Also, I have submitted a new Circle of Assassins game. Perhaps... this will be good? :smallconfused:

I'm going to change my scheduled game to Guild Wars Ankh-Morpork WW, because I'm on a Discworld kick ATM.

Ah nice. I'm been pondering the possibility of a Discworld WW for a while.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
So I've had an idea for a new game that I call Shield: Civil War. Based upon the events in season 1 of Agents of Shield, the objective is total elimination of the other side. I'll need help developing the rest of the rules but right now the key things is: Everyone is either Hydra or Shield. The key mechanic is skirmishing. Basically, the top five voted players are matched up - The dominate faction wins and which ever players are on the losing faction is eliminated. The winning faction players then have their cover blown and cannot be voted for again. The game ends whenever one faction is eliminated, or all covers are blown - the side with the most remaining players wins.
That's the basics, as I said, I'd be interested in help fleshing it out. Does this seem like something people would be interested in playing?

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
What do people do after their cover is blown? Are there just five people effectively eliminated every round?
-
Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Cover blown means you can still vote, you just can't be voted for. And no, 5 players aren't eliminated - if it's 3-2 or 4-1, the minority is eliminated. If everyone is part of the same faction - nothing happens, no cover is blown.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
What happens if there are less than 5 eligible people for the skirmish? Does the smallest side just lose then? It actually seems unlikely it would be possible to achieve complete elimination of one side.
-
Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Less than 5 still works - it doesn't actually have to be 5 all the time...
-
Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I'll have a game up, soon.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Avast, lubbers! Thar be a new game in town!

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Mutineer's Werewolf will be recruiting until 12:00 PM EST on Saturday. I'm hoping to get a couple more players. 14 is a weird number. 15 is nice, it's divisible by 5. And 16 is a nice square number. 17 has a history on this forum.
But at this rate, this is the smallest game I've ever run.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Well I could always play multiple roles if that would help. :smalltongue:

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Activity has been very down on this forum.
Maybe you could play a wolf and a villager, and bandwagon against yourself, or two wolves and bandwagon with yourself.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Perhaps we can move this discussion about playing with ourselves to a more appropriate setting.

You do mean the Pub, right?
Also, Salem WW trials submitted for approval.
Am I supposed to PM Haruki now?

Yes, PM Haruki now.

You could try to Haruki PM instead. Don't know how well that'd work though.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Looky Looky! A game that starts in like two weeks or some such!
-
Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I haven't really needed to advertise just to get 10 players before but hey...
Here is a tiny 10 person game game that is looking for just one more player. Unique game rules.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Glad to see you got your tenth player. I looked, but I couldn't play.
Also, I have nabbed the 7th of Jun time slot. I don't know what I'll be running, but I'll be using classic-like rules.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Well, then. Given the response, please schedule Phantom of the Opera Werewolf VIII:In Space! for the soonest available spot.
-
Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
You've been scheduled to start somewhere between May 10th to the 23rd.
-
Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I need a replacement for Mutineer's Werewolf.

Do you still need someone? And do you need them right away or in the near future? I can join, but it might take me a day or two to be able to get all caught up and be active.

I'd like to lay claim to the June 21st spot on the schedule if that's ok. If Core Component isn't done around then, I'll happy swap places with whoever has the following spot on the schedule at the time.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Are we in a position where non-WW games need a space on the schedule nowadays?
I'd like to try a Fatbelly Eating Contest again sometime soon, not WW but more a traditional eating contest with tweaked rules from the second game...what, eight years ago now?! Jeez...
I'd plan for it to be something akin to the second Fatbelly here, with pass, steal, and special ability mechanics, though I imagine there'll be far fewer players.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I think we are? Outside of things like CoA games and the like? I dunno. I wouldn't know how to classify what I'm planning on running next as anyhow.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I don't remember RAF or Avalon being scheduled. As long as it's not WW, you don't need to schedule it, I think.
