So...um...would anyone like to play the female version of the tiny dinosaur I've introduced in GLoG? So they'd be adorable little dinosaurs that'd be friends?

I've updated the character list on the first page of Hunting Grounds. If anyone wants to be flagged for needing interaction, best to let me know now either here or by PM.
Also, the Tenebras Vampires have had a chunk of Riverside almost since the beginning, although I'm not sure whether or not they're looking to expand any more after Southside was made.
Edit: Whoops, forgot why I meant to post here in the first place. To Rebo and Earl in the Hunting Grounds, there are a couple of things.
@Rebo: There aren't two images of the manic sliver there, only the wooden and oily ones fully split. Rather than split fully, the manic one doubled its arm to strike twice.
@Earl: The healthy one is both the one with its tails wrapped around Mateo's arm and the one trying to hamstring him. The vampiric sickly one is just clamped onto his arm and dazed.
The Cult of Dalachrech have a Temple near the centre of Riverside, but it's explicitly in Northside, though close enough to Westside to be in shade for part of the day. They aren't seeking control, but they are looking for converts.
@ Slii: When did the healthy one wrap itself around his arm? Mateo spin-kicked at it, so I thought it had grabbed his leg. Also, do they have a name? It's rather confusing referring them to 'the healthy one' and 'the ill one'. Admittedly they'd be 'the healthy [whatever]' and 'the ill [whatever]', but I think it might help me slightly.
Blargh, I meant to say leg there, my apologies. I'm getting so burned out from the scenes I'm in I'm confusing one for another.
The "healthy one" is a Toxic sliver and the "ill one" is a Vampiric sliver. The toxic one is wrapped around Mateo's leg, and trying to hamstring him. I guess I'm just not seeing how moving away from it using it as a pivot works, so if you could explain that in more detail it'd make my next post easier.
Thanks in advance.
Ah, I don't play Magic: the Gathering. Yu-Gi-Oh! was the card game of choice when I was in school. Well, secondary school. Pokemon was the main one in primary school. I prefer Yu-Gi-Oh!, but maybe that's because I got to play that more often.
I was picturing it as Mateo sitting prone with the toxic sliver holding his leg below the knee, so Mateo's using his arms and other leg to thrust against the ground and go up in an arc over the toxic sliver and onto the ground behind it, away from the vampiric sliver (slightly, anyway). But it wouldn't work anyway because it's the toxic sliver grabbing his leg, not the vampiric sliver because I'd gotten confused as to which was which.
I've edited my response in the Hunting Grounds.
Dude, it usually takes more than two hours to recruit for a storyline you want to do. :smalltongue:
Depends, can tiny female dinosaur be pink?
Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the Knucker bite.
In GLoG I did say!
My tiny Dino is green and has an acorn top on his back and thinks he's a turtle.
Yes, a shameless rip-off from the picture, I know :smalltongue:
Maybe she watched her friend get picked up by a two legs and followed them into the kitchen?
Yeah, don't worry. I know they don't get nearly enough screen-time to be a major faction and I'm working on finding some way to fix that. I was figuring on taking their magical brainwashing out of the equation some way or the other, leaving them unable to simply assimilate people like they did before or directly control Eastside but still with a considerable amount of less fanatic followers.
Zefir, can Grantz at least stay at the watchtower for a bit?
There's actually no rule which states that non-members can't come in, unless things have changed quite a bit since everything was last publicly updated. So while Mia and MDM have the capability to keep him out, unless he was banned, they don't really have any authority to do so, and if he comes back when they're not in the main room, no-one else is going to keep them out simply because of them having done so.
Also, deadtime now. I'll get posts up for Outside and Trog's Second Floor up in the morning.
*Pokes TE to the Nest, and possibly the Hunting Grounds*
Already posted at the Hunting Grounds for you and SerphIvan.
Yup, I saw it ThirdEmperor. Red's already cannonballing himself to the beetle.
That's exactly how she acts.
and if you need a point where it can be read. Look here:
Which means non members aren't allowed in the facilities. Thinking that in danger hurt people can be brought to the infirmary.Quote:
....
Prospective members who have been approved by a member become Watchman Initiates, and gain access to the base's facilities ...
Well at least I managed to find an armorer, I think.
Serph, if I understand correctly, Red is shifting from his slime form to the shape of a child, right?
After he got slammed repeatedly as a slime yes. That is why he is stabbing like no tomorrow before he gets slammed to near death. Then he will slime into a crevice like area to start absorbing some more, energy this time.
Oops. I wasn't entirely sure of that, but I didn't have time to go check, so I had to rely on my memory of the rules...
Also, while I can see the arguments against access to the labs and other areas, is there some particular reason that a prospective Watchman should have to complete whatever test they have to go through before being allowed to sleep there? It seems a bit off, since the test can be set at anything up to a full mission, and even a duel in the arena would require someone reasonably proficient in whatever weapon or magic they'd be using, as well as a competent healer, and the former come along quite rarely IC time (to the best of my knowledge), while the latter can still take a while for both of those members to be around. It's not like they can get into any trouble just be sleeping there, unless they're either planning to infiltrate Watchtower, or are insane enough to attack other members and/or vandalize the place, in which case you would want to find out as soon as possible anyway... :smallconfused:
Well it seems I can't enter the watchtower. Maybe I'll put in an application some other time. Do I just post that here or on another thread?
C'nor first *pokes to Inside* still the villian thing. See my last post HERE a while back.
And I don't see your problem. If they are on a mission... why needing a room to sleep? And as far as I know the member you talk makes the test so they won't shoos anything they aren't good at. I still have Mia as a priestess to heal people, but people don't seem to need her work much.
SerphIvanXin123 normal the person appears like Murkus char does and ask to join. if you read the first post of the Watchthread you should get the clue what you need to do. As far as I know only Remnant needs an OOC contact with Wolfbane.
*pokes RB adn Wolf to Remnant for Rec center* (Tovpir arrived there and wanted to talk to them)
Not open for the public to wander around in =/= has to complete a full Watchtower membership trial just to be able to stay the night.
If a member decides to allow them in to stay the night, they certainly can, but they can't just come barging in to crash on the couch (though Kal tends to do that anyway).
Y'know, sort of like someone's house.
