Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Is Serini Crying over loss of her power (and fur) or dying (Well Elves and their half breed king need magic to survive)?
P.S- I also watched Korra too.

Elves are a high-arcana species.
Rust is implying the destruction of arcana.
What would happen to the human body if all water inside was evaporated?

I know that destruction of arcana will kill off the elves but I am just checking if Half Elf still count as High-arcana species even with human blood (Which means destruction of arcana will result their deaths).

If they are magically high however then Murphy and mr. cleric must not have passed their biology exams.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Guess whose theory was proven mostly right by this latest comic? :smalltongue: Well, maybe not the "sacrificing a god" part. It's probably triggered by a ritual that will involve sacrificing the two orphan twins we've seen.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Panel 4 is the scariest to me. What did they "never let go of?"
:smalleek::smallsigh:
Seriously, Murphy. You, sir, are and idiot.:smalltongue:
Also, you said this comic was comedic. It just seems scary and depressing to me recently.:smallfrown:

I couldn't help but notice, that looking at each of those sentences individually all of them could be true separately, and also quite innocent. Once you string them together though, you have a message that prompts aggression. I'm probably not doing a good job explaining this so I hope someone does a better job than me. :smalltongue:

i know, I thought he didn't check and was just poking fun at him :smalltongue:
Never assume "offensive" when "mistaken" is just as valid an option

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Somehow I've got this feeling that the world will be consumed with fire.
Metaphorically, of course.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Wow.... I stop reading the comic for a month or so and the plot unravels... damn.
Great comics as always, though the Blitzike Ruins do look kind of goofy...it reminded me of a cartoon cactus.

Blame this dude called Cerebus. He's been going after the Giant too.

Thus why I listed it as an option.

I thought Cerebus visited the Giant quite some time ago to, ah, make him an offer he couldn't refuse. :smallwink:

Yeah, but they worked it out pretty well, I think. :smallwink:

I hope I can work it out well with him too. Things are going to get a lot worse before they get better.
Also, the TvTropes page needs updating. :smalltongue:

I think Serrin is crying from Fur dying and the fact that being an elf without magic in the peakane family means you are considered useless and that she will not die if arcana is destroyed.
(This is through mainly the hope that Serrin will not die if arcana is destroyed. I mean, she's part human right? Surely that will sustain her if this were to happen.
...
...Right Serrin?! You won't die on me right. You will not die...

Oh, hah. A pony. I am laughing and am definitely amused and in no way saddened.

For your own sake, I hope you're not saddened by the fact that someone did post a pony picture. :smallannoyed:
Anyway, I think both losing her magic and Fir's death would upset Serrin, and it doesn't really matter which is worse for her because either way, it's going to be really tragic for her. I don't think she'll die, though. Her existence isn't powered by magic that much.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Serrin wouldn't drop dead on the spot if arcana suddenly vanished; Fir's death would be more of an immediate blow because, as Serrin herself said, like all familiars Fir's a fragment of her soul bound in the form of an animal.
Oh, and my birthday's Monday!

Either are you implying she will not die but be a useless half point (since she has no magic) or will die slowly.
Will Half Elf survive from arcane's destruction?

Oh, and my birthday's Monday!
And I've been working on a present for both of us on that day! (Getting around to finishing it though, is another challenge.)

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
I'm going to try to get the comic up today. And thanks, Silverraptor.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
May I give you a minecraft skin for your birthday? I just wanted to make you a birthday present even if you do not have Minecraft account. (At least we could see Lloyd in Minecraft)
Just need to know if Llyod is wearing long pants and armor with sleeves.
Here's the first draft (don't know how to find an app for full Minecraft model). Feel free to edit it.

Took me long enough. Let's hope the size is good, since I'm not editing this until tomorrow if there's something wrong. Sorry about the wait, and enjoy!
