Kyou pulls her sleeve up, revealing the intricate seal around her wrist. "Believe it or not this isn't bling." She takes another bite after giving Yoshi a moment to look.
"Your squad made it." She bobs her head at the 12ther.

Another few minutes pass and Koujin finishes his meal. He looks quite satisfied, relaxing for a minute before he takes his emptied dishes back up to the kitchen.
Koujin returns to his seat and leans back, grinning slightly as several unseated 13th division members exchange bets. He glances around for Hachirou, who probably should be arriving soonish...

Kyou sighs in annoyance as she extends her arm. "Fine."
The seal is gold in color, with an indicator screen on vitals (whether it's Kyou or the hollow isn't readily apparent), and many green wires running across it.
"Well, I suppose hard work is the only way to truly improve. I've been making some progress, but I still can't turn corners without grabbing onto something." With the board arranged, Kazuma made a gesture as if to invite Masaru to pick his pieces.
"Lately, though, I feel like I've lost a bit of my drive."
Sigint was thinking about heading towards the 8th. That, and also thinking about what to do to the person who knocked out the camera. Just then, however, a sound is heard just next to his ear.
In a flash, instinct takes over. Sigint leaps forward, spinning around and forming a low level Hakudo in his hand to restrain the threat. His free hand is on Taganjuu's hilt, preparing to take out the possible threat.
Then he notices the smiling face of Captain Shirakawa Kiku of the 9th Division. He laughs a laugh filled with mirth, gravely as it is, and claps his hands after dissipating the forming Kido. Afterwards, he bows towards the Captain. "You certainly proved that you earned your position, Kiku-taichou!" He holds up his hand in peace. "No offense."
"I actually wished to talk to you about a couple of things, if you have the time. Mostly..." his voice drops so as to keep it between the two of them, "confidential things. You see, I wanted to indulge in a little paranoia today, if you don't mind?"
(OOC:I'm assuming that everybody knows who he is? Nevermind, Kurama answered that for me.)
Kyasarin nods with a sigh.
We all have so much to do, and yet everything is so boring. And on top of that, my Captain wants me to increase Security because one of our Officers got a mystical warning from his zanpaktou.
She carefully doesn't mention the fact that all this is actually the Onmitsukidō part of her work and not the Second division.
[9th Division Grounds]
Kiku took a quick backstep as Sigint whirled around. Confident that he wouldn't strike, she didn't feel the need to prepare any countermeasures against his potential attack. He's quick. She smiled inwardly. She didn't know Sigint very well, just that he was probably older than her and he was an Onmitstukido commander. It might be fun to try and embarrass him. She moved a step back towards him. Giggling with her long sleeved hands over her mouth, she said, "Oh no, don't tease me, Kageen-san." She laughed and squirmed like a schoolgirl. "So what sort of confidential... things did you have in mind?" she grinned as she finished. Sigint will have found that she moved a step closer sometime during their chat, causing his nostrils to fill with the scent of lilac perfume (if his mask doesn't block that).
Sigint looked towards Kiku as she advanced. Behind the mask, he was grinning like a fool. It was nice to see such mirth, even if it was a bit thick. Her movements where a spectacle for sure. The lilac perfume slipped through gaps in his mask, adding to the pleasantries of the scene. That didn't mean he lost sight of why he came. He was just happier now.
He did find it odd that she would take to his inquiry so...easily. Well, she is the 9th Division Captain, and the 9th Division is reconaissance, so maybe she is just like him; a person who knows a lot more than what most people would find acceptable.
"I wanted to talk to you about recent...worries. Do you mind if we walked while we discussed this?" He motions towards a pathway. He walks as he talks if Kiku takes up his offer. He seems like some kind of tall shadow as he moves. "Let's start with a light subject, shall we? What are the recent happenings around the Seireitei and Rukongai?" His voice so far has been warm and inviting, at least as much as his gravely, raspy voice will allow.
Ikimi and Shinji
Ikimi gazes in fascination as she slurps her noodles, but as she isn't an expert on the metaphysical sciences, she keeps her silence.
Shinji, meanwhile, can't help but try to satisfy his curiosity.
"Huh...well, I'm with Yoshi on this one, I've never seen anything like it either. When did you get that arm, if you don't mind me asking?"
[9th Division Grounds]
"Of course." She said, and proceeded with him to walk. When he asks about the Rukon, she answers him, gently tugging on his arm, "Aww, you already know that one. Its just business as usual. Farmers make their daily bread, thieves take it, thugs take it, we take it, and the streets don't really get much cleaner." As she tugs his arm, she notices it isn't soft flesh, more like stone, probably a prosthetic. She dodges the current topic, fingering his arm, "Now I bet an old war veteran like you could tell me a good story. How 'bout it?"
Sigint sighs at Kiku's description of the Rukon, his head bowed slightly. "I'm all too familiar with that I'm afraid. I sorely wish it weren't so." He noticed the tug on his arm, causing him to wonder why Kiku was so...intimate with him. He notices himself on the cameras back at HQ and blanches a tiny bit. God knows what the 5th Corps would think about this. He composes himself at the mention of him being an old war veteran. "Well, you're right about the old part. Maybe not the war veteran part as much though." He chuckles. I would want to get to the point at hand, as I wanted to visit elsewhere..." He looks at Kiku and tilts his head in a sort of defeated gesture. "But you're not going to answer my inquiries until I humor you, will you?"
Kiku makes an affirmative bob of the head, "Mhhmmm!"
Sigint sighs a little. "Alright, but only if you promise to answer my questions when we get back to that subject." When he gets a "yes", he looks back to Kiku. "So, Kiku-taichou, what kind of stories would you be interested in? Comedic, crowning moments of awesome, tragedies...?"
"I would have thought by now that you'd have figured out a lady's desire." she said, tapping the prosthetic arm. "I wanna hear the whole thing!" she added cheerfully.

