Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
"Ah, that, how you say, hits the spot, oui!" Aroden nods as he is revitalized, looking over the blank patches of skin that had once been bruised and burned. Shouldering his bag, he asks Ezren, "So, where is this collector you know?"
Spoiler: OOC
Show
Aroden's gonna find a merchant to sell the falchion to and sell Clanky to the collector Ezren mentioned.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
"My contact," says Ezren, "I'll take the parts and sell them and return your proceeds."
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Aroden shrugs, muttering, "Fair enough," before dumping the parts out of his bag and onto the table.
Turning to the door, he calls back, "On the morrow then!"
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
The next day .... you know Ezren is out hocking the Clanky parts.
Do the rest of you have any plans, or wait until evening when he returns?

Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar
Grathar tries to go shopping during the day.
Spoiler
Show
Grathar's shopping list:
- Healer's kit (50 gp)
- Potion of cure light -(if available 50gp)
- Belt pouch, (1gp)
He can afford these items even with out any of the split treasure. (10 pp 1 gp)
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar purchases gear as above, getting the potion from the temple (they won't always be in stock).
Ezren sells the goblin falchion and Clanky parts.
Since the only item is the wand, do you want to hold off on a treasure divvy, or do you want to do the divvy for the cash-poor among you?
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar
"We should probably split the proceeds now evenly and just consider the wand party property with Walter holding it for now since only he can use it. Anyone disagree?"
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Reiko makes a gesture of agreement with Grathar.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Aroden throws up his hands and shrugs, "Aye, sounds bien to me!"
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
"Actually, before we begin," says Reiko. "I recommend an additional share as a 'party share' for shared expenses. Does that make sense?"
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar
Grathar nods. "Seems reasonable."
Spoiler
Show
Grathar will move his potion of cure light wounds to his belt pouch (if it will fit) for easier access.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Everyone gets 64 gp, with the share and leftover (4 gp) to the party share.
Which is enough for Walter to now carry a medium load.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Aroden grins as he's handed his share, quickly slipping it into his bag. Tipping his cap, he declares, "Well, I'll see you at the gates, then!"
Spoiler: OOC
Show
He's going to buy a Bec de Corbin if he can find one, or a Bardiche if he can't. :p

Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar
Grathar takes his share of the coins. "I'll be there at the appointed time. I'm ready to go back when you guys are." Grathar says.

One the day of the next foray, does anyone do anything different, or leave anything behind in their rooms?
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
The party gathers their things the next day and get back to the towering ruins of the Emerald Spire. Do you pick up where you left off, or go a different way?
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar
"I was thinking we should return to that room in the north with the trap that we sprung. We never finished searching there and doubt anything worthwhile is there. Then, maybe we can swing back to that room with the mage and 'Clanky' and continue our search." Grathar says.
Grathar keeps an eye out until they are ready to head in, waiting for the others to light their lights.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Aroden shrugs, "Fine by me, mouisser!"
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
The party enters, this time with Reiko burning a torch of her own.
From this area, now what?

The party does a two-minute search of the rubble, but doesn't find anything.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Aroden scratches his head, "Well, there was another door back in Mouisser Clank's room, no? As good a place as any to continue, I think. Might be more little buggers scurrying about there."
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar
Grathar nods at Aroden. "Just be mindful of the hallway to the south we pass on the way there, its not cleared yet. Did any one need to cast any spells before we get into trouble?" Grathar asks.
Grathar leads the way back to large room they found with the mage. He keeps an eye out for any trouble or ambushes.
Spoiler

Move back to the room labeled A10 taking the route through A4, through the double doors, through A6.

Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
"No spells here, my friend!" Aroden assures as he follows after Grathar.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar leads the party back to the room where the goblin caster fell ... his body is still there. You had never actually taken a good look at the room itself. This curving room is a good-sized kitchen, complete with decaying tables, cupboards, and bins. One newer table has what seems like a child’s laboratory set up, with broken cups standing in for beakers.
-
Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
"Huh, very quaint," Aroden mutters as he looks around the rotted kitchen. Gripping the haft of his polearm, he turns his attention to the door, and asks, "So, who wants to be first this time?"
Spoiler: OOC
Show
Aroden will go first if no one else wants to, otherwise he'll position himself to go second, wielding his bec de corbin.

Re: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon [IC]
Grathar
"The kitchen is now closed." Grathar announces quietly.
"I'll take point. Just don't bash me with that crazy thing." Grathar says.
Grathar gives the door to the south another search, looking for any traps.
Spoiler
Show
If he doesn't find any traps he'll open the door.

Grathar
Grathar moves into the 'room' to make room for others.
