POWER NAP is a great one.
www.zombieroomie.com is a fun one. The artist is really interactive with his fans.
http://bearmageddon.com/ is a story about mutated killer bears, and the humans that attempt to survive them.
URL for "No Need for Bushido" is outdated. Current one is this one.
URL updated - thanks for the help.
I don't see 13 Legends on the list.
I love that this list still exists. It's fun to do webcomic roulette!
Two comics that aren't on the list:
Rain
Genre Unsavvy (my own)
SMBC is already listed as "Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal". added the rest.
Add Silver to the list. Best described as "Werewolf epidemic in the Wild West".
Hey I´m Dario the creator of Barbarian Adventure, Space Opera & Beard of Dust.
I wanted to ask you if you could add my webcoimcs to your list.
here are the links:
http://tapastic.com/series/Bar
http://tapastic.com/series/SPAGHETTI-WESTERN
http://tapastic.com/series/SPACE-OPERA
thank you!!
First off, the best of the bunch in my opinion:
http://pandora.xepher.net/daily/20050228.html
It's called Daily Grind, it's very badly drawn in coloured biro, and it looks terrible. However, the dialogue is generally good, and sometimes the story is better than the dialogue.
It's about a do-anything agency run in a world and magic superworld of talking animals (angels are spiders, centipedes are neutral spirits, and demons are I think dead people/animals who were nasty in life).
The main characters are Howlett Creager who's a python size snake, Jolene a near psychotic body building squirrel, Mrs ConstanceTeasdale a stinging moth, Darius Tharka the ex-devil bunny, and a lot of others. Most of the characters are about the same mass despite their approximate species.
Very dark even for adults in places, even though there's no on-screen sex.
The rest in no particular order:
Curvy: http://www.c.urvy.org/
Sexual very often and violent in a cartoonish way, drawn in a Beardslyesqe hippyish style, I am not sure that the story makes sense.
At arm's length: http://atarmslength.smackjeeves.com/comics/
Strange animals with extra arms, which they can hide, can do magic. People/animals without the extra arms can't.
By the Book: http://bythebook.smackjeeves.com/
Some NPCs got hold of a Rulebook, hilarity ensues, or not, depending how you feel about it. Some nudity with obscured bits, but it's pretty blatant what's being obscured.
Retail:http://retailcomic.com/
Jokes about customers and corporate shenanigans.
Banana Triangle:http://www.bananatriangle.com/
Jokes about being shipwrecked.
Jerk City:http://jerkcity.com/
Strange gay/rude comic using speach bubbles on strange (pre-existing?) characters.
Monster Pulse:http://www.monster-pulse.com/
Story about kids having parts removed and made into monsters without the kids dying, and the monsters sort of obey the kids.
Yuusha Hime Kalibourne:http://www.conscrew.com/yuushahime/
Story about a girl with a suit of power armour, probably based on something Japanese I don't understand, but I like it somehow.
"Requiem: An online graphic novel":http://requiem.spiderforest.com/
Sci-fi set on an another world. Sort of looks computer generated, but typically three fairly small images per page, and currently refreshes daily Monday to Friday.
"Requiem: Shadowborn Pariah":http://requiem.thecomicseries.com/
About magic users in a version of our world. Again looks computer generated, or maybe painted and reduced in size, very slow to update, one large image with insets, usually three weeks or more between refreshes.
"Slipstream: Singularity":http://slipstreamsingularity.thecomicseries.com/comics/
Sci-fi from the same people as the second Requiem on my list, same sort of big images, about two weeks between refreshes at the moment, it was in space but the current arc is on a planet, I have no idea how long that will last.
Daily Grind and Monster Pulse were already listed. added the rest.
Shotgun Shuffle. It's about two college-age girls (one is actually in college, the other isn't) that are roommates in an apartment, neither of which are quite ready to make it on their own. It's not just about them though, it's about the people they interact with significantly. The world is mostly mundane, but definitely has some impossible things. And then there's Tarra, whose life is full of unrealistic and impossible things.
