladin doesn't distract elf from mission cause they can get along well enough to just focus on the job at hand,
or
B) Elf uses other party members of her own and Paladin get's a different job for her respective party, and this doesn't happen cause now the Elf is working with her own party. thus giving her less internal conflict to contend with and possibly more Manpower.

So Ell is trying to convince Odivallus that he can find his fiance and then she kisses him. How is that possibly a good idea? :smallconfused:

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Not an idea, more of an impulse.

It's about freaking time.
Of course, Ardon will accidentally ruin it somehow, and soon.

Tiger: Not that kinda copped!!! -.-
Glyp: For his own sake he'd better not or he might find himself down anywhere form 2-4 party members.

This is because LSN is a troll.
A hilarious troll, that is.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
actually I like this.
Spoiler: Why:
Show
because it shows that Odivallus is having a clear conflict without him just saying it, the reveal at the end clearly makes his guilt known and gives him something to worry about, something that could plague him for a long time.
more conflict than just "durp durp I'm Ardon, I'm an evil fae jerk karma houdini, watch me escape from whatever chaos I myself make."

Agreeing with the sentiment posted here.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
tch, at this point I'm kind of tired of labeling everything unexpected in a story as "trolling" its becoming an overused piece of slang that was never a good term to begin with and has the connotations of purposefully doing this just to spite the reader or making a lowbrow joke instead of deepening the story. :smallyuk:

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Clearly, the WSWFG Robot Uprising conspiracy is going according to plan.
Also...regarding the Vote Incentive minicomic:
Spoiler
Show
Not sure whether to be happy or sad that Peanut is actually confirmed as near-mindless, rather than just faking it with an amazing Bluff score. And 45's "dream" is very amusing.

I never saw these voting incentives before.
Is there any way to go back and see pages 1 and 2?
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Sorry, they won't be available again until the day WSWFG sees a print run (who knows). This is why you have to vote twice every day JUST IN CASE something cool is under there!
If it's any consolation, each page was more interesting than the last, so you're seeing the better half of the extras.

You really should have given some advance notice this was coming or left them up for a few days each or something then.
This is really dumb that I don't check your comic for a couple days despite being a regular reader and miss out on content, regardless of how minor.

I freaking hate being torn. I so much prefer to be able to sit there and go "No, that would be bad! I don't want that to happen to him/her!" or "Oh, good, he/she's a monster!"

I'm fine with Ardon dying a horrible death or being captured, but I also want 45 to grow a level of empathy and become an established team member.

I assume you mean notice apart from the blog post he made directly beneath the main comic, which you must have seen if you care about this? :smalltongue:

The blogpost that was made the same day the voting incentives started you mean?
Like I said, skip checking the comic for a couple of days, and you're screwed.

Spoiler: Unless....

...Peanut does an epic critical hit to his face and just wastes him before Ardon even has him as a blip on his radar. In which case Ardon will never know, and thus won't get said reinforcement.
