Rime leaves the train alongside Golden and tries to stick close by the group at least until the group has their supplies secured. She will not help carry anything since she is leaving the group shortly.

Doc waves, to acknowledge he heard Rime.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Golden grins widely at Pepper. "As a matter of fact, they do!" she says with an almost wicked smile, "They focus on survival gear, though the stuff they stock the shelves with pushes the boundaries of mere survival. Come along if you want to see some neat guns up close."
She begins to distribute the cases among those who have volunteered to carry them, including one for herself. Rime, notably, is not weighed down by one. But then, she looks around. "Hmm. Where did that Sand Dog go?"
-
Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Pepper floats towards the cargo area, hoping to unload and can carry what she can, though she at least seems to hold faith that Doc can do his share, too.
"What's the contents of your cargo, anyhow?" she asks of Golden, assuming her employer hasn't left yet.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Oddy smile at Doc.
"I guess. Nice dodge." she hopped toward the luggage, she touched a box- and it dissapeared.
She took as much as her mysteriouse pocketverse could hold.
"See, Pepper? Easy peasy!' she look around.
"I can look for k'her. For us none ponies it's k'hard to blend in.'

"I will help look before I head off." Rime waves. "See you ponies later!" Rime holds her walking stick in hoof and searchs the train station for Roxy.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
"Tents. Tinder. Camp stoves and fuel for them," she says, "Oh. And my weapon of choice, of course. It's a bit too big to carry around in polite areas, so I mostly keep it stored until it's time to venture forth." She grins. "I've got it in my trunk here. I call it 'Wildheart'. It's a flamer. I make the fuel myself."
To Oddy, she says, "That's alright. She heard where we were meeting and the four of us can handle these trunks. Rime can see if she can spot her. Let's head to the store for now, if you don't mind. After we get a sled, the three of you can do as you please."
Rime may or may not see Roxy, depending on what Roxy has been up to...
-
Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Roxy's eyes narrow. "Thought you were going to get them riled up? Make it look like self defense." Least this job was sounding like it was a bit different than Quoth had led on last night. Roxy still looks for potential hiding spots nearby to be inconspicuous in and listen from.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Doc believes flamers to be barbaric, nasty weapons. The burns are painful and difficult to heal for the survivors. Against non-living critters it isn't so bad, but in any case, he keeps this opinion to himself since there wasn't a debate about it. Doc continues to carry stuff and follow Golden.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Pepper gives Oddy a rather stony look and with a shrug of her shoulders she takes the empty crate and carries it away, not willing to risk an aneurysm trying to figure this out. Anypony or pony-like sentient with a horn must be able to do weird crap, that's all...
"Yeah? It got a make and model? Most flamers are just gas cans rigged to to a stock, held together by tape and a poor understanding of flammables." she remarks to Golden, wondering if the Unicorn knows more about this than she's letting on. Probably a little but not in the way Pepper suspects.; she did hire somepony with a heavy shotgun, after all, but if she's bragging about the literal heat she's packing Pepper thinks the better of skimping out on her heavier shells for this little mission.
-
Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Oddy cheerfully hopped without touching the floor.
"I do love your trunk, Golden!' she winked.
"Nice cutie mark!"
k'here is Roxy!" she pointed like an excited filly.
'So does anypony k'has a walking song?"
-
Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Rime walks further into the train station looking for Roxy.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
"Yes," Quoth said flatly, "But I'm making sure they have the caps first. The word is just the signal. If they're angry, it'll confuse them for a moment. Probably." His body is tense, though he's trying to appear relaxed. Eyes are on them right now, after all.
Roxy could actually hide behind a dumpster off to the side, if she wanted.
====
"A Dragonfire model. Pre-War," Golden says, "But modified to suit my purposes. It conserves fuel pretty well." She winks back at Oddy. "I bet you say that to everyone. Actually, I'd put ten caps on it, if I could be assured that I hadn't just influenced the results."
She thinks for a moment. "I may know one or two. But maybe not in the middle of the street. Don't want to start a flash mob."
====
Rime eventually spots Roxy and Quoth standing near each other a little ways off.
-
Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
'Well, you are the first one I said it to, in three days!" Oddy said cheefully
"And as for my compliments, I never lie. I just look for what attractive in anypony. Even I k'have something nice to say to anyone, it doesn't make it less genioune. For example-"
She look at pepper.
"I really love Pepper's adorable crankiness. It make me wanna k'hug k'her even more!"

