A series of injured people checking into the 4th division. >_>
Most notably 12 shinigami who have floppy bones and lack senses, courtesy of the Novena Espada.
Most of these can be taken care of off-screen, and we can be loose with who's healing whom. Character interaction takes priority over sick people! :smalltongue:

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Just so everyone knows, I will not be on very frequently this weekend: going to spend some time with my parents, and see what my little sister's college is like. I'll be leaving around 2:00 CST.

*Points happily at the wiki*
You should go look at the awesome picture Kasanip drew.
-
Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
That really is quite gorgeous; very dramatic. Kasanip, how'd Mage rope you into drawing that for him?
-
Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Wow, good job Kasnip.
And yes, how did he? I want to emulate his methods. :smalltongue:

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Um...begging seemed to work...
*shrug*
:bump:
I'm sending out my invitation for people to write up characters to fight under my new Vasto Lorde again. I have a couple now, but some more would be helpful.
Buzz me with a PM if you're interested.

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
...Very well.
Kasnip, can I get a picture to, pretty please? With a cherry on top?
-
Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Spoiler that for pete's sake. It is huge.
Also, it is very cool drawing. I am inclined to poke and ask for one such as well.

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
MASSIVE PAGE STREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETCH
Also, deadtiming.

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.

I wanted to make sure he saw the cat. The cat was an integral part of my begging strategy.

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
hey, question. Suggestions as to how long I should wait for Metta to start being functional again? I'm tempted just to wait until plot starts up for abilities to come back...Kinda like Uryu at the beginning of the bount arc...

I would have said something. But I really don't know anything about who is Viral, and the british thing is very shrug worthy to me.

@Shades - thanks, Off to work for the 4th then!
As for pictures...well, generally when people ask I try to help out
But, I do have a bit of a backlog of pictures to do...maybe if you PM instead I can help out? I know I'll lose track of a request/beg in here.
Oh, and no giant cat pictures please >< It scares me, and will make me uninclined to draw anything but malicious looking giant cats.
Well, I guess if your character is a malicious giant cat that may work for you.~

Not taking into account all of the side stories going on (and if my time line is off and/or missing things, I blame memory loss):
The loose plot of the game kicks off ten years after Toho Tohon, then the beloved Shinigami Captain of the 5th Squad (and the game's Aizen), opened the path for a massive Hollow attack on the Seireitei. He has since, with the assistance of Erscheinung Von Geister (the game's Barragan), perfected the process of creating Arroncar with the Hōgyoku, formed the game's version of the Espada, and founded Las Noches as its capitol.
Toho's defection was significant in that it also marked the end of the game's QuinShin War, in which the Shinigami were systematically wiping out the Quincy for their use of power to, as it was then understood, destroy souls altogether rather than just drastically slowing down the rebirth process. The strike on the home front, as well as the atrocities committed during the War, lead to Diasuke (the game's Genryūsai, despite being his polar opposite temperamentally) reclaiming the position of Captain-Commander due to both his personal potency and idealistic views.
The game's surviving Quincy are a global secret society that resembles a cross between the Yakuza and the Illuminati, with each region boasting a significant population of Quincy represented by a seated member on the Elder Council. So far, there are two Council members in play. Hitomi Gokudo (from Japan, the home of the Council) and Tsuo <last name here> Sr. from Australia(?). In any case, the J-City branch is lead by Ran Gokudo, the new Administrator of Facility 13: The Shrine (a massive R&D lab and home to the Quincy super weapon that was to be used to end the war had the QuinShin Accord* not been signed just before it's creation was complete).
Such is the general lay of the land. In addition, there are later formed factions such as the Bount (who's origins are somewhat similar to canon, though lead by the vile Hans), the Olympians (a group of universe destroying aberrations unique to this game setting, lead by Harubo), the Samsara (another group unique to this setting who's goals are, as of yet, still widely unknown though lead by Lan), the ARC (the American Reaper Corps are the 'Shinigami' of the North American continent locked in a war with the Hollow Gods of the entire South American continent, with the squad in play lead by <hell-if-I-can-remember-her-name>), the Fae of Briton (lead by a mean old lawyer), and now a new group of Hollow lead by a Vasto Lorde named Tirano.
*The QuinShin Accord is a document wherein the Quincy, using a technique devised by the combined efforts of the 12th and Kido Corps, alter their inborn powers to send their fallen enemies to a Soul Society rather than disintegrating their soul's spiritron particles. This alteration weakens the Quincy, but makes their powers Soul Society friendly since the extremely slow rate with which fragmented souls (those 'killed' by true Quincy power use) reform and reincarnate is incredibly slow, causing many to still speculate that the damaged souls do not ever fully recover.
((Side note: Given the sheer bulk of sides, I'd personally like to call a formal stop to the addition of new Factions until a fair number of the current ones are culled through PC death, or pulled out of active play.))

Actually I was under the impression the Samsara were based off the villains from the first movie. :smallconfused:

This is more or less true. They're not the lame "Dark Ones", but actual Blanks that have regained memories from...somewhere. I'm not telling where. But their Blanks...sort of.

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
I have not watched any of the movies yet, though I plan to as soon as I have the time. All the better to understand the core material for running the story.

That is... Remarkably succinct, and yet accurate on so many levels. Wow. I even learned a few things I didn't know, and I've been here the whole time. :smalleek:
*standing ovation*

Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Oh, yes, that is a good overview. Perhaps we should put it in the boilerplate for the start of our threads (in a spoiler), so that newcomers will know what's up more easily.
-
Re: BleachitP OOC XI: All wet and tied up.
Good idea Sucrose...
I assume that would fall upon the person who's making the new thread? Or would there be a set synopsis somewhere (alliteration!) that could be referenced/spoiler-posted?
