My bad, i forgot about the existance of ZeroArms.
Congratulations to Kubo-sensei on getting married.
Oh, he did? Cool. Congrats to him.
Well, no Bleach this week then eh :P
Kubo having a special someone in his life might explain why Bleach is slowly getting more sensible. He's got a woman to beat some sense into him :smallamused:
Etiquette.
Sure, when I'm referring to him in the 3rd person and trashing his work I'll be intentionally disrespectful and be casual about it. But in a comment that's relatively more directed at him and isn't about his work, I'll be more proper. I do have some minimal level of manners, after all.

Well, the wedding is conveniently timed since the next issue of WSJ is... January 4. So yea, no Bleach, or anything else running in WSJ this week.
It was a double issue. It's misleading as heck, yea, and I had to look this up myself. The double issue status serves to indicate that the next week will be off, not that there will be extra content to compensate. So the end of the year, new year's, Golden Week, and Obon are the four break weeks, and thus the only planned breaks serialized mangaka get in general.
And it lets them maintain the number of '52' issues for a year.
Edit: Speaking of new year's.... yes, 1/4 is also a double issue. The next issue after that will be 1/21.
So yea, around now's probably the best time for a mangaka to get married.
I thought sensei was used for any teacher or doctor.
Any teacher, doctor, and acclaimed artists, including authors.
(.....and politicians, and lawyers, while we're at it)
Let me correct myself on when to expect the next chapter of WSJ series:
According to Arlong Park, we can expect the 1/4 WSJ's chapter to be scanlated anytime between 12/25 and 1/2, since shipping is unpredictable around this time.
The 1/21 issue will probably get shipped very early, and then there's a long gap as things should get back to normal by the 1/28 issue.
Edit:
Looking at the right two columns of this page:
http://adnavi.shueisha.co.jp/schedule/w_jump.html
I'm assuming those are the deadlines for the mangaka to submit chapters by. If so, we can probably surmise the exact week of Kubo's honeymoon :smalltongue:
I...I...
I..................
Kubo, what are you smoking, and where in the bloody hell can I get some.
Notice how all the guys in Bleach are getting kicked in the head by their smaller, female assistants?
....I suspect Kubo is going to have an interesting married life...
For those not yet aware, new chapter.
SpoilerWell it was pretty darn clear to me that all those ladies had to be zanpakutou. I mean, there are no other shinigami besides the Zero Squad and the four they took along with them, and considering that guy invented zanpakutou, that's easily deduced. I did find it a little odd that only one of them really had a very different personality from the rest of them though, which momentarily made me think she wasn't one.
And interesting thing to note:SpoilerThis chapter establishes that Zanpakto can manifest as human esque beings. This is foreshadowing for Kenpachi/Loli Yachiru being a Zanpakto.
SpoilerShe could be HIS Zanpakto though, which might explain the difference in attitude. My question is where are the Soul Reapers who those Zanpakto belong to.
SpoilerGASP! So of the anime filler has a basis in the series? :smalleek:
Actually though, the Zanpakto being able to manifest as a person has been hinted at (an omake from the manga). While the anime arc was not cannon it is important to note that Kubo created many of the human manifistations of the Zanpakto. The first time he had made character designs for the anime series IIRC. I kinda expect to see Zabimaru in human(ish) form at some point.
Kubo had a hand in doing the designs for almost every character in the anime filler :)
I swear the guy plays ttbrpgs, loves making characters enough.
If Yachiru was a Zanpakuto, the reasoning I can give for her having one is the same for Stark and Lillenette, because it'd be the same situation so not to much of a stretch with what has already been established in the manga.
TtbRpgs? What's that, for those of us who don't know?
Table Top RPGs. I don't know why I stuck a 'b' in there >.<
I think there was even a comment a while ago that Bleach reads like the notes from someone's DnD game.
Maybe dead shinigami, or he simply created extra ones to keep him company? That seems to fit his personality, especially with how he seems unwilling to even acknowledge his big mansion actually not being his real house.
Lilynette's sword isn't a katana though, and thus can't be an unreleased zanpakuto (and neither can it be a released one if she herself is actually the zanpakuto -- otherwise there'd be possibility of zanpakuto-chaining... then again, I could see someone sufficiently powerful as the Spirit King do something like that).
I think Turalisj meant tabletop RPGs, probably incorrectly abbreviated, considering there is no B in there.
SpoilerAgreed with the people saying this supports the Yachiru being Kenpachi's zanpakutou. But yeah, that does make us wonder... well, Kenpachi and Yachiru both have swords already. And Kenpachi's is constantly released. But hey, I'm sure Kubo can make it work.
SpoilerWho says you can't have a sword because you are a sword? It was mentioned earlier, but remember the Lone Wolf Arrancar's loli partner? She was a weapon, and she also had weapons.
Hell, for all we know, Kenpachi's broken ass sword is just a reflection of his true self. A sword so powerful that he has to have a sword just to hold all his power.
Everyone is actually a zanpakuto.
I wonder...
Spoilerwith Renji and Ichigo being filled with new reiatsu, could that mean that Zangetsu and Zabimaru took new forms?
