Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
That 'world ending' thing might also put a dent in your schedule, too.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
We're combining it with an 'It's not the end of the world!' party, actually. :smalltongue:

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
My friend wanted to have an apocaparty but he has work so it'll have to be a "nopacaparty" a day or two afterward.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Deadtime now. No comment as to whether I'll be back.

That is unfortunate. But parties later are good too.
By the way, since you're on, did you post for the Cabin since I did?

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Hey anyone need a young theif/wizard anywhere. Want something stolen, or an attempted robbery? Already have a thief who wants an apprentice or needs a rival? What I am trying to say here is I have a character in mind and no where in mind to put him. Suggestions/Comments appreciated.

I have a slightly incompetent thief who could have fun with a rival. I believe Singingnoodle had plans to create a Thieves Guild org after his current plot ends. And if he's decided not to do that, I would be happy to have Ally create/help found such a group by talking with other thieves.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Yeah, me and singingnoodle were gonna found a thieves guild, but then Enshadu got wrapped up in enough crazyness to thoroughly nix any chance of my character working with him.
I suppose, if people want, Badger could still start up a criminal organization, although without Enshadu's funding it's likely to be a bit less grand than originally envisioned.

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
I'm afraid I just found out that I won't be available for posting till tomorrow. :/
Sorry!

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Oh TE? I did post for you in riverside.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Oh! Totally missed that... >.<
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
I would be in for a thieves guild. While my guy might be wary of joining one at first he makes enough bad decsions he might see the profit in joining for protection eventually.

You could send a thief to... Mm... Issavae's house, in the Red Zone? She's got some stuff worth taking, I think.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
SN was the first one to come up with it and discuss it in the OoC thread, so I'd like to see if he still wants to run the group before doing anything with the idea. But regardless of who creates it, I want Ally to join up and get involved.

Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the Tiyanak bite.

I don't have much idea as to what kind of house I'd play. I'd make it up as I went, choosing an architectural style and theme based, most likely, on anything interesting I'd heard or read that day. Probably Gothic in style, with magic treasures.
But I'm also in England, and I know Ghar is in Canada even if I don't know where you are (I automatically assume everyone is American till I know otherwise, because that way I'm quite likely to be right).

Unfortunately, Morcleon, this sort of silliness doesn't really sit with me well. I usually stick to a more serious variety of RP. Though it's frequently scattered with silliness, it's the character based variety, rather than, well, stuff like this. Talking and referencing the rules of DnD for silliness sake will not slow the progress of what's happening.

My apologies. In that case, would it be logical (from observation) to assume that Ignai is about to explode?
I was more referencing this, actually...

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
I suppose one could jump to the conclusion, though there isn't really too much evidence to support that. It's been behaving as fire gradually increasing in intensity, nothing really suggesting an explosion I don't think. Up to you what your character would assume, though.
EDIT: Also, I may pause the scene after the next post. I know happyturtle wanted to have the fire fighters react, and it's been long enough that they could show up any time.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
I did want to have the fire brigade show up, but I have so many scenes going in Inside right now, that I'd be overloaded. Maybe we just handwave that they are there and doing fire-fightery things while the PCs deal with each other?
Edit: *pokes Ghar to GLoG Forest*

Yurp! Enshadu's guild. Thingy. Though....admitedlly, E is a little bit...frozen in plots at the moment.
Clegg is much more a thief character now. I think he'll create the group instead. He's not all that pyscholigically impaired.

Alright, handwaving can happen. I'll mention them in my next post.
Also *opens a GLoG tab*

Wanna keep doing the MURDER scene, or hand wave the couple back to the Sleeping Goblin?
I like RPing with you, but the two characters are in dead time...
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Do you want to post in Underside Murkus, or should I skip you this time?
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
I thought we were gonna wait on CB, since they're all back at the camp. Though I suppose he might not be able to help with the monster anyway...
In any case, Ordo doesn't have much to say there. Go ahead and skip, then we can fight the monster.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Hm, true. I'll wait for Lost Deep, then.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
DEB, you killed off Trissy'lene. The Sleeping Hoblin is in permadeadtime.

Clegg... as in the former Inspector Thenadier? The overzealous, criminal-hunting justice-pursuing guy who went completely insane after being trapped in a desert dimension for ten years, then somehow died at sea and became a pelagic undead who seems sadistically violent? Sure, why not. It makes me think of Vidocq's life, only in reverse. Except for all the supernatural, coming back from the dead stuff. I'm reasonably certain Vidocq didn't do any of that.
I would like to suggest that any thieves guild be Neutral, not Evil, so as to avoid conflicting with MURDER. Unless you want to set up an Inside-Riverside criminal organization rivalry/gang war...
