Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Master: ...You got guts girl, however *Retroactively erases The Snarl from existence* it won't help you against me.
Me: I knew it, i freaking knew it...:smalleek:
Master: As you can see, i just rewrote the timestream so that The Snarl never existed in the first place, see what happens when you go up against an entity with complete control over all space and time?
Me: ...*Grabs Lix and cowers behind a large rock*
Master: (Eye roll) *Fixes the timestream so that none of this ever happened* Now you two play good you hear.

I'm always desperately waiting until I forget on tuesday, and then on Friday it's a sudden YAY!
Same here Lix, same here.
Let's see what happens next :smallamused::smallsmile:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Let's try to stay on topic. I don't think Coffee will be pleased if her thread gets closed because of spam.
By the way, Coffee, you forgot to put this comic in the first post.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
*wonders when exactly Tiasaal absorbed the ppower of the snarl, he must have missed that one. also wonders why Closk is insane*
so anyone else notice Matt winking at Radic last comic? the one right after the one titled "Matts best chance"? :P
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Heh, I didn't notice Matt winking, but it's funny.
Yesmiss. (Cowers under Discord's fiery gaze)
XD
Seriously, that avatar makes me go eep.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Thanks Discord. I myself was starting to get a little irritated on how every friday, a bunch of poeple would be making a bunch of useless comments about update day. So try to cut back on doing that guys.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Lloyd was visited by the ghost of a dead relative, and could be heard asking it about Janine:
Spoiler
Show
Mother do you think she's good enough for me
Mother do think she's dangerous to me
Mother will she tear your little boy apart
Oooh aah, mother will she break my heart
Hush now baby, baby don't you cry
Mama's gonna check out all your girl friends for you
Mama won't let anyone dirty get through
Mama's gonna wait up till you get in
Mama will always find out where you've been
Mamma's gonna keep baby healthy and clean
Ooooh Babe Ooooh Babe Ooooh Babe
You'll always be a baby to me

Guys, please don't get this thread closed before I update it. I won't be happy.
And whoops. Sorry Discord. :smalltongue: I'll add it once I update, okay?
And Asta, I don't think any of the characters' mothers were like that. :smalltongue:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Looking forward to seeing what happens next.
Needless to say, Tinder is now my favorite character.
Matt is second, but only because he's so fun to torture.
No idea how i would rank the remaining three members however...
Also, i may not be very active the next couple of days, i'm visiting my dad and his computer is kinda difficult to use, and it keeps screwing with me :smallannoyed:
And don't get me started on the keyboard...

If anyone's was, it was Lloyd's. Janine's mother was probably a puritanical hag who triggered her daughter's rebellion with her speeches about 'dirty pillows' and 'the raven of sin'. Radic's mother was a tree-hugging hippie. And Matt's mother abandoned him at age 3, whereafter he grew up with an old fagin who taught him everything he knows. And as for Tinder's mom... well...
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
LOL!
Okay, that was pretty funny.
Tinder's mom...(Snort)
...(Evil grin)...
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
That's actually pretty funny.
I'd talk about stability and childhood for each character, but that would be spoilers. I'll just say that of the five of them, Radic had the most stable childhood. But most of them had fairly stable childhoods.

Emphasis mine. :smallamused:
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Yes, well... Tinder's childhood ended in fairly bad way. :smallfrown:
And Matt is the buttboy of the universe, so how good could his childhood have been? :smalleek:
And as for Remus... ever since Mommy took him to a place called 'the vet' to get him 'fixed', he hasn't been the same. And all just because he was helping her to water the plants! :smallwink:

Nah, she's saving him for-I think I shall end that sentence for the good of the thread. And me.

I loved it. Yeah, Dragon Disciple sucks big-time. They've improved it in Pathfinder, but it's still not good.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Tsk, greedy greedy Matt.
...That is one heck of a bluff.
That's right Matt, worship the dragon

Hey!:smallmad:
I like Dragon Disciple, even if it is bad.:smalltongue:
Though I like Dragon Shaman more.
As for Tinder's last comment,
I couldn't agree more.

I know very little about prestige classes. And I'm only using what's on the d20 site.

Remember the comic Kid In A Candy Shop? :smallwink:
Matt: A fantastic bluff is a beautiful thing to witness.
 @ Blackbird.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Heh, Radic and Janine both look pretty pissed off at Matt when he makes the sharing comment.
...And what the heck is Janine smiling so much at?
Seriously, she's got this HUGE grin plastered on her face.
Or did until Matt spoke up...

She has a nice view of Lloyd's and Tinder's donkeys.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
:smallbiggrin:Loved it!
Hee, crocodile tears, always funny.
Unless they're used against you!:smallamused:
I also like Matt's reaction, maybe he and Tinder will get along after all...

:smalleek:Sorry, shan't do it again.
Hope this isn't off topic... I've done some research (read: skimmed through some rulebooks) about armor and WHOA! :smalleek: I've always categorized metal armors as "dull pieces of steel and iron"="not worth my interest", but I've totally changed my mind! Yeesh, there is (at least in fantasy)so many different designs and possibilities, even if limited to full-plate armor.
So, the point of all this ramble? Well, this diversity, even if being interesting, has produced a new question: Can I get a little more details of what Lloyds armor should look like? Or at least advice which way I should go?
Considering his character I wouldn't imagine it to be too complicated or decorative. And you said it was a bit worn out?

Thanks!
Actually, I'm not too sure myself. :smalltongue: It's simple, yet sturdy armor. Good for fighting on horseback or on foot. When I say "It's a bit worn out", I mean that it's seen several battles and it's still in good condition. So Lloyd's armor does what it's supposed to do and does it well. He doesn't have the steel armor shoes; instead he has boots. He's also missing part of the lower-torso part of the armor.

Okay, I think I can work with that
Oh, it's such a shame that he ain't female! I cannot just draw an attractive outfit, ad some pieces of metal and call it a day! What a waste! :smallamused::smallwink:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Loved the update, Coffee! Can't wait to see what happens next!
It occurs to me I never said anything about CWater's sketches even though I found them very impressive, so, cool stuff, CWater!
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
That was really well done, Coffee.

I asked a friend over at SJG who is an armor specialist. He suggests:
Quote:
She could try the Wallace Collection, the Higgins Museum, and the Royal Armoury websites. Don't have the addresses.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Aaaawesome update, as per usual. Go Tinder. ♥
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
A question that just popped into my head: What is Janine's last name? The others have been mentioned, but I can't find hers.

Thanks Kask! I checked those; they're really interesting! And not just the armor part.
