Yeah, I don't get all the hate. I mean, Brun's probably one of my least favorite characters at this point (forcing someone to buy a drink at gun/harpoon point is not exactly a good first impression) but I don't hate her or anything.
The hate's not for Brun. It's Renee

This is true. A lot of people are indifferent to Brun, or even like her; almost everyone dislikes Renee. She's Faye, done wrong.
We need to find out what the connection is between these two...

Re: Questionable Content 10: La Li Lu Le Lo
I had a natural dislike of.Brun because of the (now revised) original comic in which she appeared, and came off as one massive violent jerk.
But her interaction with Hannelor, as well as the Demonic Drink she purchased, made me warm up to her.
Renee still annoys me.

Link, please? I can't recall this at all, and it sounds like a hilarious combination.

A dunkel served at 19.2 C? That's disgusting, no matter the eldritch runes involved.

Maybe it's 66.6 C. Or maybe even 66.6 K. Brings a whole new meaning to "the alcohol is burning your throat", either way.

Re: Questionable Content 10: La Li Lu Le Lo
It says a lot about the current state of anime that I had to Google to make sure this wasn't real.
I know she's recharging, but is Momo also curling up into a ball, or collapsing?

I'm almost dead certain, however, that I have seen clips from a live-action Japanese movie/show/something where the schoolgirl protagonist could pull machine guns out of her butt.

Why, Japan? WWHHHHYYYYY?????????
-
Re: Questionable Content 10: La Li Lu Le Lo
Because. And thats the best answer you will ever have.
I actually foung this comic to be musingly hilarious. There is somewhat deep metaconcept humor that keeps getting funnier the more you think about it.

Re: Questionable Content 10: La Li Lu Le Lo
I'm currently in the process of watching something where the very thought of squeezing boobs allows the hero enough Shonen Glowy Power to go from "weakest character in the squad" to "Goes toe-to-toe with a ten-winged fallen angel."
Anime has to do a lot to surprise me is what I'm saying.

You may be thinking of SaiKano, the manga and later live-action film about a highschool boy and girl whose relationship gets increasingly strained after the Japanese military converts the girl into the world's most deadly weapon in order to defend Japan during a new World War which lasts for ages and becomes *really* devastating. There's a few body horror moments, including one scene where they're on a bicycle trying to race away from an enemy gunship, and then several missiles fall out of the bottom of the girl's skirt (implying they came out of her butt) and zoom off to blow up the bad guys.
Then the war expands, basic society starts falling apart, the increasing bombings start to literally rip apart the earth, and Chise (the girl) slowly loses her humanity and empathy for everyone except for her boyfriend as she's sent into more and more horrible combat situations. Then things get *really* dark.
It's not really a fun story, is what I'm saying.

There is a movie where she has a chainsaw coming out of her butt. She doesnt remove it, just a running chainsaw blade poking from her posterior.

This is a delve into Japanese movies that I can honestly say I never want to explore again. I'm just going to forget I saw that.

That's the one. There's another scene where she sprouts a multibarreled gatling gun in the same fashion and kills a guy who looks like an extremely low-budget Zangeif with it. At least, I hope they're from the same movie, because otherwise that means there are two separate Japanese live-action franchises where bashful schoolgirls produce lethal weaponry from their posteriors.
Go to Youtube and search 'Japanese WTF machine gun butt girl' if you dare, for video evidence.

Here is an article thats slightly nsfw that talks about this film, along with two others. Hilariously terrible stuff. Oh, its called Mutant Girl Squad.

I wish there was a second chainsaw pun that could be made, but I can't think of anything.

If we could keep it going the replies would chain together nicely? Perhaps after we make sure they are a cut above the rest? Im just afraid the girl would assassinate me.

Re: Questionable Content 10: La Li Lu Le Lo
Oh no, what have I started? I better separate myself from this before the puns really rev up.

Are you going to provide a name or I will have to risk googling "boob squeezing superpower anime"?

Highschool DxD. Be warned: it actually has a plot.

Re: Questionable Content 10: La Li Lu Le Lo
Roko needs to work on her approach. Also to understand that the uniform gets in the way of being friendly; she'd have been better off in plain clothes.
Although I wonder if tea that produces hallucinogenic highs in AIs is at all illegal. And if not, if she's going to try it, what she'll see...

I don't think it's hallucinogenic - it doesn't make you see things, merely evokes their impressions.