Yoshi ignores Shinji's question for the moment. Instead, he leans forward a bit more and gently takes Kyou's wrist with one hand.
His other hand traces over the bracelet, and occasionally the surrounding flesh. He turns the wrist over once or twice, always applying only just enough force.
"Fascinating. This must be the Captain's work. This is better Kido/technology integration than anything else I've seen; I suppose necessity really is the mother of invention..."
He silently studies for a bit more, before replacing her arm on the table and withdrawing his hands. Instead, he steeples them in front of himself, a pensive look on his face.
"Are the sensations from the arm dulled at all, or does it seem to function completely like a normal arm?"
[11th Division, Kazuma's Quarters]
Masaru chose the Reigning King.
"Well, you're still able to turn corners. I'd focus solely on that for now, were I you. If you make the focus too broad, it will likely slow things down. Keep it narrow for now."
He gestures for Kazuma to move.
"Well. An 8th Seat certainly isn't a position to feel unaccomplished at, but that's still less than ideal. Is there a reason you have, or is it simply a recent lack of motivation?"
Mystical Warnings...I didn't think a zanpaktou could do something like that.
Katisugo hears a faint voice from his zanpaktou.
Perhaps this has something to do with that Kujo kid.
Maybe...
Katisugo shakes his head snapping out of his daze addressing Kyasarin again.
Well if your division is increasing security, that probably means 13th patrols in the Mortal World will increase as well.

"A year or so ago." Kyou seems a bit uncomfortable until she gets her hand back.
"It's just like a normal arm. It's a little bit stronger than normal, though." She takes a few more bites of her burger.

"It gets a little twitchy when the seals start to lose steam. It was a little weird at first, but it didn't take long after they put the seals on to get used to it." Kyou looks away for a moment. "...ask your Captain or something. Can we talk about something else?" She seems fairly uncomfortable again.
[Restaurant]
Yoshi flushed as he suddenly realized this wasn't the easiest line of conversation.
"Oh. Forgive me; my curiosity sometimes runs ahead of my good sense."
He takes a bite so that he's forced to stay silent and think for a bit.
"So. Has anything interesting been happening in your Division of late, Kyou?"
Great. Now she was getting into very personal territory. Doesn't feel so good when you are on the other end of it, does it? Sigint chuckles. "I always did have a bit of a hard time understanding ladies. At least you are here to help me get some good experience on that end, eh?" He then sighs and begins to talk about the story behind the "prosthetic", spinning it in a way that would leave out any potentially damning details, such as the fact that he was Onmitsukido. Afterall, he doesn't know just how much she knows, so it's best to keep as much in the dark as possible. He does mention Taganjuu's cryptic comment before the mission, but he left out the fact that said prosthetic was actually his Zanpakuto. He ended the story like so; "When I woke up, I looked over and saw this thing where my arm used to be. So there you have it. Was it satisfactory?"
(OOC: I'm trying to keep it purposefully vague, so as to leave the actual reveal of the history for a dramatic moment. Man's gotta keep some secrets afterall. :smallwink:)
[9th Division Grounds]
Kiku gasped, "Ehh? Kageen-san isn't good with the ladies?" As he told the story, she rested her head against his shoulder while they walked. After he'd finished, she sighed, "That's so sad, isn't it? Reminds me of one of my favorite childhood stories, The Weeping Knight, he died at the end, though." she grinned. She continued, "Most people would have killed themselves. Did you get revenge instead?"
[9th Division]
"Well, this is based off of my earlier experiences, when I was young. Whenever I tried to pick up women, it went something like this. Dumb pick-up line, followed by the woman giggling, then me saying something stupid and everything just falls from there. However, maybe nowadays I could do better..."
"As for revenge, I thought of it. But the rescue team incarcerated the target before I got the chance. As of now, he is in the Maggot's Nest, if he's even alive. Afterwards, I just learned to live with it."
He noticed Kiku's affectionate motions. He tilted his head questioningly. "No offense, but aren't you a bit worried about what others might think of our interaction...like this? Not that I have a problem with it of course."
[9th Division Grounds]
She smiled and looked at him, "If you don't have a problem with it, why bring it up?" She tapped his nose with her finger, then continued, "'sides, since when did you think I cared about what others think?" She tapped her collar bone as she said so, pointing out the tattoos covering her neck.
Shinji and Ikimi
Ikimi quietly downs the last of her noodles, while Shinji digs into the dessert he just ordered. He says around a mouthful of ice cream, "Aw, come on, there's got to be more going on in 6th Division than that! Heard of any talk about getting a new captain, lately?"
"I brought it up more for your sake than mine. You know much how people love gossip, regardless of the aftermath of spreading said gossip, or even its authenticity." He didn't move at the tap on the nose, merely raising his eyebrow behind the mask. "You do have a point."
"Anyways, as much as I enjoy talking with you, I'd like to get to the reasons I came here, if you don't mind. I suppose you haven't seen anything around and outside Soul Society that could result in...violent complications did you?"
