Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
No one is certain where the race came from. But they reproduce by implanting larvae into the brains of humanoids. (and also Ropers, but those are barely even second-class citizens)

AFAICT, those aren't related to the illithids.

I'm not a very creative person- not in the context of making up brand new demotivators, anyway. But all this talk of aberrations and such got me looking on Google and I thought these two went really well together.

No, but chuul do get implanted with illithid larva too from time to time. The resulting creature is called an uchuulon or slime chuul.

I meant as in they're showing up. Because the person before had said they couldn't see them.

I've got three separate gifs I want stacked on each other and computer access is currently an old, cheap Android tablet. Website seemed the best option and my Google-fu isn't coming up with anything.

I wanted to buy issues of the comic that the "Insanity" one is from, but no comic stores nearby had it, and now I can't remember the name of the source material :frown:

As someone who was a cart pusher for a time, let me tell you, Chaotic Good is actually the most evil of them. Because then you have to go in, take ten minutes to pull out all the carts individually and stick them together, then take them inside.

As someone who owns a store anything below Good is evil. Do you know how much those carts cost? It blew my mind when I found out.

To be fair, Chaotic Neutral and Neutral Evil both seems to still be in the parking lot of the store.

Re: D&D Demotivators X: X Never marks the spot
I would probably rearrange a couple of them, but I appreciate the pictures just from shopping too much.

I...actually strongly disagree with those characterizations.
The Lawful alignments would all return them to a designated area for the proper store. LG would be the most likely to return it, neatly, to the corral, while LN and LE would simply make sure it was in an appropriate place. LE might also maliciously make it hard on the employee by doing that CG is said to do here and returning it technically correctly but in a messy way.
Neutral Good is the most likely to return it to the store inside, because that would be the kindest and most helpful thing to do, and NG is the sort that goes for that kind of "extra mile" generosity. True Neutral will leave it in a corral if convenient, and just in a parking space if inconvenient. NE will leave it wherever is easiest, or most amusingly malicious. CG probably leaves them in a corral, but might make a game of collecting all the strays that less-good alignments left lying about and sending them into the store. It really depends on their mood. CN and CE leave them wherever, with CE tending towards malicious amusement in his placement.

I think the most unusual place any of the carts from the store I work at have ended up is at the bottom of a flooding river. I'm not sure if it was placed there deliberately, but that should definitely be the CE standard.
