Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
I know it's probably obvious but who is DLB?
I'm fine with being Want (as long as you make me really stroppy) and Firedrake will be Ignorance whether he wants too or not.
Also are we gonna do it like fff with everyone posting or are we gonna choose one person to do it all.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
I actually don't think Green-shirt Q would work well as Jacob Marley. If I remember correctly, Marley was a douchebag bad guy. I don't think that fits "GSQ".
Who was the other choice? The guy who was going to be Marley for Lying? I think that could work well enough for Q too.

Cause it's a new page:
A ? by the name indicates that they haven't agreed to it yet.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
@Nameless: 1. You kill vampire cat. 2. Zombie cat shows up. 3. You hit it, Lich cat shows up, vampire cat awakes. 4. Another Zmbie shows up, Lich hit you. 5. Cats kill you. 6. Cats play with your clothes and legs.
@Q: Here's you as Scrooge

I must say that i don't really picture scrooge having a beard. This is my picture of what he looks like. Anyone else seen this movie?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Apologies in advance:
I only have paint and Inkscape. The latter isn't very good at this kind of stuff and the former isn't very good at all. Paint's better for this, though.

*shrug* I don't know, I'm not familiar with all of the characters.

I've seen the movie version with Muppets in it. Does that count?
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
That is from the muppets movie.
Also, why would scrooge have PJs that look like that?

I don't know.
Turns out I didn't save these templates, by the way.
[EDIT] Maybe he's a trekie?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
The charity dudes will be fine for me. However, Lpenguin would be a better pick than Tvor the other half of Kpen's charity-collecting duo.
Also, I'm not too sure about Lying as the ghost of Christmas past. I just don't see him as a glowing head baby.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Is Keveak still a ghost? It's important cause I just made a comic relating to him being a ghost.

I've always loved the Patrick Stewart version, which also has no beard.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Yeah, he's a ghost that may or may not eat fries and that wears a hat somehow.
@/\; he also has no hair on his head. :smalltongue:

I'm also fairly certain we can take some liberties with representation given that we're populating this performance with the most widely varied selection of people most of us have ever seen.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Ah. I always interpreted it as a glowing head baby.
Although the movie had the ghost be a woman and a theater production I saw of it had the ghost be a dude in a nice white suit.
EDIT: Just realized... Lying has boobies!:smalltongue:
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
The ghost is referred to in the novel as "it", so Lying isn't excluded based on gender. We could have Lying child sized when he first appears, but quickly rectify his error.:smalltongue:

Or we could switch intermittently between his adult form and his Igon form.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Dibs on Diskord being Old Joe...
(or maybe Zero..... ill make templates for both and decide on who looks cooler... probs Diskord)
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Yeah, but he's described as "like a child: yet not so like a child as like an old man, viewed through some supernatural medium, which gave him the appearance of having receded from the view, and being diminished to a child's proportions."
Also: "Its hair, which hung about its neck and down its back, was white as if with age; and yet the face had not a wrinkle in it, and the tenderest bloom was on the skin. It held a branch of fresh green holly in its hand; and, in singular contradiction of that wintry emblem, had its dress trimmed with summer flowers. But the strangest thing about it was, that from the crown of its head there sprung a bright clear jet of light, by which all this was visible; and which was doubtless the occasion of its using, in its duller moments, a great extinguisher for a cap, which it now held under its arm."
So you might need to make a new version of Lying for this.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
5 pages talking about who is what in A Christmas Carol?!
Can't say I disapprove.
Anyways, while Nameless definitely looks like the Ghost of CF, I think I fit the roll of intimidating ominous figure a bit more uniformly. :smallwink:

This.
Very much this.
I can't imagine Nameless as the silent spectre that is the Ghost of Christmas Future.
Now, as the jolly Ghost of Christmas Present...

We really need to get this all sorted out.
