Wait'll he teaches them All-encompassing Sorcerer's Sight. . .
... I didn't notice the art style changed until a second read.
But that said, I like it.
I had to read that comic a second time before I could see what happened. Congratulation Jukashi - that was a masterstroke.
I'm sure she's happy as long as... the pants... stay invisible.
Hehe, that'd be interesting to see. But isn't that a Solar charm? I don't think he could teach that to any of them... yet.
He can teach Through Dead Eyes to Secret, as the Essence flows of the Charm is the same as All-Encompassing Sorcerer's Sight, only inverted.
Yes. He can summon demons, after all. And the title of this strip is "Ten is Also a Sorcerer, By the Way".

My two cents, Jukashi? This seems like something that would be easy to mess up. No one notices if a stick arm is slightly out of proportion, but now that they have real arms, it's a lot easier to notice a mistake.
That said, it's also a very good look, and I view it as an improvement on your already impressive art. Comparing Marena in the last panels to the Marena before, she seems fuller (and strangely sexier) with fully-drawn arms.
And as for Secret's beautifully-slim, pale, gorgeous arms-

(Also, as someone who's never even tried out Sorcery in Exalted, I really liked Misho's explanation for it. Suitably epic, and I applaud you for that.)
Here's a question: have we seen the anima of anyone other than Karen and Marena in its iconic state?
EDIT: I also noticed that they have necks in addition to arms and legs now.
EDIT 2: Oh no! Is it the first step in turning Keychain of Creation into a photo-realistic comic?
At first, I was all like "Whuh? Nothing changed." Then I went back, saw the strip again and smacked myself in the forehead. Well played.
Also, I had no idea the name of Secret's sword comes from Irish, even though I know it a (little) bit.
Animas flare in stages. First, the caste mark glitters. Then the caste mark glows. Then the anima actually flares, getting bigger and brighter as the exalt spends more peripheral Essence.
At the highest stage, it becomes totemic, and transforms into an iconic shape representative of the particular Exalt. For Lunars, it's usually their spirit shape, but other Exalt types get different ones.
Twilights like Misho tend to get geometric patterns, while Dawns like Karen tend to get large animals or humanoid figures (she gets a dragon, for instance).
The iconic flaring of the anima depends on the host as well as the Exaltation - it changes from host to host, but the colouring remains more-or-less unchanged.
Iconic anima is unique to each Exalt and reflects his spirit, and is only revealed when an Exalt spends great amounts of peripheral Essence. For Lunars, it is an abstract or realistic image of their spirit shape. For Solars, it can be anything, but tends to evoke heroic, occult and holy imagery (Moray Darktide's anima has skeletons, but he grew up on Skullstone). For Dragon-blooded, it is a representation of the dragons, their elemental children and the elements themselves. For Abyssals, it is either a mockery of a Solar's anima or a glorification of the Void. For Infernals, it is either a corruption of their former anima (for akuma) or a new image symbolizing the Yozis and their progeny. For Alchemicals, it is an industrial image and tends towards the imagery associated with the Exaltation type associated with their material as well. Among the Exalted, Sidereals uniquely lack imagery in their iconic anima, as befits their nature as hidden agents, and is always a glow in the color of their Maiden (though the exact shade and other minor details can vary).
Non-Exalted almost always lack animas, being harmonized to their Essence pool completely. The only exceptions are Deathlords, in reflection of their nature as corrupted Solar ghosts.
On the art style change, I am personally not a fan. Ten looks wrong somehow, and I don't like the necks. Maybe I am just being ornery.
I had to look at this thread to notice anything, myself. After reading the strip, I too wondered what they were screaming about.
As for the quality of the art change, I'll have to wait a few more strips to pass any opinions. It looks strange now, but art shifts usually do.
As I said in my previous message, this is just because the transition between the neck and the shoulders is too rectangular. I don't think this is related to the art style but more to a incorrect drawing, since the other characters have small but existing Trapezius muscles.
The art change initially was deeply disturbing to me. But with time, I came to like it. I do have to agree that Ten looks a bit boxy.
*takes a whole hour to overcome the art shock and the hilarity of the character reactions to it*
...What did Misho do with Secret's necklace?
I have to admit that my first thought was 'oh, Jukashi is drawing hands differently now with their pointing.' Then I realized that the reason I thought the hands were different because they weren't balls on sticks anymore.
Don't Solars have a Craft Charm specifically for destroying things?
