Awesome. It's 4:30 a.m. over here, and my brain is fragmenting with tiredness, but I'll definitely go contribute tomorrow
Maybe there's a difference between dreamscapes and other dimensions?

Out of curiosity, what for? Also, do you specifically want admin rights, or would mod rights be sufficient? (I'm just checking. So long as you have something particular in mind, or even just a general plan, I'd be happy tooffload as many responsibilities as I cangive you the power you need.)
For the record, what I hope to do, once the pages get more fleshed out, is to break them down into categories and mess around with forms. However, I feel like that should wait until things are a bit more fleshed out.
(By the way, just switched the theme to something that's a little easier on my eyes, at least.)
I noticed one of the redirects you needed (edit: got the other one!), and took care of it. Code isSo, for the one I did, that wasCode:[[module Redirect destination="putthedestinationhere"]]
The old page is still there, it just got 301'd, which seems like a little much, to me, I think, but whatever.Code:[[module Redirect destination="dominic-deegan"]]
I'm looking at the documentation trying to figure out what admins can do that mods can't. I think the difference is in access to the site control panel. I'm guessing that mod rights would really be more significant in case we started using permissions in some categories (which we don't have many of yet).
Looks like the site control panel lets you do a variety of things. I think the most significant is tweaking the appearance. Other things are pay features, things nobody should touch, or just not relevant yet.
'nother edit: Just started up a new category. To make a page about yourself, just type "snarker:yourname" (substituting your name for "yourname", etc) after the slash in the address bar. Page creators have exclusive edit rights in the snarker: category. Don't know that I have the permissions right, so let me know if you have any issues.
Okay, don't worry about making me an admin. I would like to be a mod, though.
Thanks for the redirect tip!
Due to important strip slaying business I need to attend to, I probably won't do anything wiki-related next week, but after that, I'll probably work on the stuff that right now makes up The Descent of Man (Into Madness And Mookie).
EDIT: I just joined the wiki (as Johnny Blade). The captcha I got when signing up was 'subtlety Inc'. It appears our wiki already identifies with the snark. I like it.
Hey MWChase, can you delete the page "Melna"? I made it a redirect, and I can't seem to access it to change it.
Wiki style questions addressed to the masses: Should Melna's page title be Melna Durnaks, Melna Durnaxe, Melsheena Durnaks, or Melsheena Durnaxe?
While I'm at it should Siggy's dad's page be called "Warlord Mustache" or "Sandor Damaske"? "Thuen Gor" or "Outrage Chief"?
I'm generally in favor of fan nicknames as actual page titles.
Also, Melna Durnaks gets my vote. My incontestable reasoning behind this is that Melsheena sounds kind of stupid and is almost never used, especially for an orc, and I think Durnaxe was only used once or so. I guess Melsheena Durnaks would be the actually correct one, but eh.
I'd go with Melsheena Durnaks, which was her original name if I'm right? And then just mentioned the other names she has.
Same goes for Warlord Mustache, that's not his real name. Go by his real name (which is...?). Also same for Thuen Gor, his name is not canon Outrage Chief. You can mention they're called that by the community though.
Put the fan name in between the first and last names: Sandor "Warlord Mustache" Damaske, Thuen "Outrage Chief" Gor.
Indeed, just put in there original names and nicknames go in the story underneath it. Like
Thuen Gor
Also known as "Outrage Chief", is the leader of...
Chase, can you see if there's a way in the site manager to delete the pages "Melna" and "Warlord Sandor Damaske"? They're both bad redirects.
Guess someone needs to figure out the art of auto-redirecting then so that fan nicknames make one end up on the right page with the right name. :smalltongue:
Yeah, I would have "Outrage Chief" be the page title, and have "Thuen Gor" redirect there.
This is a snarker wiki, no?
To get to the page that was redirected from, put "/noredirect/true" after its URL. So, like, you have to type it in like that, because I'm pretty sure putting it after the redirected-to URL does nothing.
I feel like I should be helping more with this, but my schedule's got me doing important stuff in areas without good wifi. :smallfrown:
Seeing as it's a snarker wiki, we should use the fan nicknames.
I'm kinda wondering how we go about filling out these articles. I was thinking the plan was to summarize the character according to snarker fanon, but is there a canon fanon of anyone's entire history?
Also, Smug Greg, Humble Greg, Aardvark Greg and any Gregs that have slipped under my radar being treated as their own separate character would be pretty funny. To me, at least.
I personally am more likely to search for "Outrage Chief" then "Thuen Gor", and NOBODY will search for anything other than "Warlord Mustache".
Edit:

To the Greg comment, YES. YES PLEASE. That, or have the page title be Greg(s) Deegan, and have a seperate sub-heading for each Greg.
Okay, Siggy's dad's page is now "Warlord Mustache". His real name, Sandor Damaske, redirects.
Will do the same for Outrage Chief.
So far, there is a separate page for Gregory Deegan and for Aardvark. Neither has much content yet.
Edit: Since "Collateral Damage Man" was a nickname Celesto earned well after his introduction, I'm leaving "Celesto Morgan" as his page title.
That's what I found... somewhere... hang on.
Edit: Ah. In the original Encyclopedia Dominica, under "mustache", it lists his name as Sandor. I took that at its word. Is that not in the comic?
Edit2: Okay, I can't find any other evidence of that ever being mentioned as his name, so I'm removing it from the wiki.
No need for Sneaky Gate today
Who here was hoping for meaningless drama between Greg's forgetable second banana bandmates? I know I was :smalltongue:
No wait, I was hoping they all died off-panel and would never be seen again.
I hope one-tusk tries to seduce Luna. At least something would actually be happening then.
Edit: Also, Greg displays his amazing lyricist's mind once again, and Randy apparently waits several months to confront Greg about his nonsense regarding a horrible disfigurement
I want to see that verse. It's probably just 'Annihilator' over and over again because Gregory couldn't think of any words that rhyme with it and also fulfill the secondary requirement of being metal.
And then it ends with 'Lobster of Annihilation! Guardian Destroyyaah!'.
So, what, that's four guys who can't help but want in Luna's pants? I'm surprised the Dominion has gotten this far without the entire civilization destroying itself due to her radiant beauty.
