Didn't they make some of them stop existing at some point as well?
I seem to have picked up this idea from somewhere.
I haven't played a game of pokemon since the original american release, so...

Yep, they threw a few out and then brought them back in and finally threw everything in (Kanto, Johto and Hoen) for Fire Red/Leaf Green.

Re: The Throne of Thufir's Thoroughly Theoretical and Therapeutic Random Banter #116
And then the real question becomes... How many of them are useful to have?
I remember there were maybe 15 out of the original 150 that were even capable of being argued for a competitive team.

No.
Pokemon Ruby is one of my favourite games I've ever played in my life (I'd go as far as to say the best handheld game I've ever played). It's certainly worth buying (though I would go for Emerald if I was to get a 3rd gen game now)
It's just a shame I have no idea where the cartridge for my Ruby edition is. :smallfrown:

Hmmmm, if I continue at my current peice I'll have complete my one thousand word French essay in sixty hours.
Fifty words in three hours folks.

My complete team.
Blastoise (Gyarados is a definite equal here)
Venusaur (Maybe, just maybe use Vileplume/Victreebell)
Zapdos (Raichu just doesn't measure up here and Pidgeot doesn't have the juice I need)
Charizard (All the other fire types suck)
Dragonite (Hmmm, nope, nothing I can think of)
Mewtwo (Alakazam could replace him, but there's a big power difference. Maybe I could use Gengar, but no one else.)
So out of the original 150, I only found use for 13 of them.

There is nothing wrong with having an interest in a very popular japanese video game. :smalltongue:
It is one of those games that has followed me throughout my childhood, it is still with me. Although the TV show is a load of crap.
So now I shall defeat all the naysayers.
GO CHARIZARD!
USE FIRE BLAST!
IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!
THE NAYSAYERS FAINTED!
FRED WINS!
Couldn't resist.

Who are the mad keepers of the sanitarium. Yes, yes, we know.
When we're not napoleon doing a conja-line dance with himself.
In any event... Get back to work! *whip crack*

A lack of nine hundred and forty one words of French; four hours in which to do it in; an inability to download a good, reliable French dictionary for Word and a very good roast dinner.
Also a sweetie craving. And a shower craving. And cat. I want my kitten cat.

Or when we're not Abraham Lincoln fighting George Bush with a lightsaber.
There's a cookie for anyone who gets the reference I just made. There may be a hug too, but that's debatable and optional.

Oh, and make sure your hair is completely dry or you'll have to endure the terrible frazzling sound that happens when straighteners are applied to damp hair. It may not actually be damaging my hair, but it sounds like it is.
Thank you! Having just washed mah hairs (its curled again now, into its usual wafro) i'll wait for it to dry before fialing horribly.:smalltongue:
Also, argh. I have more-hundred words to write about Oceania from 1984.
But I've got to do it in the style of Thomas More (particularly Utopia).
Argh.

Hmm, so apparently I'm now related to Rutskarn and Player_Zero....
How and why did this happen? I am now forced to ask myself such questions.
Aziraphale: Like Olive Oil, you need to get into the kitchen and make yourself a sammich.

Eating is important for survival, it is only overeating that leads to death. It is recommended you eat 3 to 5 regular meals a day to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Protip: you're not crazy. You may have issues, but you are in no way, shape or form, insane.

Sure. You're not hungry. But you WILL be. Food's addictive. Food kills.
It's SCIENTIFICALLY proven.

But he's sexier, and if rumour can be trusted, gets laid with far greater regularity -- for I hear he is quite the rake in the salons of Paris.
