Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Paladins need one.
For Turn Undead, at least.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
According to the d20 SRD website, only clerics and paladins need a holy symbol, as the focus for their spells and as a tool for turning undead. Druids don't, which makes sense, since holiness comes from religions (and deities); nature isn't holy.
I wonder how Janine reacted when she learned Radic was pregnant with Lloyd's child... :smallamused:

Jealousy! Yes, jealousy...
Will drive you (echos)
MAD!

A kiss or a hug to whoever gets the reference.
...though I give the latter out all the time, and the former aren't THAT difficult...

What is Janine doing in Buenos Aires?
Also, I don't think she'd mind if someone had taken Lloyd's place as Hottie of the Week at the time.

as a writer of sorts, this is painfully true.

Water-Smurf knows the half of it. She helped me get my scattered threads of ideas in order. :smallamused:
Let's just say that if I have at least one character featured on this page, I will consider it a success.

Oh. Well then. That's good.
Janine: ...I don't know know whether to slap you for stealing Lloyd from me or congratulate you for finally getting some.
Matthew Deathwish Silver: Catfight! Catfight!
...Can it be Write(Int)?

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
I don't know which stat it'd be. Intelligence is useful, cause Knowledge helps. Wisdom is important, cause good writers *know what's happening next. And Charisma is good cause willpower drives creation.

Oh, dear. That certainly is a bad sign ...for your characters I mean.
Us readers on the other hand.:smallamused:

Druids need Mistletoe or Holly to cast their spells.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Radic chose holly over mistletoe for obvious reasons.

no kidding. of the two stories i'm currently writeing, both are probibly gunna end up with the main charicter dead XD
@ Coffie: i'm preity sure (in pathfinder at least) ALL deistys have a favored weapon, wich there clerics and pallys are immidiatly profficient with. this is regardless of wether or not they have the war domain.
so if you have an Elvin godess of the home, and her favored weapon is the Elvin curve blade? your Dwarven cleric can now use Elvin curve blades.

I was suprised that you quoted me in the comic, coffee.

I had been looking for a good quote and what you did was perfect.
You know, I really need to do a banner for this. I'll do it after APs.

That's Pathfinder only. In vanilla, the War domain grants proficiency with the deity's weapon of choice. Nevertheless, all deity's have a weapon of choice which determines the appearance (but not statistics) of the Spiritual Weapon spell.

*wakes up from nap*
*gets on computer*
*yawn* Wait a minute... Yesterday was Friday!
Sorry I'm late to the party, but nicely-drawn if somewhat-anticlimatic update, Coffee. I like that Lloyd can explain himself in the face of what some might consider acting against his class, though, like Radic, I find his "dropped hint" a little annoying. Are half-orc caster guy and halfling barbarian guy going to be featured in the next few strips as well?

Yes, like all other Moulin Rogue songs this was a cover. Sting, I believe.

Huh. For some reason I thought it was Moulin Rouge and then the Police. XD
You want a hug and kiss? ;P

When it's from you, Lix, the answer is always "Always."

(Hugs, kisses)
(Waits for the inevitable 'Get a room!')
(Waits for the almost as inevitable 'Why were you asking Coffee for a self insert, Janine's already in there? :smalltongue:')

Hey guys, take a look!

I'll make the others after APs. How do you add links to these?

Geez, what happened to Matt?
Did destruction rain from the heavens and home in on him like heat seeking missiles or something?
-

Nah. Just another day in the life...

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Poor Matt.
(Goes to comfort)
(In a very NOT PG-13 kind of a way)