It is far from complete, the large-scale "plot", which is basically the development of the main character, is still in setup phase.
Edit: Well, actually, it's more like it just started Act 2.
Just gonna post some of my favorites.
Housepets
The Young Protectors
Prequel
Strays
Homestuck
Misfile
Least I Could Do
TwoKinds
I read more but those are some I read frequently.
except for "The Young Protectors" they're already all on the list. care to submit a link?
Hi there,
would be cool if you could add http://devabo.de to the List.
:)
Hi, I have a comic that I would like included.
Gnomophobia
http://gnomophobia.com
It's MMO themed. Is there anywhere we can post questions about running a webcomic?
this subforum is the right place, i'd say.
here's a link to the latest thread of that kind.
Oh hey, thanks!
I sort of assumed Quantum Vibe was in the list but I just looked and it isn't.
http://www.quantumvibe.com/
It's set in a future Sol system where there are colonies on or near most planets or major asteroids, with a female lead character with the surname of "Orsome" who's pretty mary-sue ish. Quite violent sometimes, and with quite a lot of action.
A couple more for the list.
Thistil Mistil Kistil - Norse adventure series
No Scrying - Advertised by the author as CSI: Fantasy World
Stand Still. Stay Silent. - Post-apocalyptic Scandinavian society
Red Moon Rising - Steampunk Fantasy
Space Junk Arlia - Starship adventure, kinda reminds me of Firefly or Cowboy Bebop
Just a bit of self promotion. I do the illustrations for Geeks & Goblins at www.geeksngoblins.com Just recently overhauled the site it functions better than when I first posted in these forums.
Lord Nitekon
Illustrator Geeks & Goblins.
Hey, thanks for adding my comic '13 Legends' back there. Lots of great stuff on the list :)
I've also got another Murder & Midnight which -- at this moment actually -- has an ad running at the top of this forum, ironically, lol. I'd love for it to be added to the list too. I'm running a Kickstarter for a 144 page hardback of book one. Anyhow, thanks to anyone willing to check out the comic. Updates Fridays.
Here's a mockup of the hardcover, in case anyone's interested:

Hey what a great list! Can you please add my comic, Critters to it? Thanks!
I just looked for "D20monkey" and didn't find it, if that's due to my stupidity, please ignore this post, but otherwise the comic is here:
http://www.d20monkey.com/
Hi you could add ours:
Wherewood - New webcomic set in a fantasy-gaming world. www.wherewood.com.
Thanks!
Guys, there was that comic about an eastern-style city and it's political intrigues. It was drawn pretty well and had a black&white inking 80s style, but unfortunately I forgot its name. Does anyone know it?
you're more likely to get answer if you create a separate thread. this thread is for maintaining the webcomic list only.
It's nice to see DataChasers on the list -- it's both one of my favorites and one of the very best. I can think of several more greats that are not on the list. Like its excellent spinoff/prequel, LunaStar.
I post a link to all of these comics with every update of my comic (none are mine, I just like 'em):
The Adventures of Jonas might be the best comic I've ever read.
Civilian, a cool "real-world" supero comic.
Genocide Man, a Warren Ellis-y webcomic better than Warren Ellis' actual webcomic.
Kay & P, wonderfully oddball yet very moving.
Lavender Legend, a delightful gender-bending adventure.
Let It Ride, just damn funny.
Mars II, dark brilliant sci-fi.
My Life With Fel, like a Saturday morning cartoon for grownups, brilliant art.
Oi! Tales of Bardic Fury, imaginative faux-history with cool art.
Pulse, my favorite superhero comic.
Twilight Trust, funny, smart adventure/monster fighting.
Zelfia, my favorite fantasy webcomic, very Whedon-y.
P.S. Mine is Eternal Knights, a superhero/fantasy comic about a suicidal immortal.
