It has been years for me as well. I did see the "recent" movie they made a few months ago on Netflix. Wasn't bad at all.

Re: My Little Pony LXXXI: All Of These Ponies Are Crazy!
Okay, so I've decided I want to see Rainbow Rocks when it comes out in theaters. However, I'm having trouble finding which theaters when will be showing it. Anyone know of the best way to look up when and where so I can make proper plans?

Apparently, Screenvision is exactly what you're looking for.

Yeah I tried that, but when I enter in my zip code, nothing really changes. Don't know why the zip code thing is really there.

I don't get it. The song or the art style.

Huntsville is too far for me (really the closest theater at all is too far for me, while being a large town, we don't have everything), and there's no chance I could convince my friends to go.

Odd, the zip code function works fine for me. The theater won't let me buy a ticket this far in advance, but that doesn't sound like the same problem.

Man my cuteness resistance is really high. It takes a lot to get past it. (I raised puppies for a few years. A pack of adorable fluff balls is hard to beat)

At the bottom of the screen, there's a section that says "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks is playing in the following theaters," and then lists those theaters by state. When you plug in your zip code, it narrows down that list to just nearby cinemas. If that doesn't work for you, why not just look what theaters are in-state for you and see if there are any nearby/in towns you recognize?

Do you have a pop-up blocker on? Cause if your Zipcode yields no results it creates a popup telling you no theaters are in your area.

I showed the video to my Facebook friends and most of them didn't get it either. I guess that "Paper Mario" style is a niche thing.

Hello. I need a favour. I'm currently in the process of pruning my music playlist for my iPod, and I figure I may as well include MLP musics from the past two years I have not been keeping up.
So, yes, recommendations if you please. (I vaguely favour drum-n-bass, classical and electronic, preferably without vocals, but I'm open to suggestions.)

Best pony artists are YourEnigma, 4everfreebrony and Black Gryphon. Just look up their youtube channels and you'll find huge amounts of amazing stuff. Alternately, check out my music playlists on the OP of my drawthread

Popping in some zip codes I know has results listed "within 20 miles" as well so it may just mean there aren't any close-by.

For 'classical' ish stuff, I can't go past MelodicPony or Evening Star. Check out their youtube channels.

Re: My Little Pony LXXXI: All Of These Ponies Are Crazy!
Ah, the end of another campaign run. I was impressed, actually, the PCs managed the final boss fight in one session. Pretty good when you consider she was 600 hit points and they're only level 6. But it's amazing how much two bards can wrack up together... When the party is on a net +5 to hit and +4+2D6 Fire to damage it wracks up quickly! Still, had the cleric not had a stupendous set of rolls with his Dispel and dropped her AC from 34 for a merely high 26, they would have had a lot more trouble. As it was, they finished her just about when their buffs would start to wear off, and with fairly minimum damage.
Well... apart from the Dwarf suffering about 5-7-ish points of Wisdom Drain. That's gonna cost some to have fixed...!
4E for a bit, then, for a break for me as DM (I'm not running it) and a change of pace for everyone else, since this adventure has been going for 41 sessions so probably about a year of real time. So laser cleric for me, and Athrinel can spend the next umpteen weeks consisently unable to hit anything...

Ouch, that's painful.
Spoiler: D&D Musing of an Unemployed DM
Show
I usually don't let stat drain become permanent, however the DCs generally get a buff so it'll feel permanent if the PCs can't roll a decent save. Something else I do is usually change 'Save or Die' spells to 'Save or Suck' where instead of instant death you drop to -1 HP and are considered unstable. Now I've been told this makes the game too easy, but I counter that it actually makes the game harder because now I can have villains spam death spells with reckless abandon. And they do.
And it's hilarious.
I wiped a party this way. There were also two incidents of a PC dropping and then waking up later with a letter from the villain stating 'Guess what I did while you were unconscious in my arms'.

That's what I ended up doing. Found out its showing down the street from my grandmother's place. Came up with an excuse to come over at that time to try to watch it.

Kids these days and their fancy exalted powers. Why, back in my day you'd be lucky to reach 4th level. Every dungeon was a battle for your life. Up hill. Both ways. Just for a decent +1 weapon that might glow in the dark and do an extra die of fire damage. Elder Essence? We soiled our character sheets with names like Orcus, Strahd, and Grimtooth. :smalltongue:

... ... Y'know, you'd think there'd be at least one theater showing Rainbow Rocks in my state. Although if other people found the two or three showings of EqG as inconvenient to get to as I did, maybe they thought there wouldn't be interest...
(Also, Rater, which implications specifically? Because what I see when I look at it is "these ponies survive long enough to look old, and are all still in good shape".)

Twilight isn't there.
Which means either her Alicorness stopped her from ageing as she grew old(thus she's left out to avoid contrast)
Or, she didn't grow old at all.
Since word of god is that Twilight won't outlive her friends....
