She deos actually have her eyes closer to her mouth like females in the comic do, but she's taller than those two guys so her eyes land on their level anyway.

In the last panel Elan interprets his father's euphamism being about a secret dwarf ally, because subconsciously he is trying to hide their own secret dwarf ally.
Edit:
Almost forgot Eric can look into the future?
its the toy
I never noticed that Tsukiko's eyes are different shades of blue until I reread one of the old strips, the one where she calls Redcloak Wrong-Eye.
It's not about anything subconscious. He reads his father implying that he's going to go back to his quarters to "bathe an ape, wink wink" as meaning that his father is going to go back to his quarters to have a meeting with his secret dwarf ally, because when he (Elan) told the guard he and Haley were going back to their quarters to bathe their pet orangutan, they meant they were going to have a meeting with their secret dwarf ally.
I didn't notice at first that the serving personel in #744 were slaves.
Once I started wondering why they wore so little clothing the slave collar was a give away:)
Crap you are right. Why did I even go so deep with Elan anyway? I'm no better than an epic level ranger panel 5
Ehm, I suppose I'm just a self proclaimed genius who tends to overcomplicate things. And I have a goatee. The only thing I need to become the lamest evil mastermind ever is bleaching my hair. And I suppose some evil deeds.
I just noticed that Haley's haircut was foreshadowed when all her personalities met and the comedy one was introduced, and now there are a lot more punchlines.
It took my second readthrough to realize that Durkon's grandpa probably was sent to Hel due to liver failure, unless the dwarves report a dwarf's suicide-by-monster as the mortal illness that inspired the one-sided-battle. That's really sad.
I also didn't notice that monster-san ate the note Miko was supposed to deliver.
I missed the line where Tsukiko mentioned the crush she has on Xykon. Squick much?
Last panel. :smallwink:
A posting somewhere esle linked to this scene in the desert.
I have only just realised that Belkar (and the rest of the order) were (slightly) sunburned.
Kuurkk the anemic is paler than belkar or gortok
Cos hes anemic!
Wasn't it said somewhere that dwarves who die from alcohol-related diseases go to Walhalla (or whatever it is called) in order to honour the brave livers that fought so long against the inevitable?
I just realized that Roy was the only one who was distressed by the dirty things they all thought were going on between Haley and V. And that includes Durkon.
http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0123.html
If it isn't the fact that Roy is lawful good, what is it? Had Roy a crush on Haley?
Also, after reading the comic again, I think it is surprising that Elan loves Haley back.
Taking into consideration his reaction to V asking whether (s)he might touch Haley's round, flawless...gemstones, and his affair with the bandit leader...and his remarks about how pretty the waitress is after Haley asked him out for a date...
Probably, that's why Haley only confesses her love when it is necessary to get her voice back. I don't think she ever hoped for more than a nice "I like you...as a friend."
I never realised here Mr. Jones did use a rhyming end for his closing argument, and also foreshadowed Miko's fall
In comic 137, Banjo have little viking horns on his hat, until the second-to-last panel
Eh, I think Roy's expression in 123 is more to do with the fact that Haley and V are coworkers. I mean, I'd be pretty distressed if I thought I heard two of my coworkers preparing to have sex, no matter how attractive they are.
Page 600 roys bro is is playing with the black dragon :smallconfused:
the book titles in 601 are a hoot.
I can't help but feel Rich intended comic 668 to be comic 666, would have ben very cool if it were.
But... but.... UGH! :smallfurious: Why can't people in this forum understand that Rich doesn't care wich number his comics has. Take a look at Roy's death. Was that a special number? Belkar's activation of his MoJ? Belkar getting well again and slaughtering thieves? No. Also, take a look at 700, nothing overly special happened there. Face it, the events of 668 were supposed to happen after 666.
The only times anything has been done to celebrate any "special" numbers were when The Order first met Miko, The Semi-Secret Origin..., The End of NCfPB, Elan and Haley first kiss.
That is a total of four examples, and of those only one of them actually makes anything of it.
Good catch!
And I just noticed for the first time, in that same comic, second to last panel, that Hak-Tonog the Moderately Incontinent was killed by Belkar pushing him backwards onto Lokor the Chronically Insecure's spear, not by Belkar stabbing him directly. Interesting what you find when you start looking!
