"So why did golems eat your limbs, then? Or was that the others?"

"So why did golems eat your limbs, then? Or was that the others?"
The others... mostly to prove a point.
She sighs, watching a girl learn how to break someone's wrist.
((Would that be as an attack in its own right, a disarming technique that can be applied to do so, or some third thing?))
"I see... Is there any way to get you back to normal, then?"
((Disarming, probably.))
Once I have my arm working and I can get to my lab I'll build me some new limbs.
((How are they practicing? With each other once it's been demonstrated, or is the person teaching them doing so with each one individually?))
"Alright... Is there anything I can do to help you in the meantime?"
((The first option sounds best to me.))
Not really, but thanks.
((That's usually the way it goes, yeah. Though hopefully whoever is teaching them made sure to get the girls to go slowly and not use too much force; that one hurts if it gets done too strongly, even if you don't actually end up with a broken wrist.))
Talina sighs, going to gently hug her.
"Let me know if you need anything, then..."
((They're being careful about it, no worries.))
She hugs back with one arm.
Thanks, Talina...
I owe you a bunch.
((Good.))
"You're welcome.
And I owe you rather a lot for taking care of the girls until I came along, so let's call it even, alright?"
Vo shrugs.
If you wanna put it that way.
Talina shrugs, snuggling against her.
"How would you have put it?"
I say I still owe you, actually.
"What exactly do you say you owe me for, anyway?"
Making it possible for me to talk, giving me my arm back.
Talina frowns slightly.
"You make it sound like there were circumstances under which I wouldn't have done that..."
Not my intention, sorry...
The sorceress smiles softly, going to kiss her cheek.
"Don't worry about it. I didn't mean to make you feel bad, either; I was just wondering why you felt like you owed me for that."
Vo blushes darkly, flustered.
Talina blushes as well, not having intended to make Vo uncomfortable.
"Sorry..."
S'kay.
Um.
It's late... you guys should probably go to bed.
I can keep watch, I don't sleep anyway.
"Alright. But I'm not going to leave you down here with nothing to do all night, or risk you getting silenced before you can do anything about it. Not that I don't trust you, of course, but it's not like you can fight too well with no limbs except for an arm that isn't really properly attached...
I'll take first watch with you, Lenia, and Sherry, then Naera can come down with Marina..."
She proceeds to set up a watch schedule using those with combat and/or magical training, all backed up by two of the people who were practicing earlier.
Vo nods, smiling a little.
Talina smiles as well, going around to let everyone know what their place in the watch cycle is.
And so the schedule is set up!
Vo leans against Talina, not saying anything.
Talina smiles, going to slip an arm around her, apparently perfectly content to simply enjoy her presence for the moment.
Vo is happy to sit there with her as well; the other girls seem pretty content as well.
Eventually, while they wait, Talina begins to mix various ingredients, stopping just before the catalyst that would trigger the various spells, so that she has them ready should the need arise.
Vo just waits and watches; the other girls try to keep awake.
Lenia (or Marina, if she or Sherry would have requested that they share the watch) and Sherry may find a pair of bottles being wafted into each of their laps; should they drink them, they'll find that the first makes them considerably more alert, while the second improves their nightvision.
They drink as I deadtime for the night.
