Q 472
Might be an obvious one, but...can Resurgence give another save against a Bestow Curse spell?

Q 473
The following events take place:
Creature A has greater anticipate teleport active.
Another creature B teleports next to it, is delayed
Creature A activates an antimagic field standing next to where B will appear
Will creature B appear as antimagic field takes effect, or after the greater anticipate teleport delay is finished?
Will creature B arrive in the chosen spot, or will the teleport fail?
If the creature arrives in the antimagic field, can it still immediate action celerity and teleport out?

Q 475
The Summoner Domain (SC p.281) lists the various Planar Ally spells as 6HD, 16HD and 24HD respectively. Both the PHB and SRD list them as 6HD, 12HD and 18HD. Which is correct? Or does using the spell through the Summoner domain raise the HD cap?

The text of the spell always takes precedence.

1. All magic effects inside an AMF are suppressed for the duration of the AMF. Anticipate Teleportation is the effect preventing the creature from appearing. As soon as that spell is suppressed, the teleporting creature appears immediately.
2. Teleport is a spell with an instantaneous duration. Such effects function just fine if they originate outside of an Antimagic Field and are cast into it, because the magic has already happened.
3. Since characters are permitted to take immediate actions any time they are not flat-footed, I don't see anything preventing you from casting Celerity to Dimension Door away in response to being subject to an Antimagic Field.

A 473 contention
For part 3, you would not be able to cast celerity in response to the anti-magic field in this case, as teleporting into the AMF would have to be done before you could cast celerity and thus no longer be able to cast celerity due to being in the AMF.

Q 476
Can the Draconic Claw feat be taken beyond Sorcerer Level 1st? I don't know if it's stating that you must be level 1st for it, or that you must have a minimum of level 1st.

The latter.

Q 477
Can a caster create partially or completely overlapping Permanent Images? If yes, how would disbelieving them work?
For example, if I'm playing a Wizard and cast Permanent Image three times creating the illusion of a wall in front of me every time, would a foe need to succesfully roll to disbelieve three times to see through the wall? Or would a single succesful Will save disbelieve the three overlapping illusions?

Q 478
The Dread Wraith has a supernatural ability that functions as follows:
Unnatural Aura (Su): Animals, whether wild or domesticated, can sense the unnatural presence of a wraith at a distance of 30 feet. They will not willingly approach nearer than that and panic if forced to do so; they remain panicked as long as they are within that range.
My question is, are animal companions subject to this effect? Would a magical beast be affected?
-
Re: Simple RAW Thread for 3.5 #32: More Seasons than the Simpsons
A 478
Animal companions yes, magical beasts no. If your animal companion is not an animal it would not be effected either. Basically if it has the Animal type it is affected by it.

Q 479
What is the reach of an advanced, Large-sized grell? The Grell Patriarch stat block in Lords of Madness is done in the old adventure shorthand fashion, and they forgot to list the Size and Reach.
Normal Grell are listed as having 5 ft./5 ft. (10 ft. with tentacle). Small Grell Juveniles in Expedition to Undermountain are listed as having the same space/reach as the Medium version.

Q 480
If you increase your int modifier, do you gain skill points for the previous levels you've taken?
If so, would you gain more for what you would normally gain at first level, too?
-
Re: Simple RAW Thread for 3.5 #32: More Seasons than the Simpsons
A 480 No. (Filler characters)

Q 481
Okay, this one is going to sound dumb at first glance, but bear with me:
Can you make a trip attack on a subject that is already prone?
For example, the Great Throw feat (Oriental Adventure) allows to inflict damage on a successful trip attack. Can you make several on the same opponent in succession to slam him on the ground left and right? (Which, yes, would result in a Metronomic Man Mashing effect.)
Likewise, the various "Throws" maneuvers of the Setting Sun discipline from the Tome of Battle are initiated with a trip attack; can one be used on a prone opponent within reach to throw him away?

There is nothing in the "Prone" condition that prevents being tripped, so yes, you can do what you are thinking of, you filthy Hulk wannabe.

I'm looking for a listed non-magical alarm type trap (i.e. bell, gong etc.). Can someone point me to a source?

A 482
It's probably not exactly what you are looking for, but the Arms and Equipment guide has something called a Signal Arrow that, when fired, mimics the cry of a specific type of bird.
You can craft a spring-loaded arrow trap with these so that when someone triggers it, it signals everyone nearby. Just use some exotic bird not native to the area you are in. Theoretically you could load multiple traps with different sounds so that you know without rolling which direction the intruders are coming from.

DMG2 has what you're after I believe. The simple traps section. Sorry I can't be more specific am afb at present.
If it isnt there try Races of Stone in the Kobolds section.

Thank you kindly! The RoS Web Enhancement has a CR 2 Bell Alarm; and DMG2 has the CR 1/2 Alarm Booby Trap.

Q 483
If a druid is forced to wear metal armor against his will, does he still lose his abilities?

Yes. Only wearing is checked, not whether the druid dons it willingly.

Q#484: Can a PC have a constant readied action to fire his bow at an enemy?
Q#485:Can said character also take a move action?(Ithimk yes, "Readying is a standard action." -http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/spe...ions.htm#ready)
-
Re: Simple RAW Thread for 3.5 #32: More Seasons than the Simpsons
A 484
No. You can only take your readied action at any time between your current turn and your next turn. If you did not take your readied action during that time, it is lost. If you take the action during that time you no longer have a readied action. On the second turn you need to ready another action again to be in "ready to fire mode" again.
A 485
After having readied an action you can take a move action.
-
Re: Simple RAW Thread for 3.5 #32: More Seasons than the Simpsons
A 484 additional Note: one cannot ready an action outside of initiative, so one cannot wander around with a readied action.
A 485 correction Actually one cannot ready then move (and I am sure Andezzar just mistyped). Reading an action ends one's turn.
What one can do is move then ready each turn (until the readied action is taken, then initiative resets and the process must be begun again).

I cannot find anything about ending your turn after you readied an action here. Please back your claim up with a quote.

What's the source for this?

Common sense.
First of all, Readying and Delaying are categorized as "special initiative actions", so they don't make any sense outside of initiative. Second, rolling initiative already covers reacting to sudden situations (provided you can make the proper Spot or Listen checks to detect them).
