Andi aka Andromeda, Bandana, Elan, Felix, Haley Starshine, Julio Scoundrél
You may have forgotten Vaarsuvius.
Updated through 989
Belkar Bitterleaf, Blackwing, Little Whiskers, Mr. Scruffy, Roy Greenhilt, Vaarsuvius, Veldrina, Wrecan
And V gets back to its place.
Shouldn't the airship be counted as a character? I know it's not animate but it will have a name and a "she" pronoun and it would be interesting to track.

Andi aka Andromeda, Mechane Crewman with five o'clock shadow, Roy Greenhilt, Vaarsuvius
The only inanimate object tracked so far has been Banjo, and that was only because Wrecan liked him enough to make an exception. We didn't even track Roy's corpse. So, no, I don't think the mechane should count. It was introduced way back in WaXP, and wasn't counted then or any time since.
Isn't there missing a Mechane crew member in the 990 update?
Strictly speaking, also Giggles.Quote:

But there are other inanimate objects with a greater claim to being a "character" than the Mechane. The Crimson Mantle, for instance, or any of the Gates or Rifts.
991: Durkon Allotrope Thundershield, High Priest of Hel, Hoskin, Sigdi Thundershield, Tenrin Thundershield, Thirden. Hoskin is the character formerly identified as Sigdi's Red-Haired Friend, and the Giant has also identified the character formerly called Sigdi's Blond Friend as being named Shirra.
Also, the male cleric in the last panel of the crayon segment might be High Priest Hurak making his first appearance in an online comic. I don't have a copy of OtOoPCs to check.
I take it that it is Hoskin in #962. Could it be also him rescuing Sigdi in #947? The hair color looks slightly different, but not too much, and it has been several years.
That guy looks pretty much completely different apart from having red hair. Furthermore, he's implicitly a member of Sigdi's former squad, whereas it appears that Hoskin and the others didn't meet her until after she was injured.
Edit: The Giant has also confirmed that the character this thread has been calling Sigdi's Grey-Haired Friend is named Kandro.

Durkon Thundershield (+1), High Priest of Hel, Hoskin, Sigdi Thundershield, Tenrin Thundershield, Thirden (+2)
I suspect that it may turn out to be Hoskin after all, but I suppose for the moment you are probably right.
I thought Thirden was confirmed as the grey-haired one in #991? I take it that you mean post #111 here:Quote:

This post confirms that Kandro is the bald one, seen in #958 and #962 (panel 6), doesn't it?
Thirden was already identified in 958, which meant the character this thread had been calling Sigdi's Grey-Haired Friend had to be Kandro. (Yes, he's bald, but he has a grey beard).
Oh, I see. I would call it tan or beige instead of gray, but it is not the most objective of distinctions.
I suppose it doesn't really matter now that we know his name.
