Re: ABR Disscusion thread XII: Not to be confused with important stuff
So which nations are being represented in MM's comic. I see Salmonville, Alphantica, and what I think is Blauport there. Not to sure about the guy in red or the guy in brown with the claw-arms on his back.

The redcoat represents Schizotec and the person in the standard diving dress is from Lockutas (see this comic).

Mad Mask, your use of (and positive success at) shading is unsettling. :smalleek:

"Unsettling: Troubling to the mind or emotions." Is that supposed to be a compliment ?

Re: ABR Disscusion thread XII: Not to be confused with important stuff
@MM: Hasn't Blauport been destroyed?
Also, is that Ins?

Blauport has been destroyed, yes, but Pericle Island is still there, with its inhabitants alive and well.
And yes, that is Ins.

I'd be surprised at that, after all it was a nuclear explosion. I'd have thought that the radiation would've spread across the island, and there'd be a nuclear fallout. But, it depends, I suppose.
EDIT: @3s: Blauport was destroyed in a nuclear explosion, as it was the only way to destroy Mecha-Nightwing.

Yay I'm credible!

Mecha-Nightwing, a villain created by Illiterate Scribe, and his Shades, were responsible for the destruction of Bleuport. EDIT: At least partly, because they decapitated Mechafox who soon exploded in a nuclear fashion.

Mechafox exploded his old body while it was hanging onto Nightwing.
Or was it something about jovocian missiles.. I forget.

Actually, Mecha was responsible for Blauport's destruction. Nightwing created the conditions for which Mecha's blast was necessary.

The radiation's radius was too small to affect the entire island.
-
Re: ABR Disscusion thread XII: Not to be confused with important stuff
Well, if the rest of Pericle Island is still habitable, it is likey that any survivors from Blauport would have fled to Surport or some as of yet undiscovered location in the North of the island.
EDIT @^: Well, okay then.

So, all of Japan died because the US dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

No no no, I'm saying it's hard to tell just how big the islands actually are when we have no scale. I can't actually tell.

We DO have a scale, look at the world map, it's near the bottom.
Tajira is about 110 miles long.

Pft... this is what I get for not checking the map every day... :smallfrown: :smalltongue:

Re: ABR Disscusion thread XII: Not to be confused with important stuff
Yeah, I cleaned the map up awhile ago and made it more readable.

We know from Charles' exposition on Blauport's history that Pericle Island contains multiple city-states, most which capitulating to the Elf empire earlier.

That was me. My bad.
With regards to Ins's symbol: let's say he hid it so as not to arouse suspicion during his meeting.

Re: ABR Disscusion thread XII: Not to be confused with important stuff

I get the clue. I suppose the comic can wait a bit. However, it doesn't look like the aftermath is resolving itself ya know. :smallannoyed:

I resolve the aftermath when i feel like resolving the aftermath. Now I just finished Pop:Zero Page 9 and next im going to spend all night playtesting Zombie Panic! Source and if I don't like it i will move on to Team Fortress 2.
Maybe tomorrow i will have a go at it.

Re: ABR Disscusion thread XII: Not to be confused with important stuff
How much effort do you put into ABR comics? Do you have ANY idea how long it took me to make that comic?!
Like 20 minutes. :smalltongue:

Mad Mask, you are the master of shading.
