Each ghost has a separate job. Antoine's is interrogation. Evocation leads units into siege on rebel strongholds. Divination spies and listens for conspiracies throughout the city. Transmutation often simply stays back after buffing soldiers. Necromancy converts killed resistance members into a useful workforce. Illusion covers up signs of resistance with her illusions, making the public unaware. Abjuration guards the headquarters and other important places. Finally, Conjuration summons heavy planar support if needed.
Breakdown:
Offensive: Conjuration, Evocation
Defensive: Abjuration, Transmutation
Recruiting: Enchantment, Necromancy
Targeter: Divination
Clean-up: Illusion
Current Ghosts
The problem is that the public knows about the Resistance. For them, it's a terrorist group of fanatics that want only war and chaos. There is even a fictionalised film series about Agent What's-his-name hunting down these foul terrorists.
@Shades of Gray: Okay.

Yes, but the less resistance shown, the better. This isn't 1984, a place where they led by fear of war, although it could be. I think it's more like Brave New World, where "everyone" is too happy to rebel.

It's Q's fault she had to die. He left her behind.

Eh whatever. I forgot she even existed because you hadn't made a comic with her doing anything.
It seemed like you lost intrest in writing that character, so she wasn't included in my comics.

No, I have NO idea how to use it. I don't understand a single option in the program. I used MSPaint so much, I got completely used to it and completely unused to anything else.:smallannoyed:

Both programs have square and circle buttons wich in inkscape is all you need to make an avatar. So what's the problem...
It's not critism and I think you should do what you want, so don't be mad.

For one thing, how am I supposed to make curved lines? The bezair thingy acts funny when I use it, and I have trouble 'canceling' it. And there some other problems, too.
Try using Paint for a little while and see how your drawing turn out. It takes practice to learn to use Paint, and it takes practice to stop using it.:smallannoyed:

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
You just have to get used to it.
-
Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
To make curves you click and drag. To end it with all work either right click or connect the end-points. To end it and delete all work press escape.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
to undo press Ctrl z
and you can undo more than thrice which is always nice.

1. Press the bottom below the arrow in the upper left corner.
2. click object.
3. make sure the object is a path by clicking path at the upper screen and then clicking "object to path" in the path menu.
4. Click and hold on the line you wan't cuyrved and drag.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
You also have to add a node if you want to make the boob line.
(circles were the nodes are)

a lot more than thrice.
sometimes i made a whole comic out of anouther and then after accidentally saving over the old file name, i restored the old comics by holding ctrl+z

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
I do the same thing when I've deleted something a while back that I need later. The only thing to be wary of is that, like with webpages, if you go back and change something, you can't go forward again to your original place with ctrl+y

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
thats because the redo on inkscape is shift control z :smalltongue:

Undo is ctrl+z, redo is ctrl+y. That's pretty much the standard.
I've literally just checked, those are the default bindings, though you certainly can redo with shift+ctrl+z.

Yup. For some reason, they vary. I think WordPerfect also uses SHift-Cnt-Z.:smallconfused:

Really? Mine says (and works as) Control-Y.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Ditto for me.
Also, the Skornbail Incident is accepting cameos.
-

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Post in the Skornbail thread if you want the cameo. Oh, and read the comic while you're at it:smalltongue:
Also: The comic takes place like 50-100 years before FFF. If you have an ABR character it may not be viable. Post the character you wish to cameo as.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
I've already read it several times, not much to read. =/

Now after you removed that christmassy shoe thing from your avatar I finally realize that it's supposed to be a foot and not :smallmad:-eyebrows up there

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
who be making the next comic?
-
Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Well, I'm mostly waiting on Mask putting together a battlefield map for me to strategise over, but I've also got some forces to construct off-planet.
