841)bobo the clown
Bobo looks like your standard whitefaced tigergrin clown doll. It has the ability to teleport basically
anywhere so long as no one is watching it. It is particularly attracted to children, but may focus on any PC,
randomly. Once it acquires a focus, it will follow its target by teleporting ahead and waiting to be found. It
can teleport into packs and the focus PC may awaken holding the doll. The doll is completely harmless - if
given to a child or placed in a play room, it will generally stay put. However, Bobo has a temper. If destroyed,
it reappears later, a bit worse for the wear - and it's no longer smiling. The doll will always be found when
something seriously bad is happening to the focus PC. If the focus gets stabbed in a barfight, it will be found
in the rafters, peering down with it's hateful sneer. As the PC bleeds to death alone in a gutter, the last thing he
sees will be Bobo staring back at him. Other than teleportation, Bobo has no magical abilities - it functions
purely through psychological terror.

Actually, that sounds kind of fun

As an upside, having the oil on your skin causes a very pleasant sensation. Feels good, man.

490: Busted Sword: a giant sword magically enchanted to be so heavy that it cuts through anything. Problem is that its so heavy no one can lift it.
491: Ten Milleniums Puzzle: a pyramidal puzzle that when completed summons the ghost from a long dead civilization who is hyper-competent at your chosen profession and can advise and teach you everything. Pity that he only speaks a dead language and is immune to all language understanding spells.
As a microbiology major this could be incredibly useful to me, depending on how the circlet defines "mating rituals" (is binary fission considered a mating ritual? Horizontal gene transfer?)

[QUOTE=AshfireMage;21279006]As a microbiology major this could be incredibly useful to me, depending on how the circlet defines "mating rituals" (is binary fission considered a mating ritual? Horizontal gene transfer?)
if there is a ritual involved, and they are prokaryotes, it oughta be in there. :)
but i also looked up some stuff, and off the top of my head, i'd say binary fission:no, horizontal gene transfer: probably not
then again, i've never been invited to to these sorts of events, so i have no way knowing
This actually seems like it could be a great plot hook, you need an expert for X, and hunt down the puzzle. Now, you must find a linguistics expert to teach you the ghost's language!
Can this help with cursed items? Or bypass any sort of 'this artifact is immune to damage?'
861) Damaging Armor: Causes extreme pain for all PCs within a mile radius. Pain becomes more excruciating as you approach the wearer.
