Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Don't worry about the comic. Do what you've gotta do for class, then come back and amaze us with your comic skills once that issue is resolved. It certainly isn't worth adding the comic to your stresses when you've got college to think about.

You know what the news that I wanted to hear was? That you were feeling ok. The news that you were doing fantastic, enjoying college, and shedding stress. The tales of you having fun, with real people, in real life.
So I'll be praying for you, Coffee. Hope you feel better.
The comic? It can wait.
...that.

Mithril, Whiskers and I give you a hug to, and you will show that exam and paper how much you can kick their butts.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Thank you guys, seriously. I am okay though, and I'm having a great time with my friends. I'm just really stressed out and it all sort of spilled over at once. I'm really nervous about this exam, but I'll be okay.
...I think my printer just died though, so now I have one more thing to worry about.

Take a walk. Play some Pokemon. Then study. We'll be waiting.

As a fellow student (computer engineering though, so I can't really speak of organic chem... just regular chem ;)).. I can totally emphasize and really wish the best for ya ^_^ After all, if it was so easy everyone would have a degree right? XD
I'm sure you'll do a fantastic job on the test :D Don't even worry about the 'what ifs', they are a pain in the butt but even if a what if happens, you'll pull through just fine :) I know it!

We prefer to have a happy and cheerful Coffee, who is enjoying college, than having you stressed. So if you need to take a few days or even a few weeks to atch up with your school work and al if you need them. We can wait. So take it easy, focus on your preliminaries and papers and when you are finished with that, you can continue to amaze us with your drawing and writing skills

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Who do you think is the worst example of Paladins?
- Kagoan Paladins
- Miko Miyazaki
- Grey Knights Chapter (They fight demons but they are okay with killing innocents, even vicious space wolf chew them out for it)
- Kore (Like a spawn of Miko and Grey Knights Spacemarine)
- Holy Light Church from Diablo 2 (Paladin is kinda like
Spoiler
Show
Llyod, except he belongs to a group that disagrees with the church.

My vote is on Kore.
-
Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Kore killed a kid (I'm talking the Dwarven equivalent of like an eight-year-old here) for being kidnapped and raised by orcs, because the "seed of evil" had been planted in him.
So yeah, Kore is officially the worst.

The grey knights are not paladins, they're demon hunters. Appearance aside.

Well, TV Tropes section of roleplaying games say so (as in technicality).

Seconded, but context pays a role. The Grey Knights would kill a planet because ONE psyker on it MIGHT be corrupted.
Thing is, in the 40k universe, that's arguably a smart move.

The 40k universe is a place where immortal robot skeletons battle an unlimited supply of giant flesh-eating space bugs while what basically amounts to a dead human god keeps the unstoppable powers of a completely different dimension from destroying the whole galaxy by devouring the souls of several thousand humans every day just so he doesn't die. Meanwhile walking green mushrooms pile garbage into the general shape of a tank and make it work with magic, crazy space elves do battle with even crazier space elves from their giant movable planets and constantly dwindling population, and what basically amounts to the equivalent of a giant army of untrained militia somehow find a way to misplace a hundred rare and super-powerful battletanks all in one go.
Nothing makes sense there.

Actually, the immortal robot skeletons and the flesh-eating space bugs don't really fight each other and prefer to bypass each other. And its only 1000 souls that are needed to keep the dead human god alive, no more than that.:smalltongue:

The fact that they exist at all is the thing here.
Really quite a shame they don't fight eachother, they would make awsome nemisi for one annother.
That's right Lix.
I ship Necrons <3< Tyranids.
Add it to your wall.

But they both know it would be pointless to fight each other. The tyranids would lose bio-mass accumilated since they can't harvest the Necrons. And the Necrons know the Tyranids are just passing through the galaxy, consuming all life they meet and taking it with, thus aiding their goal of ridding the galaxy of life. In the best interest of each other, they just decided to go their separate ways.
Sorry, had to get that clarified. Now back to Murphy's Law.:smallcool:

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
Hopefully I'll have it up by next week; I don't think my last prelim on the first is going to be so bad.
Here be dragons though, once I get past 220 or so, I'm not entirely sure what's happening next. I've got fixed points, but a few branches in between and I'm still not entirely sure which one I'm going down.

Re: Murphy's Law 8: College? What About It?
*reads last page or so of posts*
Oh, goodness! I missed assisting Coffee in her time of need! Regardless, if you need to take a break, feel free to do so. An over-stressed Coffee will not make good comics. Besides that, we'll all feel guilty that this comic is contributing to your stress. Don't sweat it. Half of us are college students anyways, and we understand. I'm studying chemical engineering, which is one of the most difficult degrees at my college. My only refuge is that I don't need a twitchy-eyed obsession with my GPA to get a job after I graduate.
As for which direction your story is going to go, I think that decision is best left to you. Whatever you feel is going to be the most awesome credible plotline, go with it.

Don't worry, just watch as the thread continues its perpetual lurch towards universal fornication.

Unless I steer it off that track!
So I made ponified versions of all of Team Gale (except Tinder, since he's a dragon, but I'm going to try something with that) on the hub ponymaker game. Now to put them on inkscape...
