Is Hortense actually a ninja? She wears a mask, but she hasn't always worn one like the Doctor's family do.

She hasn't? I don't really remember her origins very well.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
She didn't have a mask when she was dating Doc in college.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Not only does she not always have a mask, but she also uses guns. I don't think there is anything that suggests she is a ninja. Most likely she is a mercenary; she's got good hand to hand combat ability, but mostly uses guns... so matching her up with Gordito makes sense.
Doc's parents probably like her because she's pretty much in the same line of work that they want Doc to be in; she just fights differently

So clearly Chuck is going to turn the robot off at this point, right?

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
She is also not wearing a mask when we first met here.

Or she's wearing one of those hyper-realistic masks that only ninjas have and thus it's evidence that she IS a ninja. :smalltongue:

But we know that those masks only work right when they depict old wrinkly guys.

Haven't seen Mitzi in a while, have we?

Which is especially odd given that we've gotten several scenes in Casa McNinja with Dan and DSP...

The fellow talking to Chuck is actually quite unwrinkled, so not really.

Well that got shot down faster than most speculation. I'm going back to my "Chuck is shutting down the robot" theory

Really? A nice elderly man?
Radical you'r a big jerk.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
So ... I guess he wasn't a ghost, then? What was the deal with that skull, then?
Or ghosts aren't that Radical?

Radical's plan calls for the extermination of everyone on the planet who isn't "ninja doctor" level of cool.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Im sure the skull was because the guy was a weirdo.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Nah, they can't reach this far in all likelihood. Otherwise, we would have seen them much earlier, right at the start of Space Savers when Doc hit DinoChuck with his car. I think the Dinosaur Fortress was built at Cape Canaveral, which is why the Ghast could protect DinoChuck in the future.

I'd have to go back and check, but wasn't the NASAghast stuff only for INTENTIONAL harm?
:edit: found the page, no mention of unintentional harm, just that simply intending it can be enough.
And we do know that their range includes the Cumberland area, what with the dinos that were living in the McNinja residence getting a visit.
:more edit: and while I'm at it, the Chuck that gets killed by King Radical appears to be wearing a bluegreen chronosuit.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Casa McNinja is in Cumberland? Doc travels at the speed of Ninja, I always assumed the McNinja home was somewhere indeterminately far away.
Though if simply intending harm is enough to call out the 'Ghasts, that seems to make it more likely they can't reach Cumberland from where they are (and that Casa McNinja is closer to CC than Cumberland is). Otherwise, Radical would have gotten Ghasted long before now, considering all the times he's stuck a gun in various Chucks' faces with the express intention of shooting them unless they give a favorable answer to his questions. Radical got a pass for actually killing a Chuck in the past because the Ghasts didn't exist back then.
EDIT: but apparently the 'intentional' rule only applies if you're in Kennedy Space Center itself. So I give up, I have no idea if the Nasaghasts will get involved or not.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
I don't think Chuck is an astronaut anymore, so he may not qualify. I actually think this was the best comic in a while. It gives Chuck a good motivation to get off his butt and get involved. As much as I enjoy the normal cast, sometimes it's nice to see the "normal" people stand up for themselves and become heroes too.

Considering Chuck is an astronaut from the future who has already saved the world an indeterminate number of times I'm not entirely certain how much he qualifies for normal.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
He's pretty normal by Dr. Mcninja's standards though.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
No, the one in which Chuck is killed is in the past, which is why NASAghasts couldn't reach him. They only exist for harms while they are around, not prehistoric harms to astronauts.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
That's the other thing that sucks about Radical's plan: the inhabitants of his world are probably 90 per cent dickwads.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
That certainly seems to be the case.
Chuck thinks fast, doesn't he?
