Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
ok, i have a request for you fine people!
a skinny psiforged in a red toga-like thing, kinda like a combination of the Inevitable from the 3.5 MM and the psiforged from Magic Of Eberron, the biggest thing i'd like added is for the crystals on his head to be expanded to a crown made of vertical crystal spikes.

Requests.
I am not sure if two avatars could be requested, but here it goes.
The reason why I want two avatars is because we're running a game right now, and a friend of mine will print mobs, characters, icons in general for the grid, and custom images are allowed, so having an OotS-like character would be so awesome (I damn love the comic).
For the first avatar, I would like an OotS avatar that looks like this spoilered sample.
For the record, she's a Grey Elven Wizard with a red eye and a green eye, has an Arcane Mark on her forehead. She does not have to be holding the spellbook, but it would be cooler if she did. As for the pose, if it's too complicated to resemble that from the image, just facing forward would be okay, really really thanks.
The second avatar is that of a character I used to have. This is a very special request, and I don't know if it could be fulfilled, however I really love that character and I would love her to be my forum avatar.
Race: Changeling.
Gender: N/A.
Class: Sorcerer.
Equipment: No armor, wearing a one-piece a robe. Wielding a purple-emanating-aura Talenta Sharrash on her left hand, casting on the right (black spell). Wearing brown boots.
Features: She (even being a changeling, the character enjoys having female features on her true form) has black devil wings larger than her size. Expresionless.
Hair Color: White.
Pweaaaaaaseeeeee.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Hey guys, posting a request, and thank you for all your work.
This is my new character in a gestalt game we're going to be running. Very excited about him!
Gender: Male
Race: Ratfolk (this is the big one)
Class: Wizard/Alchemist
Equipment: Wears a ratty suit jacket or blazer (that goes to his knees cause he's a short little rat), a potion bandolier across his chest, a small leather case at his side for components, a belt, and a backpack. No pants, shoes, or other clothes.
Fur color: Dark gray
Pose/other: For body type I think of Reepicheep in the old Narnia drawings, but with no sword and a rat's tail instead of a mouse's. He's most comfortable walking on all fours, but stands up to cast spells and when trying to look dignified. For the avatar I envision him standing up, spellbook open in one hand/front paw, OOTS-style magic smoke pouring from the other as if casting.
Since this is OOTS feel free to omit any fine details that would take too much work to fit in there.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Could I get a:
Male Kobold, orange
Smiling victoriously
No preference on class/equipment
Standing near two severed baboon heads to show that he just killed Demogorgon?

For my part I'm super extra curious to see how two different artists approach the same little Grippli.

New request: Gladiator the Warforged
Race: Warforged
Notable features:
1. His left hand is a hand crossbow. probably going to be tricky to do in OOTS style, but I have faith in the forums.
2. A dent in/large scratch on the right side of his head. He experienced considerable head trauma at the end off his gladiatorial career.
3. A sword in his right had. Think scimitar/rapier. In DnD terms, it's a finessable scimitar/slashing rapier :P
4. A second version with faint glow. Currently, he isn't, but as the campaign progresses, his body is going to be enchanted in place of him acquiring magical items.
Thank you in advance, and rewards will be given in the form of amusing images from the internet that i take no credit for. That, or compliments of requested levels of fake/unreliability.
First Repost. Any takers? I won an internet recently that I can use as payment :smalltongue:

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
Hello! I was wondering if anyone could make me a doctor who themed avatar, in this case, a basic dalek. It should be sitting in a neutral position, with its gunstick and plunger pointed forth. It should be tilted slightly to the front as is shown in the example picture, but if this is a problem, you may position it in a different manner. Here is a reference picture:

If you're okay with receiving two avatars, and Savannah is okay with some competition, then I'm okay with it too—I've spent more than a little time on this already.
By the way, here is what I created:
Ajar the Grippli Bard

http://imageshack.com/a/img546/8418/1v3z.png
As you can see, my solution to the problem of the huge, space-greedy Glidewing was putting it in the background, and using one of your reference pics as inspiration for the pose and location. I hope I didn't mess up the depth of field too badly and that the Glidewing is recognizable.

I like it! Very succinct solution.
And I am more than okay receiving two avatars. And Savannah had no issue with some competition.
I look forward to seeing the end result of the faceoff.

I might be able to do this one.
I don't think I can do both the hoard and the d20, though. There's simply not enough space.

Re: Request an Oots Style Avatar XXIII
I've decided against my hale elven knight. I want a dragonborn in armor with a big two handed sword. His scales are a pale blue, almost white to shownhis affinity in the neverwinter setting. He's a Blackguard fallen from his Paladin-ship, so he can look angry or evil, though he's more or less neutral. His eyes should be red or some other contrasting color.

Thanks! I've always been fond of drawing animals as a kid; I guess that shone through?
Oh, and um, the whiskers—it was supposed to be a stylistic effect. I'm looking at it again now, and it's starting to seem a bit silly...oh dear... :smalleek:
