For defense maybe GLOG should get something like the place of peace has, something to make it hard to do harmful actions..
Aldren, sits down in the rose garden.. and begins to softly sing a sad ballad.
Meidani starts to hum along to the ballard, setting up harmonies and the like along with him.
"I'll look into it, and see if I can find anything of the sort. Were there any other purchases you wanted made?"
((It was discussed OOC, Celtois, and agreed that it would make things too boring if fights just couldn't happen.))
Helykaan might hear a small knocking on her door as Astrid finds her by the sound of her crying.
Hmmm...
a general upgrade of the security would probably be a good idea, and as I said, I'm a bit concerned about Magtok having the ability to hack our security.
Go away, she says between sobs. The door's not locked. I should just leave. There's no point.
Are you sure? I'd rather come in and talk. Says Astrid through the door. She isn't going to burst in on someones room unless she thinks they are in danger.
Who is it? she asks, because she doesn't know who's at the door.
If she comes in right now, she'll see something different than if she comes in in a couple of seconds. Not that it matters much. Only...6(?) seconds isn't a big deal.
"I'll handle Magtok. He shouldn't be able to control our security."
((OOC: Magtok's player is away for a bit, so not much we can do yet))
"Like I said, draw up your plans and make a list, and I'll see about making the purchases."
Aldren, hears the person singing along with him and sighs.. he'd come here to be alone. He slowly walks away, softly singing the sad ballad/
All right. Thanks. I'm unsure if it's control or just that he's able to look at the videos, but I still don't like it.
Daisuke nods to her. I'll see about getting a plan. See what's available as well.
It's Astrid from the kitchen. I figured you could use someone to talk to. She stays where she is outside the door.
Oh. Your food's really good. she says. She opens the door a bit, and she's somehow back in a pale green dress. Her hair's still in a French Braid, and there's red paint all over her. Her eyes are a little puffy and red, and the room looks like this:
The left side looks like an unfinished picture of a flowered field, except only the colors green and yellow are used, so no sky. The middle is a sort of transition to the right side, and the right side is covered in flames, darkness, and so on, using yellow, red, and orange, and a lot of those colors.
Astrid looks around as she smiles at her. Thank you, glad you liked it. I saw how upset you were, I figured you might want someone to talk to. She smiles slowly.
Shania wakes up snuggling Butler. He's so furry and soft.
No...I don't want to talk. she says.
But, I'm wondering if I should leave. It's just so hard...I just can't do it. she looks down. And she looks a little defeated. I don't know what to do.
I don't think you should leave. The people here are really nice and accepting, this is a nice place. Why would you want to leave?
Aldren unconsciously finds himself wandering back towards Helens room... still singing the ballad. Getting quieter and quieter as he keeps going.
Dinner soon so I'll probably deadtime in a few posts
Shania jumps slightly. H... hello. She starts to release Butler. I'm sorry. I....
Butler just puts his hand on her head and pets her a little.
"It's alright ma'am. It's practically a part of my job ma'am."
I...just don't know if I can do it. It's hard to be good... she says. Unaware of Aldren's slowly softening music.
He makes it within 20 feet of the door when he gets jumped by a deadtime ooze.
I'll be back after dinner if your still on.
I don't know you seemed to be doing a pretty good job of it. At least from the little I've seen of you. That angle seemed upset when you ran off.
Yeah, I'll probably be here. Hopefully.
...did he? Really? she asks hopefully. So he wasn't mad at me?
No I don't think so. More upset that you ran off like you did. Astrid smiles at her.
Oh, she says, looking down at the floor again. I guess...I need to apologize to him, then? That's what good people do, right? She looks up again.
((Pssst...your avatar's naked)) (and he doesn't have 18 Charisma under the hood)
((I know, he likes running free.))
I don't think you need to aplogize, but he might appreciate a explanation. And I think the very fact that you are trying to be good shows that you are well on your way. Now if you excuse me I have to make sure my cake doesn't burn. She waves goodbye as she heads back to the kitchen.
((And that is me needing to go eat, be back later.))
Okay, bye. she says. I'm going to eat really quickly too. Then I'll be back.
