And the gnolls summoned clowns.
Time to run I guess.:smalleek:

Guess this is a sequel to the circus arc. :smalleek:

If a protagonist had done that, they'd be making a heroic sacrifice; the gnoll isn't just killing itself out of pique, it's sacrificing itself to summon the demons. So from a certain point of view, I can see the badass side of it.
Unfortunately, the demons were clowns, so that is all rendered moot.

Sure, but would Gandalf staying behind to fight the balrog still be as cool if he spent the whole time whining about how everyone messed up his plan and nothing ever goes his way?

Re: Will Save World for Gold
It's going to turn out that everything wrong with the world is the Feywild's fault isn't it? Abusive precursors indeed.
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
It was just confirmed that the Eladrin created the Abyss. That right there is enough to say everything wrong in the world is the Feywild's fault.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
It's kinda hard to see with this artwork, but I think that kobold is masturbating in panel five.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
My memory might just be playing tricks on me, but isn't he about 10 years old?

Re: Will Save World for Gold
I think Ardon is usually too smart to remove himself from the powerful group of people with a vested interest in protecting him.
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Oh well, so much for Tuvi.:smallfrown:
New new kid for the next adventure I guess?
I hope this won't become a regular thing.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Well then. I actually kinda thought that Tuvi would last longer than that.
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Guess this means that the one that she replace might return.
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Peanut kinda deserved that. I'm wondering if she'll show up inside Odie's nightmare.

I doubt it. I don't think everyone that dies around Ardon would wind up there, just people that died while under the spirit's mind control power.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Wut.
Just... This is getting ridiculous.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Agree since the skull ghost was a lie somehow. :smallconfused:

Re: Will Save World for Gold
resurection is a thing in this world remember. always possible they bring her back.
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Maybe Tuvi is like a cat and has nine lives.
Science must be conducted.

Well, sure. Resurrection is a thing.
But someone just getting up after getting brutally turned into a smoothie?
Something's fishy there.
And I'm not talking about Ardon's breath.

My first thought was Orochimaru branched out into a new universe.
Tuvi as a Edo Tensei zombie... I'm not sure if Ardon would be happy or really ticked off about a immortal minion.
But this works too.
Although it implies a rather... interesting ancestry.
On the other hand, it's D&D.
Someone being their neighbour's pet's distant relative wouldn't be that surprising.
More likely for a sorcerer, but not impossible.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
I was thinking that the hyena Tuuvi was standing on was only unconscious and when the demon zombie swung it hit both of them. Tuuvi is okay (barely). The (now dead for sure) Hyena was the owner of the skull ghost we saw as well as all the blood Tuuvi is covered in.
That is my theory anyways.

Well, that does make sense, I'll grant you that.

Maybe she just fell on a squirrel?

This was my theory as well. It seems fairly obvious now, but I didn't catch it at all before.

Re: Will Save World for Gold
Is Ardon actually mad that Tuuvi followed his plan successfully?
Usually he gets mad when party members DON'T do that (which is all the time.)

Possibly he is annoyed his short rest didn't complete. Also anyone else notice what Peanut did?
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
Who else thinks that Tuuvi might be more/something else than she claims to be?
And thanks Hamste for pointing it out - did Peanut skin the clown? Or just remove his mask?
-
Re: Will Save World for Gold
That explains it. :smallwink:

It certainly wouldn't surprise me.
At the very least she might be stronger than she claimed.
Worst case she's not actually a dwarf and will eat Ardon's brain kidneys when he sleeps.
Also, isn't Tuvi from Groffnar's clan?
Are we sure nobody knows what happened to him?
