Remember that Daisuke is a Vizard.
Ancient Sumerian .
It's not done properly, I just get the syllables for different words and throw them together, making alterations until it sounds good.
Also, what steps should be included in the Segunda Etapa text? I've decided already that the final step is to have a peaceful conversation with a human in which you act against your nature - to understand your nature fully, you must experience what it is not.
So what, Takeshi had to have a peaceful converation where he acted dishonourably?
Maybe. Fine, alter that to something I'd like included.
It needn't be particularly long or extended though. Aléjandro's conversation with Nat was his "against his nature" talk, because he didn't make an effort to cause serious self-doubt.
Really, change it to an act against your nature.
No idea how this would work for Augustus... maybe he should just call Toho 'sama' for once
This makes a lot more sense. Sometimes acting against your nature just can't involve talking.
---
That said I say one step must be to overcome some special test defined by the aspect of death, much like the test the spirit of a shinigami's zampakutou imposes on the owner to achieve bankai.
Two acts that don't nessesarialy mean fighting.
An act perfectly in line with your nature, and an act against it.
Grrr, but delusion is a constant. I guess I'll never get Segunda Etapa :smallsigh:
Since Siegfried is on the cusp of achieving Bankai, I've decided to actually write up what I'd like it to be, and see if you guys have any objections.
His bankai wraps him in a sheath of reiatsu, which solidifies into spiritsilk armor. The armor is shaped like a brigandine, with gloves, similar pants and a ski mask, all composed of the same, extremely resilient material. The armor can be entirely replaced up to three times, before Siegfried runs out of reiatsu, and can be fused together after being cut essentially instantaneously.
Whips can be grown from any point in this armor essentially without limit, given how thin they are, though it behooves him to limit this to limbs, as that's usually the only way that he can move rapidly enough to get proper whip movement. His Kumo no Soshaku can be performed with any part of his body, though the armor must be replaced, as normal. He can eventually learn to use this as a method of propulsion, with control getting finer as he practices, drastically improving his speed.
Lastly, the spiritsilk now extrudes a venom that numbs (and, eventually, paralyzes) whatever touches it, making hand-to-hand with him an extremely chancy prospect.
Takeshi even uttering the words 'sneak attack'.
I have to go to sleep now. Zarah, when you get on, you can godmod Natsuko and her dad at the hospital. He will speak in Sea Green. His name is Mori Ken'ichi (family name, given name)
:smalleek: What does "running interference" mean, horngeek? Is that basically just acting as a distraction? If you could PM me with what you want Carcharadon to do that would be great.
It's basically just acting as a distraction while Takeshi gets somone to abscond with his target. It won't be for a while though. Other events probably need to happen first.
Satoshi's last coherent order was for Yen to arrange with other Captains to have patrols composed of members of the following:
2nd Div.
4th Div.
7th Div.
8th Div.
12th Div.
Kido Corps.
I believe that's all of them. It's flexible to a degree, though.
The idea is to have a patrol group composed of 2 of each of those groups, to provide recon in force.
Edit: Right. So, feel free to godmod me into the containment room, and even the external fight parts. I'll work on the internal battle.
A thought that occured to me earlier, what happens if toho or whoever does it in our continuity "awakens" satoshi into an arrancar while he's full hollow?
Wont happen but I had an interesting conversation with edge about what he thought the result would be.
Am I the only person who's annoyed that there are a lot of Captains who aren't actually posting, or have posted, at all?
I just think it's unfair on all the RPers who might want to be in a powerful role like a Captain but have to settle for 4th seat or Fraccion or whatever.
Any chance that these RPers could come up with characters to "replace" those who have not yet posted here? Obviously getting the latter's permission first, through PM.
Agreed. It's especially apparent when considering the situation that's playing out now. There are supposed to be 12 captains available, yet only about six are available with any reliability. The 5th Division slot is still technically unfilled, though, since the current incumbent is just filling in. Most of the rest can just be retconned out, since they've had no effect on the story.
I'm actually with you on this Hollow. It's not that I have a problem with the people behind the characters or anything, I just understand that this started out as a creativity brainstorm, and not an RP. Toho will not push your Espada, he was just suggesting taking a second look with as little bias as possible.
Also, I have to wonder if perhaps my wording makes it clear that activation of the 'shrine' could very well lead to a legion of gillian laying siege to the Seiretei.
Yeah, now that horngeek's calling for 4 captains to help control Satoshi and so far only 3 can be mustered... It's become quite clear. :smallsigh:
And Hadrian, I know you're not going to force Segunda Etapa onto Carcharadon, but Carcharadon doesn't know that, and he's too scared of you to protest too strongly, so he took the first available opportunity to basically just flee to the Mortal World. He's such a loveable sharky lump.
*sees Captain Sigmund volunteer to help with Satoshi*
Hopefully, he's volunteering as a combatant. Taniko, be ready to get back on your thumbs, just in case!
Sigmund does whatever it takes for his wards, even if that means beating the hell out of them for their own good.
If we're going to start replacing captains, then I might as well throw my idea out here.
As I said before, I'd kinda like to see my substitute get at least a little trouble from the rest of the shinigami, and while I realize that a whole execution plot wouldn't work with our kinder, gentler Gotei 13, I had another thought. If someone out there wants to make a captain (or adapt their own) that sees the whole deal with the substitute shinigami in the mortal world and basically says "well, that ain't right," so they do everything in their power to bring Masato down. Maybe with everything that's going on the real world, Masato could be brought to Soul Society to keep him safe and train while things calm down, then said captain sees his chance to attack. Heck, if he's got a smooth enough tongue, he could gather support from some of the other squads too. :smalltongue:
