And Casper is now even creepier than before.
Aight, so I figure Casper will either
a. Use Wendy as a hostage so the fuzz don't interfere
b. Use Wendy to twist Nomen's arm into partaking in a saw-like game
c. Use Wendy to get Hat Dude to give up the farm.
Logical thing to do would be to brain drain her.
d. All of the above
He has been teaching her thaumaturgy. At the very least it would provide valuable insight into how Nomen thinks about Thaumaturgy, if not actual battle data, That said the optimal desition would be to kidnap her the day before the fight, brain drain her and then try to use her as a hostage anyway.
Well what if he doesn't remember her from the fight to being with?
There where many people, and Casper was mainly focusing on Nomen, our well know killer here might have completely missed her.
Casper does wear that mask, he would see less with it on...Why does he wear that mask anyway...
Well, as for how much he knows about the craft, he did torture a man to death over several subjective days with a complex, forbidden spell that he was able to cast with just two syllables. As for how far he's willing to go... he did torture a man to death over several subjective days.
When you put it like that his question seems kinda silly...
Big news everybody.
First of all, I'm terribly sorry for missing the deadline on Monday. A minor emergency popped up, and since it's rather private I don't really want to get into details. Needless to say I feel pretty bad about it, since I probably won't be able to do a catch-up update. Since I've started my schedule I've been late a couple times, but I've never had to completely skip an update before, and this is a precedent I really didn't want to set.
Another thing that might be good news/bad news is that I've been offered a position as a Premium Author on MangaMagazine. What this means is that you'll get a new page every two days instead of thrice a week as usual, but since they require a two-month buffer I have to cut down the amount of updates per week until I hit that goal.
I'm terribly sorry about this, although I would like to hear your opinions on whether I should cut down the weekly updates to two or one. One means I can get this period of buffer-making done with faster, but two means you get more updates a week. Your input is appreciated!
Your choice, glad to see that this seems to be working out better than your arraignments for Bibliography.
You can aspire to be like Howard Taylor and never ever miss an update (he was a few hours late once due to server fire or something equally severe), but life happens to every one of us.
Apart from that: congratulations on the Premium Author position. Let's hope it will be equal parts gratification and gratuity.
I will be equally happy with one or two updates per week.
I say go for one update per week.
Also congratulations!
They grow up so fast... Good job Elagune. Once a week seems okay.
Trust your judgment. I'm rooting for you, mainly so that when your popular I can brag about how I liked your work before it was cool.:smallwink:
Maybe try both schedules for a little bit each and see which works best?
New page up!
Thanks for the support, guys. It looks like I'll be updating once a week on Wednesday, then. Hope we can get this period over with as soon as possible!
SpoilerThose eyes are serious. I mean, really, that scares me. This is about to get really serious.
SpoilerIt sure will, but I guess it will be more Sergio Leone serious then an all-out fight. Would fit the western theme as well.
Two questions
1) Is it just me or do the characters change height in the second frame compared to the previous page?
2) is there an feed or other method to be automaticly informed of new updates? Didn't find any myself.
New page
Gentlemen villain is a Gentlemen... who dropped his drink
SpoilerBut somehow I don't think he did "nothing" as what he said. Something obviously happened to Wendy.
Then again, it would be funny he really did nothing because Wendy passed out from fright all by herself rather than anything Casper did.
Lastly: "Fights between sophers..." Is that whole groups of floating 2~3 different element types per sopher right there?
Seems like working miracles with 3 elements (or more) and a whole deck of cards is common amongst higher leveled sophers... and that the goons we met in chapter 1 who got offed are the equivalent of country hicks (recap: "3 of a kind?!?? IMPOSSIBURUUUU!!")...