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
"Please refrain from pestering the pegasus with the very large and shiny gun," Golden cautions Oddy, "Still, three days, hmm? Well, that is pretty often, all things considered."
It's only a short walk to the store, but the trunks are a little heavy and slow them down a little bit. Well, all except for Oddy, who has perfected what some have called the 'Hammerspace' technique. The streets are warm here, underground. Neighagara Falls is not a Stable, but it is built into the side of the gorge. All the streets are inside and underground. It is well-lit too, which is rare out in the Wastes. However, if any town were to have both power and heat, it would be the one built on top of a giant, hydroelectric plant.
Soon the Powerline Supply comes into view. It is on the corner of an intersection, covered in neon lights, and boasts a steady stream of ponies headed in and out. Golden gestures to it. "Behold!" she says dramatically, "My cousin's store!"

"Shiny," Doc says. "Hope you two are on good terms."
A small piece in Doc's heart just sighed.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Rime enjoys the warm air without layers or being inside a building. The experience had a pleasant feeling to the novelty. She takes her time trying to find a map actually worth the caps. She did say she would hurry for Quoth, but that doesn't mean she can't look around at the view as she searches out her target.
-
Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Riiight. Well Roxy would just have to see how this goes. Ambling non-nonchalantly towards the convenient dumpster and sneaking a glance at the mark.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Golden chuckles nervously. "Well, we aren't on BAD terms, buuuut we may have been in competition since we were fillies and this..." She gestures to the shop. "She is...very much in the lead."
She takes a deep breath and steps towards the door. "Come on. At the very least, she won't try and cheat me."
====
Rime knows that the best place to find a map is the local Scavenging Authority, which keeps records for the city of all the ruins uncovered and looted. They would have the best maps and aren't too shy about passing out the info. Which is why some scavengers don't talk to them, especially when they want to keep a find secret.
====
Roxy takes up position as Quoth approaches the stallion. However, as the two of them talk in low tones, which steadily grow louder and more heated, Roxy spots a mare watching from the corner of the room...and nervously keeping her hoof near a handgun.

"Ah, the competitive sort. I can understand that sort of rivalry," Doc said. He followed Golden to the door and presumably to just enter. "Well, you can't compare yourself to anyone else with how you accomplish your goals. I haven't gotten myself a clinic of my own yet, but think of it, if I did then you wouldn't have a trained doctor on your team. Sometimes things just work out even if it ain't how we planned them."

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
"Daa. Family is annoying.' Oddy agreed.
"Like any fabricated social structure that meant to cage us and-" she shook her head.
"Sorry sweeties. Thinking abiut family, can make me ranty. Anyway-"
She getting closer to Golden. "If it will k'help your prestige in any way, you can say about me what ever you want. I don't mind.'
In the junction, there were sort of prestige in dating reindeers-mysteriouse, beautiful and the bringers of perfect gifts.

"Seems reindeer society is more restrictive than an earth pony one," Doc said. "Reminds me of this gal I once dated. Her family was all about the old unicorn traditions, and she had to be a perfect little wife and marry some rich unicorn noble or something. Yeah, wasn't gonna work out between us. Her dad ran me out of town for being just a muggle-y ol' earth pony. At least he was a lousy shot with that ice spear of his." He chuckles. Good times it was.

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
"You might be surprised k'how many of my dayes I ended up testing the aiming skills of parents, wives and k'husbands.' Oddy laughed, and again her face cringed from the scratch.
"...We weren't always like that..' Oddy say carefully
"We are supposed to worship anything that is fun, and keep the g'holidays alive, no matter what k'happens. But.. I guess I am the only tradionalist who k'has remained.' her ears have folded sadly.
And then again cringe again from the scratch.
"Ughkh!'

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Scavenging Authority, right. Rime delays her walking for a few seconds and looks up to observe the new sights. Travel has not been a high priority in her life up until this point. Then, it is onward towards the shop. If/when she arrives, she judges the building from the outside. This places buildings were different from the compounds at Rainbow Resort. Why couldn't her hometown's buildings have more independence?

Re: The Frozen North: All Aboard!
Doc tilts his head. "Yeah... are you okay? You seem to be uncomfortable about something."
He observes Oddy and then points to her spots. "Uh, were those always there?"

Just as a heads up, Pepper is currently calling herself Glint or Glint Eastwind and hasn't given anyone her real name because she snuck out of the Resort after destroying the security team's database.

Pepper/Glint smirks at her boss's handling of the reindeer but she keeps quiet for moments after being explained Golden's relationship with the store owner. She suspects that they may eventually get in cahoots if Golden's team find anything worth selling in that vault. Caps have a way of melting away family rivalries....
"Hm. She's not running the only store here in town, I take it. She have any stiff or ruthless competition?"
