”Shady, given her nature as being touched by the plane of shadow,” Hiltze says suddenly from Meraxen’s left. “I don’t see the offensive intent. If nothing else, she should embrace it as being exactly what someone who has spent time on said plane should be.”

”guess now all we need to do is find Vecna. And finish summoning demons in my case, but that’s on the way. Oh hey did you guys like gemstones? I’m getting a bunch cut, Formian work. Lemme know if you like. I got pounds of gold too, so probably gonna make some awesome jewellery. Stuff we can enchant later.”

Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
You all receive a message through the telepathic bond you all share from Tazur. "Oi, any progress with the blood? Things are kinda getting out of hand, the militaries are too worn down to keep fighting right now and the spawn rate of these things has increased lads. We kinda need some of that blood ASAP. Covering fifty three breaches across an entire continent is not an easy job with only six people even if we are powerful."

Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
”oh hi Tazur. We got that blood you wanted. Are you going to pick it up or did you need it delivered somewhere?”

"Delivery would be nice, just teleport to the mansion and contact Quid, he is the one who can do the ritual."

Malady looks from where she’s floating, in front of the mansion, to the doors of the mansion.
“Hey Quid I’m at the front door, Meraxen has that vial of devil blood you needed. Where are you?”

You hear Quid respond back rapidly, wasting no time. "I'm on my way." An unharmed yet seemingly tired Quid covered with ashes appears in front of you. "Where's the blood?"

"Meraxen can you please hand the blood? Also just to verify, none of you signed your souls away did you? We are not currently in very good terms with Asmodeus to get them back if you did, and if you did it's very very, very unlikely we can resurrect any of you that signed their souls away."

Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
Quid stretches his hands towards you and receives the flask which he puts on his pocket with his right hand and with his other one opens a Gate to a breach back in the material plane in a place full of snow, ice, a crater on the floor, some stone floor and a massive creature sleeping below. "Time to go, those who want to come step through."
-
Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
Hiltze silently walks through.
-
Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
Meraxen looks through the gate.
"Oh."
Meraxen starts walking thru the gate, but looks back over his shoulder.
"Time to play 'Don't Wake the Tarrasque'...again."
-
Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
Quid passes through the gate "Yes it is, but fortunately we won't wake it up. Soul already dealt with it, some demons came earlier and the explosion woke it. Look closer."
As you observe you see that the Tarrasque is lit on black unending flames which are burning it faster than it can even hope to heal. Even if these flames do ever extinguish you can notice that it will take it a while to regenerate back.
"I would estimate that when those flames run out which will be in about two days it will take it at the very least 3,838 days to regenerate from that, that's if he can even heal from that which I doubt. Of course that is just a quick estimate but we have at least ten years of it being dead assured so be worry free."
Quid looks through the portal peeking his head through. "Anyone else coming?"
Quid quickly peeks out as Nina comes in through the portal singing a song.
He steps up to the portal staying about a foot behind it. He looks towards the portal, his back towards you. "You know, we found the component needed was the blood of Asmodeus as from our analysis apparently it was distilled to be able to create these breaches and can be used to reverse it. Honestly, this magic from what I have been able to decipher, is more powerful than any member of the DDC can use. It is in a way an amped up version of gate. There has been no caster able to create such a thing yet. Apparently these things have no limit on the power of a creature that is brought through it and lasts permanently, keeping to suck creatures until ended by the caster or an outside source, only limited by it being able to bring creatures up to once per five minutes. Whoever created this also left a magical signature intrinstically different from anything I have ever felt but it is obvious to note that it is arcane and epic magic. If we are going to win this, all of you are going to need quite a power jump, as are we." Quid stops talking and casts a mage hand spell, he separates a single drop of blood and drops it into the breach changing its green color into a light red and then into a dark red one after some ten seconds. The breach seems to destabilize and starts to collapse into itself. For a couple of seconds you hear and see into the other side, realizing it is not coming from the abyss or at least not from anywhere you know of, but something else. The image distorts into eight roughly humanoid figures of shadows in the middle of a conversation. All of their speech seems distorted by the breach just as the image is but there is one thing you hear clearly. "It is time to harvest the universal fruit." The breach finally closes into a small glowing light blue sphere about one centimeter in diameter before fizzling out. Quid starts to sweat, while you can't see his face you already know it is one of pure terror. "Chances are. The breaches were created by a single one of them, if the magic of a single one of them far exceeds what I have seen in a lifetime, then going against eight is suicide as we are now. Also, does anyone know exactly what in the nine hells is a universal fruit?"

Quid turns around. "Well that is certainly the most likely. Considering its a fruit maybe its not to power something but someone."

Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
Hmmmm. So the First of Devils, the Lord of Lies and Treachery and the writer of the Pact Primeval, Asmodeus himself, had not known about the threat to all of reality itself? That... quite frankly, was not what he had expected to learn. Considering the fact that he had not just known his name without introducing himself, but that the wyrmling form wasn’t due to any choice, but because he actually was only five years of age, Asmodeus had already shown himself to have an incredibly strong information network. Quite frankly, Dursurayss had no clue how he had even managed to gather such information in the first place, considering the fact he hadn’t exactly gone around advertising this fact to anyone but the members of the DDC even when he had made outings outside of his demi-plane in order to gain the necessary materials required for his various different magical items.
So the fact that they had known about it, when Asmodeus himself had not... was honestly terrifying, and it made the steel dragon rather glad that the others were focused on the Devil, instead of himself. Otherwise, they would have seen a trembling young dragon doing his damn best to hid his fear from the others, as to not give them a reason to put him on probation or anything silly like that. He still had little doubt of the power that was able to call upon, even if it was just with a single claw-tip. Just because he was five years old, and was only able to wield his power lime a hammer instead of a scalpel at this moment in time, didn’t mean that he did not deserve to be here, just like the others did.
Still, by the time that Asmodeus was gone, Dursurayss managed to gather himself so that he did not appear completely shaken by the meeting, and would silently follow along to watch Quid’s ritual... which would then proceed to frighten Dursurayss even more by the fact that they caught glimpses of eight figures of immense and inconceivable power, which Quid, the strongest of the DDC, was absolutely terrified off!
... Honestly, it was actually a blessing in disguise. Dursurayss got so horrified and frozen by the events of the last five to ten minutes, that his emotional mind flat-out committed suicide on him. Forcing the rational side of his mind to sigh at it's overdramatic nature and start waking it back up, whilst still controlling the rest of his body. “‘Harvest the Universal Fruit’. They don’t discuss ‘eating’ or ‘collecting’ the Universal Fruit, but Harvesting it. I can’t be certain, as Harvest as a word has many different meanings, but it often refers to the collection of crops planted in the past for future nourishment. The implication there isn’t so much that they seek to devour reality for sustenance, but that they helped create and cultivate reality for future sustenance. Potentially not even being the first time that they have taken part in such a task. Therefore their power level, at least as a group, has to be on par of an Overdeity such as Lord Ao... assuming that my theory is correct.”

Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
"That is certainly something very likely. My future sight is not helping in any way, I can't see in any probabilities of the universe anything about them except what we know. After coldly analyzing this, what if it wasn't them who planted it but maybe they're just heralds. No one with the power to create a multiverse will really do the dirty work for himself, consider it like any of us getting a pet ant which gets away. Chances are that we would not go for it ourselves but send a lackey if one is available or cast Create Fetch or similar. I see no reason why beings that cultivated a multiverse would take 17 months to harvest it or would do it itself after all. I'm not saying it is a certainty but my theory is that what Dursurayss is right, but that those eight were not the ones who cultivated the universe or at least not the main ones, they are just the hired farmers who are about to get the crop for the master behind it all. If that is true then we might just have to go back to tra...."
A loud thunderclap-like noise is heard booming and incredibly close. A portal some 10 meters to your left opens for a split second as a humanoid creature goes through it at incredible speed while faceplanting and creating a hole along the way. Unconscious and probably comatose from the injury the humanoid stays in the floor.
Quid turns looking at the body.
"We just don't get a break do we? Well I'll continue sealing the breaches, go back to the demiplane, I'll meet you there. It should take me 2 days on the demiplane to finish here. Take that guy with you, it can't be a coincidence."
-
Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
Hiltze grabs the guy by the scruff and begins dragging him, blade next to the unconscious humanoid’s neck. ”Will do. I’ll get him to talk.”
-
Re: Plane War I, Raise your Own Kingdom and Protect the Gods (3.5)
Quid raises his hands and starts to simultaneously move both of them in completely different patterns, once again casting two spells at once. A gate opens behind you and he vanishes somewhere else as he likely goes to seal the rest of the breaches. The body stays unresponsive.

As Hiltze observes you see some rather peculiar things. First things first he is but a regular human but bears no scars or muscles that would indicate any strength or agility requires for a fighter. He carries only a small notebook which you recognize as not being a spell book. No Holy symbol, nothing to indicate him being anything special. However his notebook is written in some kind of code. What you do see is some marks in his wrists and ankles that would indicate incarceration rather recently.

He does not wake up. Rather than injured into being knocked out he seems to have just fallen into a coma for some reason. A heal spell you determine should be enough to wake him up.
