So, on the last page...
Reinforce, set up! :smalltongue:
(Yes, there is an anime containing a book with a cross on it which can steal spells and turn into a cross when not in use)
One other thing I noticed: The previous wielder of this Weapon ALSO had a cross motif. Considering they're family, it's to be expected, but... still.
So... I'm assuming shipping them is expected, yes?
Updated.
Now I can sleep.
(cracks whip)
Obey the raptor!
[/joke]
Hm, they're funded by the Catholic Church?
Please don't tell me that the final battle is going to be the mains vs. the Church vs. the Illuminati vs. every other conspiracy theory out there.
Actually, do tell me that. It'd be awesome!
If they fight the catholic church I will love you forever.
Sweet. I'm going to update the Encyclopaedia.

We've also seen three sigils: Ben's, Bart's, and Jupiter's.
New page up.
The wall of text gives me an excuse to not draw too much. Mr. Informational Silhouette there is also thankfully devoid of features, so this one came out quick.
Nice. And have you sent an e-mail recently to the guy? It's still stuck on chapter 4 on the website.
Wow, that's scary. :smalleek:
Crazy man is crazy.
...These codices don't seem entirely benign if the lingering presence of their aura in a person causes them to go insane and murderous. What is their deeper nature and true purpose, I wonder...
They only make you go mad if you lose control...
Please don't say Elagune is the kind of author who's going to have that happen to a main character like Eve near the end... :smalleek:
That would be a "shoot the dog" moment, wouldn't it?
It would be a BreakTheCutie as well.
What's the point of stage 1, and how did they "discover" stage 1? It seems there are no symptoms, and descent is a one-way trip anyway...
There's probably a bit before then where it's started, but it can be reversed.
'symptoms' refers to noticeable changes in appearance or behavior in this case. It's possible the aura would have a noticeable change, like when a human is awakened, and that's when stage one starts.
Failing that I assume stage one starts as soon as the major shift in personality occurs. So stage one causes no symptoms itself but it can still be noticed, and later on it can be marked, and it's a stage at all because nothing appears to occur until stage two starts.
Now you've jinxed it :smallannoyed:
I have a feeling that if that does happen they are going to discover a way to reverse it.
Probably. I HOPE Elagune isn't that mean...
I don't mind sad stories, but I need my happy endings.
Eve surviving decent need not be Idealistic. Treating decent like a debilitating mental illness would provide massive emotional torque as we watch Eve fight with hearing voices, seeing things and her relationship with Ben.
Arguably: Eve surviving Decent would be far more cynical.
Were giving Elagune ideas! Were thinking up the plot "FOR" him!:smallcool:
