But in reality Smoker was killed by a cyborg Lightning Dust who was part of some crazy pegasi conspiracy. Oh and the whole team was headed into Pegasus territory rather then Dwarven Territorry.
I had one where me and my girlfriend were fighting Voldemort (who was living in a broken picture frame) by throwing popcorn at him. I then led a crowd song that convinced him to go away.
EDIT: Better keep this pony related ... also dream related ... check out MelodicPony's new track! Luna's Determination.

He must really like ponies...
My brother and I were discussing cartoons, and Pony came up somehow (he's not into the show) in a discussion of new episodes. Specifically, our idea was an episode where the Mane6 find a coupon for a large one-topping pizza and they try to order it, but they can't decide on a mutual topping. This escalates into contests over who decides on the topping, weird physical challenges, bibery, extortion, and in one case hiring the CMC as a marketing consultation team to debate the benefits of mushrooms.
And then Twilight looks at the fine print and notices the coupon had expired.

Re: My Little Pony LXXXI: All Of These Ponies Are Crazy!
Fund it.
Also, I think Tim isn't a fan of the show, but his girlfriend/wife? is.

And then
they explain the situation to Celestia who sends them a second coupon. Nice idea.

That's a good episode.
So my peeve today is the premiere of Flashpoint (the one where Flash was in timeline when his mother wasn't killed) on Kid's channel. Goddang it, it's not for kids even if it's super heroes and cartoons.
Celestia knows when they will air Elfen Lied, like how Mexico did.

Well, it's his wife who's a fan. They're married and had a kid now.

My wife generally like the parts that overlap with Doctor Who. Everything else is whatever she learns second-hoof from me and my* daughter.
Lots of comic/web content that cameo ponies know the value of adding it even if they're not fans of the show. I think that was parodied hilarious by Doug Walker in a movie review.
"Every time we say Pony, we seem to get another few hundred hits to our show." (Something close to that I think)

If you hadn't mentioned that it was a cartoon, I would have believed you were talking about the Canadian Police Drama. :smalleek:
*I say 'my' instead of 'our' daughter because she got into trouble last night for using my wife's hairband on Pinkie pie and breaking it (due to Pinkie Pie).

Re: My Little Pony LXXXI: All Of These Ponies Are Crazy!
Man. Went to Wal-Mart, looked for pony stuff. They had a very small section, and didn't really have anything worth getting (though to be fair it's a lot of me not wanting the crappy quality official Hasbro stuff). Even worse, they apparently don't sell non-Disney DVD's anymore. I couldn't find anything I wanted, and that included season of MLP (I love audio commentaries for animated shows.) This is why I buy everything online nowadays (there was also a point of wanting to browse PS2 games, but neither Wal-Mart nor Gamestop had anything, also, Gamestop doesn't sell DVD's at all).

My local Wal-Mart has the same annoying quirk. Barely any Pony merch and what they do have is pretty much either old stuff everyone already has or stuff no one wants. What I do now is drive out a bit farther in the other direction to the nearest Toys-R-Us. They have one side of an aisle dedicated to Pony (with Littlest Pet Shop on the opposite side, so it's Win-Win for my daughter). Otherwise I too just buy all my stuff online (like the comics).
Speaking of Pony comics, I just finished the Mirror Arc with #20.

I seriously had something in my eye at the end. I was thinking Alt-Luna would betray Alt-Celestia and complete the banishment in a '
Heal-Face-Turn' moment. In turn that would make Luna realize some of the weight behind how bad it was to have to banish your sister... but no, instead poor King Sombra took one for the team. Sacrificing himself really saddened me. On opposite ends of a broken mirror... dang it was like the Doctor and Rose... only
worse. Rose at least wasn't corrupted.
I need a Kleenex...

Well, since I seem to be the only Brony who hasn't been reading the comics, is there any way I can start reading them for free?

Um, not legally, and we probably can't mention those nonlegal ways.

Not that I'm aware... though if Hasbro turned this arc into a movie, your reference would make for an interesting post-credit zinger.

That was indeed a good entry. Speaking of the IDW comic series, here's a clip from their ComicCon panel. I particularly liked the last bit about how one question IDW constantly sees is when is the inevitable "Transformers/Pony" crossover.

Sucks. Glad you're feeling better now though.
Is being alone when you're sick a common thing? I'm not sure about what the relevance is, except it can make for much less fun sickness.

Aye. And further, I think it's worth paying for the comics and supporting the company for their work.
Hey folks, what's the price range on these? Is there any way we can think of to contribute to a, say, group find for helping poor ponies get good humor or something?

We already did that. It's called Out in the Cold and is a good series.

I actually like being alone when I'm sick. I can actually REST and get better faster then when I'm surrounded by whiny, screaming adults. :smalltongue:

I usually get mine from Amazon affiliated sellers. Average price is about $6-8 (including shipping) per issue.

Re: My Little Pony LXXXI: All Of These Ponies Are Crazy!
A few of the comics were also released for free on comixology, though I think you actually had to get them on the day in question. I actually found their reader thing to be pretty good.

I have no idea. Maybe no one can draw Fluttershy in more than just 'Timid' and 'Brute' flavors.

Re: My Little Pony LXXXI: All Of These Ponies Are Crazy!
So I've been trying to imagine how the Mane Six could appear as the mane cast of Lightning Made of Owls.
- Pinkie Pie as Holly dons that pair of big party glasses with the thick black frame and a nose. Preferably without the moustache so that she can't be confused with Ambrose. (Update: I can confirm she has party glasses without a moustache: she wears one in "Pinkie Pride".)
- Rainbow Dash as Delkin wears either cool shades or a full flying suit with airplane pilot goggles.
- Twilight Sparkle as Ambrose needs a bushy moustache, one that makes Spike laugh when he sees her. No problem, she could magic one herself, or ask the Trixie, or ask Rarity, or someone in the beauty salon. (As an extra, wear either the time travel suit or a lab coat, and have her hair messed up.)
- Applejack as Oliver needs an L-shaped scar on her head. I can't imagine what one would look like because I don't remember ever having seen a scar on a pony, not even on Daring Do, but in the worst case she could just paint a fake scar.
- Fluttershy as Meridien can borrow a hair elastic from Applejack just like on that picture DigoDragon had just posted. Alternately, I think she would look nice in a neckscarf.
- Rarity as Samantha chooses a nice pair of earrings suitable for the particular occasion, I bet she has loads at home and can also make new ones.

I can't say I have any idea who any of those people are. Welcome to the thread, though!
