Yes, which is why Heliomance posted a picture of the caste's iconic character.

On a related note, I would totally play a Twilight Caste named "Glimmers in Eventide." :smalltongue:

I have been gone from this thread for many moons
But I bring you a theme-relevant motivator
That is all.

Voyeuristic necrophilia, that's all I have to say about that. I fairly confident that series is the most sinister evil I've ever encountered, and many of its readers will try to chastise me for D&D.

Once you spoiler the posters, yes.
It's not super fun to have to scroll past them once you recognize that you've seen 'em all and want to check to see if there's anything else that's been posted.
-
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
Beyond the nonspoilerousness, my only gripe with those posters is that they do not cover all Lunar and Dragonblood castes.

Spoiler
Show
SNIPPED FOR AWESOME
That is all.
Is that Ben Franklin flying a revolutionary flag made into a kite with wolverine's claws fighting Zeus?
-
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
Indeed.
And Zeus? Poor choice.
Nikola Tesla would make a worthier opponent.

But Franklin didn't steal electricity from Tesla, he stole it from the Gods. Tesla just took what Ben had stolen and twisted it to his own creation.

Of course. Though I think linking to the picture would be better than linking to my post.
Now I owe something like 3 tax. And I don't have a campaign of Homeworld to raid for pictures to turn into demotivators. Looks like I'll have to start one up.

I found the images on memebase and those were the only ones so sorry about that.

Those were the only ones done, regrettably. :smallsigh:

Right here
the URL is also on the image itself, but turning it into a demotivator shrunk it down too much to make out.
There's a ton of great stuff there, which I was also thinking about making into demotivators...

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
Anyone remember that series of short stories someone wrote a few years back and posted on Giant, with various Founding Fathers depicted in the style of Exalted? I remember one was George Washington battling an army of British velociraptors.
-
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
It was mythpunk by the Demented One sadly it is no longer updated. Here are the 7 or so completed stories.
-
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
Probably The Demented One. I seem to remember them. Adam Smith had a sword called Wealth of Nations.
Edit: here. Washington Invictus.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
Well, when I started playing homeworld for to get the pics I want, it crashed rather abundantly. And took my computer with it. Still trying to figure that out. Anyway, I have a tax:

My offerings, all made by yours turely.
First, some commentary on PCs and equipment
And then some amusing failures...

NICE. I've played with a DM like that since my first campaign, 21 years ago, and it is awesome!
...just don't get too attached to anyone or anything in your backstory. :smallwink:
