Well, the answer should be covalent, as far as I can tell. But that doesn't fit. Banana?
What kind of class uses chemistry crossword puzzles?

Hammer of Thor, or something like that, right?
Edit: Hammer of the Gods

Unless there shouldn't be an 's' at the start.
Scan the puzzle and post the picture so we can see it. :smallwink:

Shared bond. That "n" may be wrong.

Right.
Here's the Atlantean Crossword:

They share ONE pair of electrons.
One of the answers is Mixture
One single paired bond.
One of the answers is Compound

No. One pair of two electrons, shared between two atoms. Normal covalent bonding.
The word 'kind' is deceptive. It's really more of a numbering adjective.

I'm amused that he did get "double". :smallwink:

Well now I want to stab this teacher. D= That just...WHY!?
Also, yes, Double is there. Single I guess makes sense because of that, but double itself doesn't make sense. @_@; I just...gah, CONFUSION.

My High School mantra: "My job is to give the answer the teacher is looking for, regardless of what the correct answer may be, or even if the question makes any sense."

Iust come back from my first movie night of the term. At the expense of not finishing my translation or starting my reading.
But the film we saw was Amazing Grace.
It allows me to say this sentence: Dumbledore is an excellent MP.
A good film, lovely music, and historically accurate enough that neither History Friend nor I (though I was almost two hundred years (or forty) out of my usual historical comfort zone) noticed anything too anachronistic.
We weren't certain about the kiwis though. By c. 1780 were there kiwi fruit in Britland?
We should be having another on Saturday. Penguin themed perhaps.

You can't go wrong with penguins.

Re: Archonic's Archaic Acronymical Antidisestablishmentarianism Random banter 148
Curly, save me! I have a 9AM seminar tomorrow. For TWO HOURS.
AND I don't have my lang-lecture buddy to save me. Bad times.
Then again, today has been neat! I've been nicknamed 'troubs' (short for 'troubadour') and read interesting graffiti. "To make a beast of oneself is to forget the pain of being a man" in the men's loos. I added some of my own, as well.
Also, first rehearsal for the play! And some other stuff.
The phonetic alphabet is CONFUSING and SCARY.
Oh, and Ultimate Frisbee in massive clompy boots is really not any fun. Well, it is, but your legs DIE OF EXHAUSTION. Fencing last night and walking all around Brighton previously may not have helped.

I heard the cry of a distressed ENglish student! I came as soon as I heard.
WHat's the problem exactly?
I envy your fencing ability though. And the fancy nickname.

Phonetics are scary. And, also, I'm annoyed by the 9AM start. And the two 2-hour seminars tomorrow.
I have to take a heavy, heavy book. And also go through my No Exit script (but I'm only in it for 15 pages, so score)

I've had 8 AM math classes... and one day we had to do it at 7 because the teacher would not be able to come. everyone was asleep. eventually, school decided not to do it again.
There's just no point in having classes so early.

Re: Archonic's Archaic Acronymical Antidisestablishmentarianism Random banter 148
Yikes, I've never had classes that early. In all my schooling, I've never even heard of a class that starts before 9AM...:smalleek:
