Slipping can also be quite kinky, but usually it's a mistake.

Would you feel better if I said that I thought it, but declined to post it?

So in order to subtly change the subject following Rawhide's warning I ask this... Is it bad if your hands start to shake after an excess of coffee consumption? I ask because mine are and I have drunk rather a large amount.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
It's only bad if you stop drinking coffee at this point. You know how matter in transition between states plateaus at the same temperature despite a steady energy source for a while before moving from, say, solid to liquid? Your consciousness is in this state. If you stop now, you will fail to ascend and you will fall hard from the very top of your present state. If you keep going, you will push through and achieve new and fabled levels of coffee euphoria.

:smalleek:This is why I never drink coffee. (The fact that I can;t stand the taste is another reason.:smalltongue:)

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
So, I tried to climb a climbing wall yesterday... yeah, that is a lot harder than it looks, apparently. Unfortunately it didn't look too easy either... :smallannoyed:

Some climbing walls are easier than others. I went climbing recently and did better than i thought i would. Don't give up.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
There is this place near where I live called "OKC Rocks!" where they took an abandoned grain storage silo and built a wall-climbing facility out of it. The thing is just massive, and they let you climb all the way to the top! You get vertigo man...

Yup. From Moscow to Toronto. 8 hour difference.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
I've always loved climbing walls. I'm fairly good at them, but there's this one near where I live that I can never do because my arms are too short. About halfway up there's only one handhold I can grab if I want to go up, but I can never reach it. There's no good footholds to move me further upwards. I think I've climbed that wall over 50 times trying to get up it, but I still havent been able too :smallmad:

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Every so often someone in my hometown is walking down the street, passes a building, says "what the hey" and procedes to jump on the building and climb it. Some make it to the top, some are arrested.

What is the fine (or other punishment) for building climbing in your town?

Is it any one building in particular Phase? Or are people in your hometown just randomly gripped by a need to ascend?
(I blame your influence personally. The cerebral fluid in peoples' skulls being affected by lunar gravitational pull and such)

Or maybe Phase is just sucking them into the sky, and they grab onto buildings to stay, but it looks like climbing.

Can I use that for Quote of the Week once I resurrect it?

If you're saying that you're doing it, you're not doing it subtly enough. :smalltongue:

Really? I don't remember hearing about that.

Re: Jack Squat's Justlessly Juxtaposed Random Banter #101
Well, pretty much the tall ones. The most recent one actually had a wall that looked like one big ladder. They had to change it after the third guy in a short amount of time climbed to the top. Oh, and if I accidentally mislead anyone with the word "Hometown" instead of "Mannhaten", I apologize. :smallwink:
