It does not. I've not yet decided whether you can teleport directly into Aurora, but you can definitely teleport close enough to where it is less than a minute away.

Exactly. Half the members aren't even going to know who he is. Nite's there though.

I shall. Just a lot of places to look at right now.

Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
I'm wondering...
Now that Alex is dead but the person that had taken over his corpse has taken another and is still experimenting on himself and has absorbed three lesser gods, how do I keep him from being an overpowered jerkass?
And, how do I keep his original plan going at a comfortable pace now that someone pretty much skipped the first two steps for him?
And how do I keep him from being another annoying jerkass who just gets his butt handed to him by the ISF, who are normal people that can somehow bring down tyranid hivemaster-thingies. ((forgive me tyranid players, I'm an ork player, so I just focus on killing the big bug in the middle for shiggles, not learning whta it is))
-
Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
I...don't think I've had the Empire go against Tyranids. Should've, but wasn't up to it at the time. >.>
Also, there's another city now. Go there or something.
*notes that he does not like dealing with gods*

He's not a god. He just killed 3 and absorbed their powers.

Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
Hey Vael - on a related note, Raz, legion, and Maggy messed up a teleport - can they randomly arrive in Aurora?
-
Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
The giant Tyranid was taken down by PCs. I don't think DC's NPC forces were involved at all.
But basically, the Nexus works like Whack-A-Mole.
So long as a villain stays below the radar and works on a small scale he can get by with quite a bit. But if she sticks her head up too high she's going to get clobbered with a squishy foam club of JUSTICE!
It depends on what you want I guess.
Big climactic battle? Go high power.
Want to go subtle? Don't do anything over right away.
What sort of resistance are you looking for?

Clearly, what we need to do is to have a Quest to save those three he absorbed.

I vote yes because of hilariousness.
-
Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
RPG is right.
He absorbed a lesser god, turned himself into a lich, experimented on himself, absorbed Maya and Ariel, then was killed by Ana.
Now that he' stolen and is adapting to another body, he's going to experiment on himself some more.
Maybe become a lesser Xanaboa (I'll explain when it happens).
He's entirely killable.
Doing so without losing a few people in the process, well....

I suppose, but I'm kinda distracted at the moment. I can't guarantee I'll do anything very quickly.

Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
Short deadtime for a while.

Thats cool - we have slow timezone issues anyway :smalltongue: If I wasn't a loser staying up all night we'd never interact.

Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
I haven't been posting recently, due to difficulties with my schedule, a trouble getting into the flow of things and maintaining my interest in current goings ons, and what may be a rather nasty bout of streph throat. I apologize to all affected.

Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
*pokes Murkus to Trog's* Of course you could just be busy, but... *pokes again*
-
Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
Ouch. :smallfrown: Get well soon, Neon!
-
Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
A trickster spirit is mixing drinks at Trog's Tavern! Pay a visit for shenanigans!
Or just a strange drink that probably won't kill you.
Might make you want to sing about things, though.
Like the Moon in June or maybe Spring.

Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
I'm going to have to deadtime soon but I should be back on later tonight or around my usual way-too-late time tomorrow.

Saw Trun: Sea of Legs, starring David Bowie as David Bowie/The Divine David/David Bowie/Captain Marvelous.
In friend's basement with friend and furry.
I has 3D glasses with one lens punched out, and a voodoo doll worn as an earring.

Re: Nexus OoC 12: Out of Cornflakes.
Is RPG gonna post soon or should I just down my coffee and get to work on this project?

Beans, if your life had a face I would punch it. I would punch your life in the face.

You probably should, but I did post. Although I'm leaving that here for tonight. I'm not feeling up to it.

I'll be going home tomorrow, and have a regularized posting time. Still might not do anything with it. :smallsigh: :smalltongue:
