Huh. I never took McCarthy for a Cold Warrior.
Wait...
Seriously though, writers, please keep the redbaiting out of pony. Pretty please?

Re: My Little Pony LXXXI: All Of These Ponies Are Crazy!
As we leave Maneas Tirith for the week, it has reached a population of 100 people and is sort of stable in population turnover. Now with sheep and cattle, the trading posts - both of them - are filled with warm furs to trade for seeds and fruit allowing the citizens to have potatoes, plums and pumpkins to supplement their diets as well as chickens. They have one of every building at last, and the settlement has expanded into two market places of either side of the river. Now there should be enough labour to start to expand further...
And thus I must away, ere break of day.
Acting Master Star-Sergeant Penelope Trouble SiuiS-Shield, you are in charge!
(I suggest using Spit-Up attack on Tiki, as that will not only put the fire out but be remarkably unpleasant and also has the additional advantage that all babies learn that attack at level 1...)
As for the rest of you...
*makes "I'm watching you" gesture*
... One week.

I attribute the energy of the previous one to the Apples to the Core song they watched. When you have the entire room clapping along to the beat, the energy levels are definitely over... a lot.

The end is incredible. He figures out he has to kill the very concept of groundhog day to escape and delves into the Astral Realm to fight it at it's source with his flaming katana.

I'm just gonna blame there only being two builds, their charmset being full of speedbumps, and their themes being nonexistent, and call it a day
Some splats have outcome-based moves; "Activate this charm and you win the challenge."
Some splats have effects-based moves; "Activate this charm and you turn into an animal."
Lunars are stuck in the second group because the effect of 'become an animal' doesn't really compare to 'win the challenge' and the book has no idea what the outcomes they want to create are. Ergo, bad game design.
Do everything using Apocalypse World.

all the ponythread members, one who even Rater and Tiki and Thanqol could not question the authority of... An individual who could prove they could handle any pony, regardless of power and beat them at their own game and in doing so, not merelty prevent, but
obiviate any attempts at resistance.
I thought about it long and hard and then thought... "Hang on, it's been a while since I last demonstrated my ability to not just go outside the box and but swipe the box out from under everypony: why I don't I just
cheat?"
And so the solution is obvious: I'm leaving
Penelope in charge of the thread while I'm away!
Yes, she's young, but I think she can handle the responsibilty - and all of you! After all, she's
proved more than a match for any alicorn already, hasn't she?
I am a genius!
But we all already knew that, didn't we?
Oy, they really do grow up so fast.
