If you're wondering WTF, well, is an A-Bomb a uranium-based attack? Basically, i'm just using magic as a catalyst for nonmagical effects.
Bixby's crushing tactical nuke ?

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Interesting fact: The viewing platform Maeter starts at is about 30 ft. tall, meaning the overall length of that ship (Assuming it wasn't on a slight slant) is about 600 ft.
This makes it about 5 times the length of a blue whale, the largest creature ever to exist on our planet. Those ships (Damin class, meaning "Dragon") are so massive they need to contort their bulk to fit through an Omnigate.

Can everyone who's declared one of their comics non-canon go and edit the word non-canon into the post?
-
Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
@Lyinginbedmon: Very interesting comic, as always. I'll make a response as soon as I finish bringing Oliver & co. to the Shades' castle.
-
Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
@ Mad Mask: Ooh, I need to make a comic really quickly before you do that.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Was anybody other than me in the Vendetta when it supposedly went boom?
If I'm the only one, then I can just draw a comic explaining how I escaped.
Also, awesome comic Lying.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
SPACE WHALE SKELETONS! FROM SPACE!
New comic up, mostly to say that the Centurion Detta will be accompioning Oliver, and to show off Ven's Projector.
Essentially, Ven's got some extra dimensional storage space inside himself, all the projector does is retrieve it and "Project" it somewhere in close proximity.
Ven's Boat Module is nothing fancy, it's not super-armored or magic immune or anything, it's just a boat with a motor.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
Is Oliver & Co. going on that spaceship, or on Ven's boat ? Personally, I prefer the latter, but I just want your opinion.

MY SPACESHIP!

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
People, I need your opinion to start my comic ! Unless of course I choose myself...
@Mechafox: There is a little error in the archive: #1664: A Grim Backstory, should take place after #1670: Of Utmost Importance. Else, I doesn't make sense.

Also, something you should consider when you're making your comic Mad Mask:

Q, why do you refuse to spoiler your image? Why?
Is it because your mind is steadily being stripped away by senility?

Actually, it works like most of bixby's spells. It creates a fist of magic that crushes everything in a 30 ft area, followed by a nuclear explosion.
Needs to be cast from above (from an airship named Forgotten Freedom). the captain has the right to order the casting of this spell. Anyone else who abuses the spell will be liquid keelhauled. Twice.

It didn't need to survive it. Q breifly plot-traveled to Plot 3 and got it before then.

Information concerning the Centurion Detta
http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...urionDetta.png
The Centurion Detta is considered by some to be Ven's ultimate creation. The Centurion Detta and it's components are the result of research conducted and items gained by Ven as he accomponied Oliver on his planar journey.
Body: The Centurion Detta's outer body is constructed from a rare allow of planar metals, giving it resistance (not immunity, Resistance) To both physical damage and most magic. It's design came from studying and consulting with outsiders from Mechanus. It includes a Schizian EDS projector that it uses to store weapons and armor. It has two modes, currently it is in it's standard "Duelist" Mode, however, it can project additional components and armor onto itself, switching to a heavier, but slower "Dreadnought" mode.
Sword: Ven Acquired this Sword in the Heroic Domains of Ysgard, as swords go, it's pretty good.
Gun: The Centurion Detta wields and Omnibarrel pistol. Using Planar matter, Ven infused the different barrels of this Gattpistol with different elements, combined with the Gattpistol's high rate of fire, makes this a formidable weapon.
Shield: a Magical, Adamantine shield, as Shields go it's pretty good.
Cape: There is nothing special about the cape except that it can easily detach, and that it looks cool.

Lying, you win the internet.

Re: ABR Discussion Thread XVI: Matters of Futures Imperfect
I'ma start a comic soon.
Probably with TnD epically failing when trying to escape the Vendetta, then GR finding another means of escape.

Well, not to the extent you have. You have, repeatedly, claimed ignorance of things that should be common knowledge, at least here on the internet on a gaming forum, and then, miraculously, claimed that you knew them all along.
Now, you have always maintained that you were kidding, but with you advanced age, one can't help but wonder...
I'm kidding, by the way

EDIT: What if I compromise and say that Q and Q go in the spaceship and the rest of Oliver's team travel on the boat ?

Even though it makes little sense, that's fine with me.
