More trade stuff...
SpoilerHere's a list of the stuff that I don't need that perhaps someone else might like. I usually go by spreadsheet prices but I am willing to offer discounts to members of the Playground.
Edit: I am looking for gold botkiller weapons, preferably for Spy, Medic, Soldier, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, Pyro, Scout, and Sniper, in that order of preference.
I prefer getting paid in metal or keys.

Which servers do you guys play on nowadays? I've seen only drolkcal so far ont the servers that I frequent, specifically, the Crit Sandvich Network. I see that the others are online, but I haven't run into them ingame since Chocolate Hammer and SHaFT died.
You don't have a whole lot of extras, so I think donating is reasonable, though if you run into a spare Direct Hit or Beggar's Bazooka, I've been looking for those (the former to finish the set of three I need to make the latter... without using my Vintage DH).
I usually go on Skial's servers, mostly because they have several _increasedmaxplayers servers and servers in Dallas and Chicago are close enough for me to get decent ping. Also, no crazy things like no respawn time or no damage spread/crits.
I play on the following servers:
1. Crit Sandvich Network
2. Ducksoup Gaming
3. Reddit
4. Cafe of Broken Dreams
5. STAR's Server*
6. Couch Athletics
7. Outlaws of Sherwood Forest*
*Teamtalk instead of alltalk.
Odd thing: apparently, one of the guys on a server I frequent felt like goofing off... I was a Sniper, and he wanted me to switch to my Pan while he Übered me. So, I rushed in with a pan and smacked a couple things... and then successfully retreated from the utterly stupid situation.
Also, Sniper haters might hate me especially because rather than going for the OHKO, I generally make do with a bodyshot when there's a lot of action. There's no aim assist in TF2 for me to make the crazy snap-headshots that are possible in console shooters.
You do what you have to do. I really don't get the hate for bodyshots; it's like raging at the soldier for shooting at the feet instead of the body.
Nobody interested in my stuff? I was hoping that you might have gold weapons.
While it may be considered better to try and get the headshot, a bodyshot is better than missing, and missing is still better than not shooting at all, because at least you're making an effort.
Though as far as crazy snap-headshots without aim assist, you might be somewhat scared by what I've seen in frag clips of really good competitive Snipers...
@Joseph Silver: I was going to say I couldn't afford anything, but actually I probably could afford at least one hat if I smelt a load of my duplicate weapons. I'll take a look in my backpack and work it out.
Sadly there's no way I could come close to affording the unusual.
RE: headshot vs. bodyshot:
The question to ask yourself is, "Will they die if I bodyshot?" If the answer is yes, then take the easier-to-acquire and less likely to miss option of bodyshotting them.
Interested? Sure. Likely to have the metal for it? Not as much.
Yeah, I'm not a 360-snap-headshot level competitive Sniper. The tactic I learned for headshots doesn't work in games without too much aim assist for their own good (i.e. Halo), which is to wave your scope in a line across their head while you pull the trigger... the aim assist snaps the bullet to the head. Comparatively, for actual aimed shots at the head, I'm often at the bad end of lag compensation, and I don't get enough practice as Sniper (like Spy, it's either a bad situation for playing as one, or there's already too many on the team) to get good vantage points and frequent headshots.
I have an idea for a new Primary for the Sniper (in tf2):
Bodyshots deal no damage, but still apply on-hit effects.
What effects? Jarate (as Sydney Sleeper), bleed (as MvM upgraded Huntsman), and slowdown (as MvM upgraded Jarate)
Headshots deal massive damage (like most sniper rifles), and also apply the aforementioned on-hit effects (if the target somehow survives).
What does everyone think?
I think there should be a secondary for the Sniper that spreads a cloud of fumes that bullets or projectiles (or better yet, a Pyro) can light up.
I call it "Fart-in-a-Jarate".
I like the idea, but I think it'd be really unforgiving (and unpopular). I'd prefer a sniper that only does bodyshot on a full charge, but debuffs on a 50% charge. A bonus like charging without scoping in (or charging, and the rifle has no scope) would be awesome.
A) Throw at enemy team trying to push cart/cap;
B) Press key for 'Schadenfreude' taunt or default Sniper waving :smallcool:
C) Profit;
As for Sniper rifles - ones only working on headshots, even these offering instant kills are sorta underpowered. Rifle only offering 3 statuses but no damage on bodyshot? Simply walk with team and no-scope everyone, turning your team Heavies into Snipers due to jarate turning off damage reduction. Slowdown/bleed on top of that would only triple the amount of ragequits :smallcool:
Combining both? Can both countersnipe and become better Heavy buddy than Medic...
You guys remember AI War? That awesome, massive in scale coop vs AI RTS?
It's been three years, and the game is still in active development. Version 6.0 releases on Friday officially on Steam. The patchnotes between version 5.0 and 6.0 are 65 thousand words long. Arcen are my favorite indie devs for a reason. They are amazing in their post-release support.
Also releasing on Friday is the fourth expansion to the game: Ancient Shadows, which adds Champion units to the game.
Here is the official trailer for version 6.0 and the Ancient Shadows expansion.Quote:
Not Even The Machine Sees All...
Introducing Champions: These modular behemoths can be upgraded, gain EXP, and lend powerful aid to your main forces. But champions possess a unique power that sets them even further apart from other units: they can explore entirely new parts of the galaxy where the AI cannot reach. Splinter factions of humans, zenith, neinzul, and spire all dwell in those backwater nebulae. Some are hiding. Some are plotting. Some have gone totally insane. It is there, in the shadows, that your champion can find relics from the ancient race which constructed it. What power awaits? At what cost?
Key Features:
* A whole new kind of human player. It's possible to control champions alongside your main fleet, or to have a friend or family member control just one single massive ship.
* Several new sub-races dwelling in the backwater parts of the galaxy for your champions to interact with.
* Modular fortresses.
* 9 new bonus ship classes.
* 3 core AI guard posts and one new minor faction.
* 2 new AI types.
* 2 new map types.
* 98 minutes of awesome new music by Pablo Vega.

That sounds like it could be fun.
If only I had the game on steam, and not impulse.

Tavar oh Tavar.
Take your AI War key, go to Steam. Click Add a Game in the lower left, and click Activate a Product on Steam. Put in your AI War key. Bam, you have AI War on Steam.
This works for the expansions as well.
Tried that. Apparently, someone is already using my key on steam, and when I checked the forums the apparent consensus was that there wasn't anything one could do to change this.
