A dude named Vincent might.

Matt will go back in time, marry an elf girl, and give birth to Matthew the hero!!

Ferengi think so.

Well, this is new. Not the weirdest thing I've heard, but new.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 4 (4 Times The Mayhem!)
I'd like to remind everyone this comic is about Coffee's world, not Water-Smurf's.
Though there's Tiasal...
Oh, never mind. Forget I said anything. :smalltongue:

Ferengi are aliens from Star Trek.

Re: Murphy's Law 4 (4 Times The Mayhem!)
*Sigh* That's a side effect because elven ears are so full of nerve endings. Half-elves have fewer nerve endings, but their ears are still extremely sensitive. Even Matt knows better than to yank on an elf's ear, because the pain from just that is equivalent to a kick in the crotch, which is what that elf would do in response.
Also, I was the one who mentioned that idea to Water-Smurf.

Re: Murphy's Law 4 (4 Times The Mayhem!)
It's actually supported in one of the Harper series novels, I don't remember which. The protagonist chick is trying to squick some guy out by mentioning that elves really like it when you rub the tips of their ears.

Maybe. :smalltongue:
Fun Fact: An alternate title I was considering for this strip was, "Legends Never Die"
And I guess the thing is just like in the real world, once I created these characters, I doomed them to death. They're not going to live forever. Sure, in 1830 A.A., they're in the prime of their life, but by 2371 A.A.? Even Tinder would probably be dead and gone.
But in Aequar, they'll be remembered forever.

Actually, according to my copy of the Dragonomicon, green dragons can live as long as 2,300 years. Assuming he is a young adult right now, he'd only be like 600-700 by 2371.

Dragons live to be about 1000, tops, in Aequar. Elves live to be about 450-ish while half-elves live to be about 180-200.

You are about to enter a zone where the normal laws and norms of Dungeons and Dragons do not apply. It is called... The Coffee Zone. :smallcool:

Re: Murphy's Law 4 (4 Times The Mayhem!)
Well, yes, but I was doing a Twilight Zone spoof. :smalltongue:
So Coffee, any plans for starting your own site or anything at some point?

Possibly way in the future, when I have more fans, more time, more knowledge of how to do such things, and more money.
And I may post a homebrewed Aequar in a couple of months on the board.

Re: Murphy's Law 4 (4 Times The Mayhem!)
Ooh, the campaign setting? If anyone's interested, I'd like to test it out in a play-by-post game.

Yeah, well, however tough they have it, they live in a world of magic. They'll find a way.

It won't happen for at least a few months. Plot needs to happen first and I want to join in too.

Oh, ok. But even then wouldn't he still be alive? I was under the impression he's still pretty young?

I didn't say definitely.

Re: Murphy's Law 4 (4 Times The Mayhem!)
Hey coffe, I was thinking about starting my own webcomic, and I was wondering how do you illustrate yours, because when I make webcomic strips, I can't get the characters right and they look diffrent in nearly every panel.

Well, what I do is that on the page where I make the comic I have standard templates. I have templates of each character and of small things that are difficult for me to make standard every time, like the question mark eyebrows, Matt's neutral expression, some types of weaponry, colors for backgrounds, and so forth. When i make the comic, I copy and paste the character templates and then edit them: Make them move by adjusting the legs and arms, rotate them, change their expressions, etcetera.

Yup, that's basicallpretty much how it works. I use the same basic character models for my entire comic. :smalltongue::smallbiggrin:
But, Maxios, I recommend that you spend several days on your opening comic. The first comic is something that can take ages to get right.

Since we're asking questions on the process... What program do you use for the comic Coffee?
