"nobody" or no-man?

οὔτις, to be exact.
But yeah, that's what I was going for.
Wait. Hir wanting to be a Wizard made hir smart?
How about wanting to be a Fighter because you're strong, or a Rogue if you're agile?
If I knew I was super charismatic, I'm pretty sure I'd choose to be the party face, exactly as a clever Elf would be able to choose to be a Wizard.
The other way around makes little sense.

Way down in the last panel in the bottom right, you can see Kubota trying to escape in a rowboat.
Well, to a degree people can increase their strength/intelligence/charisma/whatever if they work at it, but generally they have natural talents as well, and most people exploit those natural talents to the best of their ability.
For example, it is possible for someone who is charismatic but somewhat on the dim side to raise their intellect to help them in other endeavors, but generally they will not be as smart as someone who that stuff comes naturally to, and those would be the best wizards, if that makes sense.
EDIT: Though this is getting completely off-topic.
I never noticed that the "¡Oye, creo qué me fallé de notar algo!" meant "I think I just failed a Spot Check!"
Did anyone notice that baby Nale already had two goatee hairs when Tarquin was running away with him?
Check out comic 725 panel 5. Zoom in with CTRL+MouseScrollwheel
Nale had those goatee hairs even before his father and mother split up:

Mixing stories from cultures more than 2 millennia apart? Awesome.

Okay, believe it or not I just cruised through the entire thread just to make sure it hasn't been brought up yet... so rest assured I am not about to reveal that Yor is Roy spelled backwards (five times?) nor that the azurite cleric says hey I got a 22 on my saving throw while waiting in the afterlife (four times?)

The door they go through has a "Lost" style Dharma Initiative logo, with a smiley face central icon, on it... when they get into the tunnel the sign says "Greg Initiative" (obviously a joke reference to the long departed sit-com "Dharma and Greg") and the station name is "Smiley Face"...
Never notice before, but not only Belkar magic but also his clothes turn White:

Look at Epic Inside. It's got a shadow. I never thought about it before but that probably means it's floating a few inches above the cloud. I thought it was just part of the cloud.

None of the monsters are trying to climb the ice in the last panel.

Haley dashes forward to hit Thahn with the sap. See the movement lines?
It’s because the Intel Inside logo it’s parodying features a drop shadow.
I’m not seeing what you’re getting at here.Quote:

I haven't read the whole thread, so maybe someone's already mentioned this. Also, I did notice it, but if I didn't then I probably wouldn't be able to post this if I didn't :smallwink:
Elan... (panel 6)
...knows Roy well.
Even though this thread is pretty much donated to the little jokes that we can only find after combing through the comic a couple of times, I think I might have found a rather large plot point that I missed up until looking more carefully at it. I'd call it Fridge Brilliance, but I'm pretty sure Rich planned it all to work out this way.
When Miko sees Xykon at the watchtower, ready to invade her city, she ends up being able to escape. From my standpoint, the Twelve Gods put her in a prime position to actually do something useful - to warn everyone of the incoming lich before the Order could teleport to Girand's Gate. The Gods were helping her to do her duty by getting a bunch of high-level PC's to protect the gate from an advancing army. Of course, she ends up jumping to a bunch of conclusions and kills Shojo. Since the ruler dies under mysterious circumstances, there is confusion and morale problems. Azure City is now in a worse situation than it would have been if the Order had left, gotten a Sending, and returned to the battle eight hours late. Since Miko completely screwed up the Gods' plan through her wacky logic, they fell her to let her know that they are NOT happy.
Skip to this comic. You could have the interpretation that the Twelve Gods DID actually arrange for her escape to give her a second chance. As soon as she gets out of the building, what does she see? Azure City in flames. That's a pretty sure sign that she's supposed to go protect the city, right? And since she's Fallen, she technically doesn't need to protect the Gate anymore. If she had gone down into the horde of hobgoblins and started killing them, Redcloak and Xykon would have been snuffed out by the spirits of the Sapphire Guard. All it takes is Jirix watching the demise of his Supreme Leader for mass chaos to break out among the troops. This gives the remaining soldiers enough of an advantage to chase the hobgoblins out the city, with Miko and the Order's help.
The Twelve Gods might have actually had a great destiny for Miko. She could have saved Azure City from being overrun by hobgoblins. She would have allowed Soon's Gate to remain intact. It's too bad that her narcissistic, holier-than-thou attitude and nasty habit of jumping to conclusions screwed it all up.
I never noticed that Elan's cape was stil visible on the third panel.

I just noticed Belkar took part in a bar room brawl WITHOUT KILLING ANYONE!
There is a spell called (IIRC) Revive Undead that can do that. It's non-core, but she does have a few non-core spells.
Haven't heard of that one. I was going by the text in Animate Dead. What's Revive Undead in?
Anyway, again, it's more likely that they are taking clothing off the dea- their fallen comrades (especially after Thahn's shoes).
