Though we have never met, and the fact that he's fictional kinda puts a damper on any possibility of us meeting, I suddenly feel a great bond towards Winslow.
Though I totally can't believe he cannot discern the difference between coral and cantaloupe. Cantaloupe is obviously the more yellowish...
Also, I must sleep before my typing skills start to degrade completely.

Actually, I'm afraid Elly and Magtok's shenanigans is only convincing me to remain as I am in that department. Mostly due to recent events involving random Ellydeath and the fact that even family/friend relationships tend to end in me worrying about having to retire my characters due to me not being willing to turn my characters into insane wrecks.

I've been considering opening up something for SCIENCE-y characters for a while now. I figure this is the perfect opportunity. Imperial Laboratories would be available for them to make designs of their own for the potential use of the Empire. Positions available:
Director of Special Projects-Position left vacant by Drelin's betrayal. Would be the overseer of any and all super-projects, like airships or other such things. Would sometimes show up to look at designs for possible use.
Project Lead-A more unstable role. A Designer takes the role when something notable that he or she designed is under actual development.
Designer-The rank-and-file in the Imperial Laboratories. Mission is to make up designs for weapons and everything else that might be of interest to the Empire. Armor, vehicles...you name it, you can potentially do it. Just try to make it interesting, would ya? :smalltongue:

Not much to do with the Navy. Maybe let someone have captaincy of one of the ships or something. Dunno.
Air force-wise, well...little to do. Sanctuary is something I want my own control over, so that's out. If someone really wants to be a gunship pilot or something I probably won't reject it, but...yeah.
[Government Roles]-Chief Diplomat Taken, considering merging Head of Organizational Relations with Chief Diplomat for simplicity
A specific request for these. Please no making the higher-up positions corrupt or something like that...

Chief Diplomat-Would be in charge of relations with other nations, mostly with all the international politics. Could possibly have other diplomats beneath them so as to not snuff out the one there already is. >.>
Head of Organizational Relations-Would be in charge of relations with Acro-Organizations and other such groups, similar to the Chief Diplomat.
Chief Treasurer?-Self-explanatory. Not sure if I'm including this one or not due to abuse potential, and how it'd probably never get seen onscreen otherwise.
Executive Roles - All Free, though I'm certain I won't get all of 'em filled. Just want a few here.

Imperial High Council
The new main government of the Empire, the High Council is a group of 14 elected officials known as High Councilors from throughout the Empire. There is also a 15th, known as the Chief High Councilor, who acts in something of a tiebreaker-type role if no agreement can be gained. I'm willing to open up 13 of these roles, not including the Chief High Councilor.
I'm thinking these would remain offscreen most of the time, with an onscreen IC meeting for when something important was going on.

I'm thinking an elected legislature will remain offscreen, along with judicial stuff. Simpler that way.
The roles I really need taken are the Imperial Army Colonel and perhaps a few High Councilors. I'm certain I'm not getting all I let open there, though. And the Division Commanders are less important, since a Colonel has a total of 10 Divisions under him/her. Also wish to see if anyone wants to be the Head of Organizational Relations, or if I should lump it in with Chief Diplomat, assuming HG doesn't protest. <.<

I think I would be willing to take one of the roles, though I don't really have character that fit them, though I have a couple of concepts in mind. Will think and put together something. Thinking sciency might be the way to go, or maybe a military guy, we shall see.

Winslow Warwick is interested in a position on the council, though you said those with corporate interests might not be eligible.
Charity... hmm... she cares for the city, but I imagine being linked with the most prominent Vyrn loyalist would disqualify her.
Fitzhenry... hmm, maybe.
Can't think of anyone else among my characters who would be interested.

I think I'll be merging Diplomat and Head of Organizational Relations, then.
Rato...probably a Designer, though I need a few High Councilors. They'd probably do stuff offscreen for the most part, with important things onscreen.
As for Warwick, I might be inclined to handwave it, but then I'd have to give Magtok a council position out of fairness (for certain reasons...), and that just isn't going to happen. :smalltongue:
As I've said before, though, Designer roles are free for those who want them. >.>

Hmm... I have a few ideas budding. Not evil, but a Cleric, or at least devout worshiper of the God of War, which could lead to occasional displays of callousness or bloodthirstyness.
