Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Now, will this new character be in FI? Because if she's not, I can't be bothered to draw her a template.

Indeed. The only gripe I have there is that I couldn't put a ? in.

Didn't he die already? And his corpse was used as a paddle to propel Leroy to both Fayte and the Shade's castle? I had wondered why he was suddenly alive, so took it into my own hands to kill him off again.

Good. Because I remember distinctly blowing up the V from the inside.
So, the ship shouldn't be in one piece like how you drew it :smallyuk:

Aww, I liked that issue. ._.

I distinctly remember that being called non-canon, due to the characters still inside it. And Threeshades last comic (now non-canon) came before your "Vendetta explodes, I kill things" comic anyway.

Maybe "Mad Mask getting killed and then being alive in next comic" is going to be another ABR gag? :smalltongue: I mean come on, just think about opportunities that would bring to plot and good guys!

I'm fine with that comic coming along a lot later, say, after everybody is safely out.
Otherwise, they're flung into the air by the explosion action-movie style.

IIRC, Mad Mask said he wanted his character to die, for an unknown reason. He even put on his wiki entry: "When the Vendetta sunk, Stephen Mask both drowned and died of hypothermia. His corpse was then used to propel Leroy, used as a liveboat."

I belive he said he wanted to draw the comic with his death.

Cartoon Physics.
@Threeshades: The character's name is not Mad Mask, but Stephen.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Ok, I've finally finished a massive design necessary for my most immediate next comic. I'm not entirely happy with it but if I keep trying I think it'll end up like the USS Enterprise: Lots of designs each with their own varying fandom.
On the word of cartoon physics being what's kept Stephen alive, is it possible that's also why he's spontaneously alive and dead?
Physics revives him
-He dies from cyclopean malformations
Physics revives him
<Repeat until recent time>
-He dies from drowning and hypothermia
Physics revives him
-He dies from blunt impact of Threeshades' corpse combined with cyclopean malformations
Physics revives him

Nice. I look forward to it. And I think you gave me the necessary boost to finally start my comic on the Battle of Alphantica.

That's an interesting hypothesis. It's better then my idea that he was continually replaced with a living replica of him that comes from an alternate universe where he did not die.

Yay! Roka isn't dead! GSQ is no longer a murderer!

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Q, could you make a comic of team Oliver meeting back up with team Lying?
I have the perfect comic for after we take down floor one of the castle. However, to make it look like there's an actual struggle, it should take some serious fighting, cause it would make my comic feel stronger and more dramatic.

Sounds good. Should I include Oliver in this team? :smallconfused:
I got a lot of stuff to do I'd rather not discuss and templates to make for the rest of our team, so it may also take a little while.

So he is Schrodinger's cyclops ?

If you want, I can do the comic. It will not take very long.
EDIT: It will be from my character's perspective, however.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Oliver is swimming around underwater right now.
There's Q, GSQ, æli (pixie), a detta, and Iceddragons (who may or may not actually still be there)
Edit; Ven is the "emergency raft" that they are/where floating on.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Sure thing.
@^ I declared that non-canon, Keris' comic replaced it, the one with Dekopin and the "the goggle do nothing" comic.

I think now is probably a good time to remind everybody of how the Vendetta is immune to magic attacks against it. :smallamused:

Alright.
Just remember that they're coming by Spaceship.
[EDIT] Great. Now I have a æli template and an Iceddragons template I'm probably never going to use ever. :smallannoyed:

The spell itself may be magical, but the explosion itself isn't. That's the best part. :smallamused:
If you're wondering WTF, well, is an A-Bomb a uranium-based attack? Basically, i'm just using magic as a catalyst for nonmagical effects.

Like the spell "Summon Instrument", except this is an instrument of WAR!
