Re: [4e FR] The Five of the Realm - IC
The blinded kobolds and the thrice-cursed dragonborn hear some light chainmail clinking up to them in a run.
"Watch out! Excuse me, sorry..."
The crystal in Petra's headdress lights up with a pinkish hue, and her voice contorts to accommodate the Draconic words as she pushes her way between Infernion and his current sparring partner. She's sure being strangely polite about it.
Once across the wall of fighters, she extends a hand towards Virgil in blessing.
Spoiler
Show
She had to run, so she's granting combat advantage for the opportunity attacks from K2 and DB2 as she moves through Infernion's space... that is, if they take them. She doesn't really seem to consider herself their enemy, but the way she tries to vouch for them depends on how those attacks work out. Maybe I should roll bluff or something?
Remember that DB2's extra -6 is still in place for the opportunity attack, and I think they're both still blinded because I didn't rearrange the initiative on purpose. The -6 won't be there for Mai's attack, so it works out about the same, probably.
Regardless, healing word is happening for a bloodied Virgil. He gets to spend a healing surge and get another [roll0] on top of it. That, and a +5 bonus to all defenses until Petra's next turn is over.

Virgil
Virgil grumbles a word of gratitude towards Petra, though rolls his eyes at the manner of her approach. Feeling rejuvenated, he turns to face the Dragonborn who had caused his earlier pains with a dark gleam to his eyes. The dragon roars at him in challenge and Virgil gladly accepts smirking as a cloud of darkness billows from his cloak. The Dragonborn attempts to keep Virgil in his eyes but as the darkness surrounds it is blinded. Virgil takes his opening and runs his dagger through the space between the creatures armor under its arm, aiming for the heart. Pulling the dagger through and out, Virgil then spins sweeping his dagger low aiming for the knees of the beast.

Re: [4e FR] The Five of the Realm - IC
The Dragonborn takes two more blind swipes before slipping away, the shadow over his eyes fading among at least two other different kinds of shade. Between the angry warlock blocking the way deeper into the cave and the Drow lurking in his own black cloud, he's probably not going to get very far... at least, from what Petra can see.
Meanwhile, Ewin is in dire straits, and the little kobold standing next to her is looking kind of betrayed. She's knocked a little off-balance as a spear just barely deflects off of her magic armor.
She holds up an empty hand, trying to signal K3 to stop. Her face lights up with a glamorous projection of kindness and urgency. "Wait! Be still for just a moment. There is more going on here than you realize."
Petra gestures towards the K1/K2/Ewin group, and the ground beneath them flashes with a flickering green and pink glow, lighting them up harmlessly. Her voice, resonating with whatever magic she's doing, starts to sound more like herself despite speaking Dragonese. "Soon, your tribe is going to need you more than ever, and fighting to the death here is not going to help, even if you succeed."
Her earnest speech is rather unfortunately vague, but it's already too long as it is. If the one next to her doesn't buy it, she's probably going to get a hand full of stabs for her trouble. No matter. She concentrates on another prayer for the paladin's health.
"Ewin," she says in common as her dragonmark does its work, "try not to go too hard on them, alright?"
Spoiler
Show
Before doing anything else, Petra uses her racial power to appear as cute as possible and use the combat advantage for her AoE spell. It also might underscore for K3 that whatever nonsense she's on about, she's not actually bluffing.
Anyway, Petra's standard action is to center a bout of Remorse on K2's square, letting Ewin spend a healing surge that way. This gets him +(2d6+10)[17] HP between her pacifism and her healer's lore, and her dragonmark feat gives him a saving throw on top of that.
Also, Super Remorse Attack! Vs. Will:
K1:(1d20+17)[32] (not including combat advantage, so please add another 2 after that unless they weasel out of it somehow)
K2:(1d20+17)[24] (likewise)
He's taken a lot of damage, so he also gets healing word #2. This would be another surge +(5d6+10)[36] HP, another saving throw against whatever he wants, and +5 to all defenses until Petra's eont.
