[Infirmary Path > Infirmary]
Jamie comes running back out.
"Mom's ready," she tells Vidalia - with a hint of a blush - as she goes to assist in helping Marty down the path and into the Infirmary proper!
Main Cabin
Marley walks into the main cabin.
"Hello? Any Applehills in here?"
Infirmary
Marty tries to just walk ahead of Jamie. He's no cripple. He walks in the infirmary, leaving the others behind. He speaks out, H-Hello? Anyone h-here?
Main Cabin
"In the kitchen!" Tito calls, in answer to Marley.
Path to Infirmary
So, uh, what are your names? Vidalia asks, looking at all three of them. Mine's Vidalia. I'm a long time missing member.

There's some sand on it. She must have accidently kicked some on when she rolled over or something. Who knows.
Yeah. You'll probably need some water-wings. Do you have some?
((DEADTIME))

Reinholdt sighs.
"There's some in the lake house." Reinholdt says, before going to get them and come back with them.
Main Cabin
Marley walks over into the kitchen.
"Hello."
Marley sticks out his free hand, the other one holding onto his cane.
"I'm Ebenezer Marley, but most people call me Marley."
Main Cabin
"Hello, Mr Marley. I'm Tito Applehill." Tito says. He's standing on a stool so he can reach the stove, but he offers a hand to briefly shake Marley's. He has a wary look in his eyes though.
Infirmary
Marty stands in the door warily. Anyone h-h-here?
Main Cabin
Please, he wouldn't have much to fear from Marley. Marley's too filmsy to be much of a threat himself.
"I've heard great things about your family's cooking. Would you mind teaching me?"
Marley does try to be useful, but he tends to get hurt when his projects go a bit awry.
Main Cabin
"You like to cook?" Tito perks up. This is definitely something he enjoys talking about. "I'm frying potatoes now. You want to use the red skinned potatoes for this if you have them. And slice them really thin...." He'll go on in far more detail than his player can relate.
Main Cabin
"Yeah, it's one of the things that I'm good at."
Your'e more okay at it, Marley, but that's better than some people. Marley continues to listen to the advice on cooking.
Main Cabin
Tito is making a HUGE batch of pan-fried potatoes, because there are never enough when you make pan-fried potatoes - the more so when you're making them in a campground full of dozens of people. He helps himself as they cook, burning his fingers a little because they're best when they're hot. "If you get that big skillet hanging on the wall, you can work on them too! I like to put onions in right at the end, because that adds a really nice flavour. Or you can sprinkle grated cheese over it. There are so many ways you can make pan-fried potatoes perfect!"
Main Cabin
"Okay then."
Marley lets go of his cane, and washes up while his cane hops over to get the big skillet for him. Not a good idea to cook with dirty hands.
Main Cabin
Cooking happens!
Marley will see an enchanted knife busily paring and slicing potatoes. It was one of the few luxury items that the Applehills purchased with their share of their reparations from the slavers.
Other people in the camp might start to smell yumminess from the Main Cabin.
[Outside the Infirmary]
"I'm Jamie," the Magical Girl tells Vidalia, curtseying properly. "Jamie Misaki Catherine Druid. It's good to meet you, Miss Vidalia."

[Inside the Infirmary]
Quinn can be found here, already having medical equipment out and ready, the brunette - and clearly nine months pregnant - paladin giving Marty a concerned look! "Jamie said you were coming - come, get in the bed and let me give you a looking over to see what's wrong."
Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman is out in full force.
Inside Infirmary
Marty sighs and gets onto a nearby cot. He drags his foot stiffly on his bed. He stutters out, W-well...I'm s-sent h-h-here because of V-Viadalia....she wouldn't l-let me leave if I didn't ch-check my f-f-foot....Please. Be gentle...I've had my wound for years...G-good l-luck getting th-that boot off...
Quinn chuckles softly, and takes a deep breath before muttering a small spell, her fingers twitching in the casting motion.
If successful, it might very well cause the boot to slide right off easily and painlessly.
Infirmary
The boot slides off as various clasps open. Marty winces. His foot and leg leading halfway to his knee are covered in tight bandages. P-please be g-gentle...
[Infirmary]
"Trust me." Quinn's voice is soothing and melodic. "I know what I'm doing."
And, without the slightest move of her hands, the bandgages slowly, oh so slowly, might well start unraveling.
Unless of course, there's something to block telekinesis, or something else of that sort.
Infirmary-Cot
Well, the bandages start to unwind a little. Dr. Quinn might see that Marty skin going from his foot up halfway to his thigh is blackened and scarred beyond healing. He doesn't have much of a foot, more of a stump on the end. It's obvious he was very severely burned, but it doesn't seem that the foot got healing for days. It's a very gruesome wound. Which is probably why Marty doesn't like showing it to anyone. (Oh the bad things other PC's will do to yours. :smalltongue:) Marty noticeably tenses when the bandages unroll. It's a nasty sight. Marty stutters out, "P-Please! J-just let it b-b-be! I can't h-heal i-it....No magic w-w-works on m-me.... Marty tries to get up and wrap the bandages up around his leg again in a fit. It's obvious he doesn't want to be here and will try to run out. Though he is awfully weak and slowed by the foot and the sloppy rewinding of magic. Marty can be easily stopped by Quinn.

While Melody waits for Reinholdt to return, she shakes the sand off her towel, and lays it back down. She then head down to the lake and sticks her toe in the water. Not too bad. She slowly walks deeper in and swims a little while waiting.
[Outside the Infirmary]
Yes, nice to meet you as well. she says as she follows Marty inside. She'll wait by the entrance. He's not leaving until he's been treated.
Infirmary-Cot
If he gets past Quinn, he'll see Vidalia sitting comfortably by the door, reading a gardening magazine.
[Andy's Room 2]
Vincent, growing up usually means losing you innocence. Do you remember when Dr. WhatsHisName made you think Mister Dipsnig was you dad, and that I wasn't a half-ghost? I think that's what Mister Andy is referring to. Except this time it'll be a natural thing, not an evil sciency thing.
[Rowan Cabin]
Sophie rocks Scylla gently in her arms, glancing after Keo as she leaves. They do look unusual, but they behave like all kids everywhere. And I can tell that Julie is very happy with them.
[Rowan Cabin]
Eric grins, "I can tell you, I'm not exactly upset about having them myself." he looks at Scylla and just has this wonderful look of contentment on his face, "There's nothing quite like being a parent."
Rowan Cabin
Some time later, Kate rushes up to Rowan Cabin. Kids... and Eric is back? She's embarrassed that she missed it! She knocks on the door. She is nervous, that odd nervous that you have for no reason and therefore can't really logic yourself out of.

There's some awkward amount of time where Rein has to blow the silly flotation things up and get them on.
But once that's done, he moves into the water after Melody.
[Andy's Cabin 2]
"You think I might forget you're a ghost again?" Vincent asks Caroline.
That would be horrible!
[Andy's Cabin 2]
"Oh. Ummm... most of those are natural parts of the adventuring anyways. We'd just... be taking a shortcut to them I guess. So we'd still need to adventure." Vincent explains.
For levels. And money. And the really twisted, ultra confusing plotline.

Reinholdt is confused and appreciative at the same time. Or perhaps less confused, and more yearning.
Anyways, he hasn't forgotten too much from their last session and he's always been a good student. After a few attempts and some work, it does seem he can at least stay up on his now, even if he still needs to work on the intermediate stuff.
